Back in the day (lat 90's) it was the place to stay, but times have changed. They are no longer guest friendly and strongly discourage our hobby.
A trashy little Del Rey slut has no chance getting upstairs. However, if your "friend" has a normal, classy look about her, she might be able to get past the desk and into the elevator, but be prepaired to find a ridiculously priced US$40-50 guest fee on your bill.
