Around the corner from the Del Rey. Exit through the bar side, make a left, walk to the corner and make a right. It is two or three doors down.
This is a short-stay hotel that can come in handy if you are staying in a non-guest friendly hotel, or if your wife happens to be back at the Radisson.

I'm posting to this thread because I think it's shame that no one has posted here in 4 1/2 years. You don't know Hotel Asia?
Hotel Asia is around the corner from Del Rey, next to Las Condes if you know that place. It's a classic short time hotel, but one friendly to gringos. It's crappy, but it's upfront -- cheap money for a lousy room. I was there last about December 2007 and it cost me about 4000 for an hour or two. All the Del Rey girls know this place, and if you really tie one on at Del Rey and don't want to worry about a taxista hassle or about going home, you can rent a room "for the night" or whatever, for just a little more. It's worth it to sleep until 10am or 11am and get coherent and avoid a potential problem.
Someone else should post here updating what I've written, because it's a good place to know if you're new to town.

I'm the last poster, but I didn't notice the picture at the top of this thread. Check it out. I really don't remember Hotel Asia being that Miami beach, art deco, blue, but that's the hotel. If you head to the right from this perspective, and then turn left at the first corner about 40 feet to the right, Del Rey is on the right across the street, on that very same same block.

I think this is the place some Aruban gal took me to for a short time. Is the ground floor all concrete cells? I actually like a seedy atmosphere (like VM in Rio) but this looked too much like a jail, not into S&M enough to appreciate it.

The ground floor, or it might even be below ground, is pretty much like Cell Block C at Riker's Island, I admit. Very small room with a bed/berth and a bathroom. But if you ask for a better room or tell them that you actually are going to sleep there, the ones upstairs are much better. They're don't quite reach good, but they're much better, geared toward people who are there to actually sleep while traveling. I have to concede that it's not a fantastic place, but I think it serves its purpose well. (Or, you can rent a room at Del Rey on the spur of the moment as I did once at 4am, and pay $105.)
