Paramount is one of four low budget brothels located side-by-side on Calle 6 between Avenida 3 and Avenida 5. Walking from Avenida 3, they'll be on the left side starting about half-way up the block. From South to North, the brothels are Liliam, Paramount, Masion I, and Pension La Portugesa.

I've heard warnings about wandering around this place, even in the day, but I felt comfortable in the mid-afternoon. The street reminded me of some parts of Quito where I've visited more recently.

I stopped in Paramount this past Thursday in the mid-afternoon. After passing Liliam, you'll walk by a bar to see a staircase leading to the brothel upstairs. You'll see a few women gathered around the entrance. There were about 15 women about with one that may have been worth the price. I didn't ask in any of them, but I had heard these places charged in the range of 8k colones for 30 minutes. I think I may visit again tomorrow, but I wasn't tempted to take anyone on Thursday.

I stopped in again that Tuesday. I actually found two worth considering. One had a nice body but looked a little old for me. The other had a pretty face, but was definitely too big. A very unattractive black woman and very obese Latin one hit on me here.

I confirmed hours and prices. They are open 7am-9pm Mon-Sun. Price was 7k for 30 minutes. I didn't see the rooms, but heard they are bad.
