My cab driver warned me about the area and I had read a number of warnings online, but went ahead and ventured to La 20 on a Friday early evening. There was clearly a large police/security presence around. I didn't have any problems.
La 20 is composed of two bars facing each other. The larger one is on the even numbered side of the street and is where most of the action takes place. The large bar is huge and on Friday, people were everywhere. Guys outnumbered ladies, but there were still a lot of ladies available, at least thirty. The average lady was older and not that attractive, but there were still a good number of nice ones to choose from. A couple of the best were busy the whole time I was there, but I still found one that was quite attractive.
The smaller bar across the street is mellow and has more seating if you want to get away from the crowd. The entrance to the short time rooms is also connected to the smaller bar. I found a pretty lady that was busy in the smaller bar, but she turned out to be heavy when I got a better look. Some of the ladies from the larger bar came in, but they usually didn't stay long given the lack of guys.
I was told both bars are open 2pm to 2am. Beers were 2.5k, both for myself and Gisela, the lady I chose. She wasn't very articulate so it was hard to understand her, but I managed. We went for 30 minutes for 50k. The session was relaxed, she didn't rush, but she wasn't very talented either, so the sex was mostly forgettable.
I liked La 20, but I probably wouldn't recommend it for the average hobbyist.
