I stopped in a place called Candyland on Wednesday. I didn't have and still don't have the address, I found a description and instructions on how to get there online. It's on Google Maps on a major road marked 108 near the "Iglesia La Gracia". The Google Coordinates are approximately 9.940646,-84.074111. It's walking distance from the Hotel Little Havana at Avenida 9 & Calle 3b. To get there from Hotel Little Havana, walk north down the hill. The road will curve to the left, at which point you'll make an immediate right. You'll cross a small stream as you go uphill, then the road will curve to the right. You'll see an "El Pueblo" sign in the distance. This road will then merge into another, and shortly after the merge you'll find Candyland on the right in the last of three storefronts with green gates. It will be across the street and about 20 steps downhill from the El Pueblo Center.

There are a couple of couches near the entrance. Past those there is a long bar to the left and stairs leading to the rooms on the right. Past the bar is an outdoor area with more seating. They are open Monday through Sunday from 11am-2am, but I knew it was primarily a place to go in the evening. I stopped in at 4pm just to see the daytime lineup. There were only 3 women working. One was an acceptable 7/10 if you don't mind late 20's. I was quoted 17k colones for 30 minutes and 25k colones for an hour. I would have went with the 7, but she didn't try for my business very hard, so I went to do further research instead.

I stopped in again the same night (Wednesday) after 10pm. There were a lot of guys and a few more women. Three 8/10's were working. One didn't stay long, I was told she only works weekends a few times per month. The second I couldn't pin down to talk to because she was everywhere. The third I took upstairs. I was quoted differently this time, 13k colones for 30 minutes and 28k colones for the hour. Instead of questioning it, I just paid the bargain half hour. The room wasn't very nice but it was large. I had a good time with the Tica I chose.

Oh, part of the evening lineup included Diana, the Tica I sessioned with earlier in the day. Her friend Yancy from La Mansion was also there. The two of them mostly talked to themselves. Despite all the guys around, they weren't very social.

I had been thinking of going back to look for the 8 that left early, but have been visiting new places instead.
