There is a new Sleep Inn next to the Colonial Casino which is part of the Choice Hotel chain. The location is prime and almost next door to the famous Hotel Del Rey and Blue Marlin Bar.
The internet users rate is $81 but a guest fee is $30. There is a 16.4 percent tax.

It looks very nice, includes free full breakfast and they have free airport pickup. (For that price they should include a cold beer and hot chica BJ upon arrival).

It is a pricey alternative to keep in mind especially if you use MPs and such. They probably have rooms in crowded holiday weekends. Go to the Choice Hotel website, www.choicehotels.com.

The Del Rey could only accomodate me all but one night, so I ventured over. Except for the guest fee, it's a very good value. The money exchange rate is better than at the DR; it is brand new and plush; internet access in the lobby (by the way, the DR has free wireless all over the hotel); free transport to the airport; and free breakfast. So, since you have to pay to get to and from the DR from the airport and pay for breakfast, you're only paying a little more in guest fees for as nice a hotel as you'll find.

Ooops, forgot: The AAA rate is $69 + tax

The entrance is from the next street North of the entrance to the Colonial Casino, across from the park.
It is beautiful but the guest fee sort of defeats a good room rate unless you bring your leche to the massage places. I would not hesitate to use it if I needed a room.

Beware that the guest fee is for every time you enter with a girl---even the same one twice in one day.

very nice hotel cause its new, i,m here now for 8 nights, the food in the casino is great, not too expensive. now the bad part the fee for the chica now is $25.00. i really donīt care right now, cause iīm leaving the loads at the MP. i,ll post the picks when i get home. my first choice is always the Presidente, but they couldnīt give me the room with short notice.
