La Bodeguita is a bar/disco/restaurant. On some nights they have a cover, but I don't recall exactly what it was. Don't bother showing up before 11pm as the place will be empty and they are closed on Sundays.

I've read some nice things about this place but personally did not like it. It was usually overcrowded and the ratio of ladies to men was far too low. The mixing in of non-pros also complicated things. I visited on three different nights but didn't successfully pull anyone. The pros I liked were always busy.

It might have just been the time of year, others seem to have had much better experiences here.

This is actually one of my favorite places for the independents in Panama. One thing to remember is that it is very loud inside with the music. So you have to some Spanish to communicate with the girls. I agree with Vladimir that you should not arrive before 11. But they are open on Sundays. It is less crowded, but I have seen some girls from some of the upscale clubs (ie Le Palace) in there partying on there night off. The only time that I have seen it dead was around the Christmas holiday, late December early January.

My estimate would be that 95% of the girls in this place are available for P4P. However some of the girls are more "desperate" than others. Look for the girls just sitting around at the rail across from the bar and NOT drinking. They are in there strictly looking for a client. Easy place to start. Some girls are in there to party first, have a few drinks and dance. They will go with you, but you first have to hang with them a little, Buy a few drinks, dance. It is a fun atmosphere. Drink prices are very reasonable. A full bottle of Stoli is $25. Girls at the tables with guys may or may not be on date. If you see one you are interested in you may just have to wait it out and see. Look at her, smile and express your interest. If she thinks you are a better prospect she will make her move.

Pricing is all over the board. As usual never accept the first price and negotiatel.

Give me some idea where this place is. I'll be there soon and want to try it out. Is it on Via Argentina? Close to Via Espania? I know Panama pretty well some give some land marks (McDonalds, Venetos, Manolos, etc.) Thanks!

It is in the Uruguay district. The nearest landmark I can think of is that Elite and the new Hooters are on the outside of the district.There are all sorts of restaurants and bars there. Habibis, Gauchos, Sahara etc. I am not real good with street names especially somce most of the streets do not have signs!

It is a very cheap cab ride from the Veneto area you mention.

Also I wanted to add to my previous comments. One other strategy to identify the girls there and get them over to you is a small propina for the barmen. There are guys working the tables and obviusly the bartenders. A few bucks goes a long way for their help.

That's a great idea...tip the bar tenders to bring women over...so simple it is almost genuious.

Upon entering the bar I'll tell the bar tender I'll give him $10 if he brings me a chica I like enough to walk-out with.

I am a simple genius! The bar staff know me now there. They know that a tip will be available at the end of the night for introductions. Sometimes I will even point out a few girls to get their reaction. They know if someone is a dead fish or a scammer.

If you are a first timer there I would give a $5 with the first drink and let them know you would like some help with introductions. Then tell them there will be more if it works out.

I spent a few days during Carnival with my novia at a nice litlle resort just outside of the city. She wanted to be away from all the craziness. We came back to the city on Wednesday. She decided she wanted to spend the night at home with her daughter. So I had Wednesday night free. Took a little nap and headed out at 11. Went to LB and was amazed at how empty it was. Talked to one of the bartenders and he saqid that it was the first night after Carnival and many people were resting. But many of the girls would be out because they need to make money. Just be patient.

He was right on. About 1 hour later the place started to fill up and a little after 1AM it was packed. A very positive ratio of girls to guys. Had a hard time making my choice. Found a tall one with nice tits who caught my eye. Had a couple of drinks and dances with her. From Medellin, supposedly in college, and spoke a lot of English, Turned out she was a real pro though. She did not say she was a long time working girl, but mentioned she had been in Aruba, Curacao and St. Marten. All mongering destinations. Turned to be an enjoyable night for $120.

The good news is that the chica population is up and LB is rocking.

I visited this bar two nights in a row on my recent Panama trip and became totally hooked on its ambience: a great mix of fun girls, both semi-pro and pro, reasonably priced drinks, and a lively atmosphere. I get a cheap thrill out of having my ass groped by countless girls as I head from the entrance over to the bar, raising expectations about the encounters to come as the night progresses. Previous comments here about the noise level and the desirability of being able to speak some Spanish are certainly true, but I did not fund the lack of this skill to be a major hurdle to communication, which is mainly physical anyway. Most of the clientele are locals, but it has a generally cosmopolitan vibe and I certainly felt totally safe there. On my second visit I ended up scoring a lively Colombian girl, who delivered a very satisfactory performance back at the hotel. Conclusion: this has to be my favourite nightspot in Panama City based on my, admittedly rather limited, reconnaissance to date. I will definitely return here if and when I visit Panama again.

I do not know the name of the road where La Bodeguita is located, but its one of several running between Calle 50 and Ave Balboa. The road starts with Hooters at the north end and is full of restaurants and bars. La Bodeguita is the last bar on the right before you hit Ave Balboa. Cover charge was $5, but on the Monday this got me 2 drinks. On the Tuesday, just entrance.

What did the girl charge back at the hotel and how long did she stay?

I got her down from $150 to $100 for ST and could probably have got away with $80 if I had been in the mood to haggle. In the end I got good value as we both fell asleep after our first session. When we woke up in the early morning we had a great repeat session, so I ended up with a LT for the price of a ST.
By the way, I had to go to a ST hotel for this. Charged $13 per hour, but ended up not charging me any more for overstaying by 4 hours! Reason for this is that I was staying at the Riende Continental who have security guards that would not be out of place in Colditz. If you are going to Panama City on business, try to get in to Marriott who are definitely guest friendly.

There are several ways to avoid the security hassles at some of the nicer hotels--and not have to pay ST or Marriott prices. The Riande Continental has a back elevator right across from the back entrance into the casino. You can take your chica through the casino and out the back door, take a left and across the hall is the elevator. Never any security back there for some reason. I have stayed there numerous times and this works--but, frankly, I dont like the hotel that much as it is older and a little noisy--although it is well located. You can also leave the hotel by taking a right from the casino back entrance to the hotel back entrance where the parking area is located--this is how you get them out of the hotel in the morning.

If you go through the front lobby the security will follow you to the room and demand 10-20--however, the next day they will be trying to set you up with their own chicas for whatever price--80-100 you tell them you paid for the girl you brought in--plus a commission of course.

You can also order up girls from Oasis right across via espana and they are there in 5 minutes--of course you dont have your pick, but they are good about sending whatever you describe you want, and if you dont like what you see, you can send them back--80 for an hour--85 if you use CC--but that's a hassle unless you speak very good spanish. However, they come through the front and the security will tap you for their commission and you have to meet them in the lobby, which is a little awkward.

El Panama is similar--there is a back entrance to the Fiesta casino that comes out into a hallway in the hotel where there are some small shops. My preference is to stay in the bungalows at El Panama, which are around the pool--very nice and quiet with balconies etc. If you come out of the casino dont act like you are in a rush to go to the room. In fact, sometimes I stop in the pool bar/restaruant area and have a drink just so it will look like the chica is my girlfriend etc. This usually works even if security is watching you. If you come in the front of the El Panama from the driveup area and race to the lobby elevators, then you are going to be hassled by security --usually the desk sargent wants $30, if they let you at all--depends on the look of the girl--if she is a semi pro and doesnt have a naval ring and two tons of jewelry with torn blue jeans, then they will probably let her up after making her register.

Dont ever stay in the Sheraton off the Sur--casino is small and lousy and no talent--the one time I stayed there there was a Panamanian garden convention with every old woman gardener in Panama in attendance--so, unless you are partial to grannies, stay away--plus the security is tight if you are having an in call--they have to stop at the front desk and check in and you are charged. But, if you bring someone in that looks pretty normal--not like a pro--then generally no problem. However, the rooms are small and not very nice--although I have heard they have been doing some remodeling.

When travelling on business on the company dime I've stayed at most of the big named 4-star hotels. Big hotels are just fine, but when I go to Panama on my own dime, I don't mind staying at cheaper hotels...$20-$35 a night. Although the rooms are smaller...I usually get the same results as what is provided in the bigger and more expensive hotels. Food for thought for anyone who doesn't have money to burn.

Also, its a lot cheaper to pay "doble" (double occupancy) upon first checking in. Tell the hotel receptionist that you plan to have your wife, novia, fiancee, whore...whatever stay with you over-night...they will not say you can't have a woman in your room.

In the cheap hotels, the extra cost for a double is something like $2-$5 more per night. But, if I don't pay for double occupancy, then I try to bring a chica up for the night...then even the cheap hotels want an extra $10 bucks or more for each instance. It's all about business and money in Panama.

One-time I paid double occupancy but the night receptionist did not know I had paid the higher rate...she started giving me shit for having a mu-cha-cha with me...I sternly told her I paid for double occupancy...she quickly referred to my reservation card...she saw the double occupancy and immediately shut up. Business is business.

The next night I brought a different chica up. The same receptionist noticed the different chica...but not a peep.

When mongering in Panama you know you are going to be bringing women to your room...unless you short-time them in a pushbutton hotel (not a bad idea). Therefore, why not pay for double and then have the hotel explain to you why you cannot have a woman in your room? Remember, business is business in Panama...if you pre-negotiate to have a woman in your room and you pay the extra double occupancy rate...they can say nothing to you later. And if they do...then you can claim the hotel broke their contract with you...you'd have a right to make a fucking scene in the lobby...you could shout, "I paid double occupancy and now they won't let me take my whore fiancee/esposa/novia to my room so that I can fuck her!"

I visited this placed on my only night (Saturday) in Panama. It is located on Uruguay St near Avenida Balboa. You can't miss it! I arrived about 10:45 pm and paid a $10 cover fee. It did include a drink. I ordered a Panamanian beer since I never tasted it. Served cold, it's actually great! The cost of the country's beer is $3.

There were already plenty of chics there. I would say about 20. Some were alone, or with their girlfriends or with guys. It seemed to be loaded with pros though. I didn't recall seeing any nonpros. You can tell by the way they dressed, usually in skimpy outfits and flashing cleavage as much as possible. Surprisingly, all the chics I chatted with were all from Colombia. Oh, but there were some lookers all right. And they just kept coming in. One chic resembled the lovely actress Shelley Long. She was just shorter. She had that smile that can be seen a mile away. She was from Pereira.

Here is a bit of advice though. You can stay outside and avoid paying the cover charge because the overflow of pros (Colombian) are all sitting outside and usually without a drink. Plus, these girls go in and out of the club like if they really got somewhere to go. If you look at the photo from Vladamir, just picture tables in front of the building along side the sidewalk. There must have been about 15 chics waiting for someone to negotiate. The girls won't come to you to negotiate though. You have to approach them. Usually, you will get a smile or an interesting stare. Of the 5 Colombian girls I chatted with, none spoke English. I tell you that the girls outnumber the guys easily.

The first chic I bought her a mix drink (paid $5) and we danced near the bar inside. I didn't think she was "working" but it turned out she was a pro. We had a good time at least dancing and making small talk but when it came to business she overpriced herself. I only pay $50 for 30 minutes and she wouldn't come close. Her minimum was $100. Her body was OK, but her face could have used some makeup. So, I left her and waited to see what other goodies entered the club. I tell you that this place had some sexy broads. Lots of cleavage and flirty outfits to boot!

I only decided to stay at this club instead of venturing to the strip bars or massage parlors. I just didn't want to pay a take out fee or a commission. I prefer to take them back to the hotel. Here at La Bodeguita you bypass those fees. It's all negotiating with the girl herself. I finally decided on one Colombian girl who had just arrived in Panama. She was flexible in her pricing compared to the first chic I met. We agreed on $70 for an hour. I took her back to the hotel in a taxi which by the way only cost about $3. This includes a stop for the condom at a nearby gas station.
She was dressed in a black tank top showing excessive cleavage and shorts that complimented her ass. Long straight black hair and a tanned body with a cute face, I just had to have her if you know what I mean. Well, took her back to the hotel with no problem since I had paid for double occupany (like Alecjamer suggested). Inside my room, I turned on my laptop and played some Engima which she thought was a great idea to set the mood.

I took the liberty of removing her clothes slowly and immediately I got hard ready for some hot action. I was able to squeeze her tits with my hands but sucking on them was only temporary. I do recommend checking this place out since you can also order drinks outside without having to pay a cover. One other thing I want to mention is that the city itself seems to be a much more safer place to walk at night than in Bogota, Cali, Medellin, Caracas or Mexico City. I walked along Uruguay street and didn't feel threatened. You just have to pretend you know what you're doing.

Has anybody been inside the new Bodeguita VIP located on Via Espana near Via Argentina? I walked in there....much nicer and bigger than the one on Calle Uruguay, but nobody was in there! I was told that the old one will be closing shortly and this will be the only Bodeguita in town. Anybody know anything about this?

best looking gals i saw in panama were here. I really reminded me of LDV in ctg, but with hotter gals this particular night. saw some girls deny some dorky looking gringos. some gals were obviously looking for customers, while others were there to party and you'd have to chat them up a bit and show them a good time first.
