Some SP general info during my stay from 8/22-8/25:

One word to described SP: HUGE!!! I've never seen so many high rises of apartment, flats, condo, business buildings in all over the places. Hong Kong, Tokyo, and New York are the only places which came in close to having such many. Traffic in SP is a nightmare. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, it is always packed. The only time traffic got better is when it's 2-7am. If you fly into SP, try to avoid rush hour traffic (6-7:30pm) or you'll be sitting on the road and taxi meter is still running. A typical one way taxi fare runs about 20-30R from one place to another. An example, taxi from Conganhas, SP domestic airport, to the hotel Braston in Conselecao would cost 30R or from the hotel to Cafe Foto located in Moema or Estetica Francebel located near the domestic airport would cost 25R.

When you want to go somewhere, bring an address or a business card because SP is so huge that taxi drivers do not know all the locations. The common one that they know w/o needing an addy is Cafe Foto because they got commission.

SP can be very rough on your wallet and it made partying at Centarus and Babarela in Rio seemed like nothing financially. The typical high end night club entrada is 130-160R with 4 drinks included, and the low-end night club entrada is 30-50R w/o any drink included. The low end night clubs like Cocktail, Kilt and others have constant topless/go-go show going while the high-end do not. Cocktail even had a live sex show going!

The two of us did the bar hopping on Friday night to get a sense of all the clubs and selections. I will use our actual bills to let you guys figure out how rough it could be financially. We started at Kilt, had two Black Label (BL) each and bought two lady drinks. The bill was 195R. We hit Cocktail, had two BL each and bought 6 lady drinks (amarulas), the bill was 275R. We hit "something" Gao bar just down the road and across from Kilt. Mini sheik had two garotas and the sheik had 6 garotas surrounded. We had one BL each and 10 ladies "Hed-ge Bull" (Red Bull), and the tap was 485R. We then hit Club Romanza at 130R each for entrada, had a drink, but left because selection was extremely weak. We came to Romanza too late and there were only about 10 girls left. We capped the night off at Love Story disco, an after hour disco near the Braston hotel where programa come to party and earn extra Reais. I picked up a curly brunette and she didn't want any financial compensation, but she did clear out everything I've gotten in my mini fridge. Well, may be SP isn't so expensive if I got lucky like this everyday.

Estetica Franbel IS THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCKS AND OFFERS THE BEST SELECTIONS. I will provide more detailed info in its own thread.

Good point. SP can take a big bite of your wallet if you're not careful. Generally, I don't drink before programa sessions (for performance reasons), so agua sem ice minimized the tab.

Here's an insider's tip for SP. Be sure to check out Bomboa Bar at 6:00pm. Think Solarium meets a poor man's Cafe Foto. You can do the sauna/pool/robe thing if you want. Others will roll in with their business suits on while the band is playing. Rooms on site. Sorry, forgot the admission. Girls are 150R.

Bomboa is on Rua Capote Valente, just off of Avenida Rebouças. If you have ever seen the chuurascaria Vento Haragano, it is just a couple of blocks away.
I recall the admission is $110 Reias, which would include 2 drinks, and your room with the girl. You don't have the 150Reias price guaranteed, so make sure you agree to what you wish to pay before going upstairs with her. BTW, it isn't necessary to buy her a drink. This is a very cool place. Check it out.

Athos, no we didn't try the metro system during our 3-night stay. As I mentioned, SP is huge and it takes more than one visit to get familiar with the city. Love Story disco is safe providing you take taxi to and from.

Cafe Foto was fine but I can't really comment on the definition on "premium". For example, before I hit Rio, I read a lot about your Juliana at the Monte Carlo terma as being your Pet of the Month. Pet of the Month (POTM) is chosen from at least 100 playmates. I had a simple expectation of being satisfied with a plain playmate. I encountered Juliana at the MC terma, but I didn't think she had POTM caliber. She is cute, nice and all but I'm not even sure if she would pass casting calls. And it wasn't just me, but from two other mongers' opinions as well. Please don't get offended as I'm not saying you have bad tastes or I'm an a-hole with exquisite tastes. It's a plain and simple example of how differently two men come up with their ratings.

Regard Juliana, after the session with her, she invited me to her favorite beach "Group Marie" (sp???) on her Sunday day off. That place is about an hour from Rio, costs 100R r/t taxi ride, and Juliana loves to spend her day off at that 1mile/beach goer paradise. You could have a whole fish for 10R and had sex on the beach w/o worry about anybody watching. There you go, I stomped you for setting me to fall down the sky of expectations but now I give you the inside tips of your favorite woman.

Back to topic, you could do much more at Kilt and Cocktail night clubs and they are much easier on your wallet compare to cafe Foto.

It's a combo terma / night club. Remember, this is SP, where guys actually work past 5pm and roll in with their co-workers. Hence, the full selection of girls arrive at 6pm onward.

Brother Athos, if you are willing to risk your life by walking that far to a NIGHT club after the metro ride, you're insane. Be easy on your dick and take a taxi. Remember, you're walking around an unknown barrio in Sao Paulo, not like an easy stroll down Prospect street in La Jolla. Grafitis are commonly seen on both sides of the freeways and some streets in SP, and they aren't even good at doing it.

Does anyone know about any of these clubs: Cafe Moulin Rouge in Moema, Musa's in Ipiranga, Afrodite in Santo Amaro? They all open early like Bomboa and Bahamas.

I had quite an experience in Sao Paulo, where I went for work. This city is full of cool clubs and dance clubs. I went to Cafe Foto, which is somewhat similar to Help without the dance but much more expensive and very exquisite. Sort of pickup bar for executives. Cover charge was about $60-$70US including 4 drinks. The girls were all beautiful and quite attentionate. They asked $100US by the hour. I went with a co-worker just to check out the place. We didn't leave the place with any girls as we thought that it was quite expensive, especially as there are tons of girls for free at the regular clubs. We went then to regular dance clubs such as Azugar and Lanterna. We met beautiful girls and after just a few dances, we were both there surprised to french kissing the girls... At both places we ended up going with girls for free... It was a complete success. We stucked with the girls for about a week (don't forget that we were also working!!!). They were very cool, nice and beautiful. They drove us to various places and we had a ball... Then on the last week, we explored other places such as O'Charlies, and that was also very fun.

Sounds like you had a good time. Be careful about the girls for free though. They will cost you a lot more than a pro in the long run. Still, it is always to have a companion for the week withou it being strictly business.

I was wondering if anyone knew how far I would have to go to have some fun. I will be leaving to Sao Paulo this weekend 9/14 and I will be there for 2 weeks. I have been doing my homework and it looks like there is plenty of places to go. Cafe Foto, Club Bahamas, Cafe Romanza, Maxims, Pizzeria, France-Bel and more. But I'm staying in Al. Madeira, Alphaville out side of the city. Does anyone know how far I will have to go or is there anything closer to this area. I'm staying there because it's about 2 blocks from where I will be working. Any feedback would be great.

Just got back from Sao Paulo yesterday afternoon. Was in the city for only 2 days. I have friends there and we spent the weekend at Juquehy (spelling?). Beautiful place for beach type activities. About 2 1/2 hours from the City.

First night (Friday), my friend takes me to Bahamas (Rua Dos Chanes 571). Lots of girls. Some very nice ones. A rainbow of colors.

I decide on a light skinned brunette Basilera with the Brazilian body that I love. I speak enough Portuguese to tell them that I don't speak Portuguese. My friend, Pting, is from Sao Paulo, so I let him do the talking.

Vasp airlines is prolly your best bet...or get an airpass if you plan on hitting a few places (maybe SP, RIO, Iguassu or somewhere further afield like Curitiba, Fortaleza, Recife, etc)...I think brol.com lists flights within brazil...

You can take a bus from SP to Rio in about 6 hours. Many are air conditioned, and quite safe. It is a good way to see what things are like outside of the cities.

I personally like taking TAM from Santo Dumont (SDU) in Rio to Congohas in SP. Both airports are near downtown. You can get TAM tickets on Travelocity, and get AA frequent flyer miles with them.

If you really want to fly SouthWestern style, fly on GOL. You have to purchase those tickets inside Brazil unless you have a Brazilian CPF number.

I like flying GOL. Will probably take it the first part of January to go from Rio to Florionapolis, or Puerto Alergre.

SP so far, very mixed results. First the city ain´t bad at all, just a big city, no problem for anyone growing in big cities.
MP´s are very interesting as new experience. Francebel and celcenter have decent experience, FB slightly better selection and more girls, 75% doable.
Was told by my tj partners that cafe photo was very boring and average. Tried romanza, awful place, 6.0 was best, they were following us even to the bathroom, I think you can get a girl for 100 to 150R in that place.
But Bomboa is the bomb, imagine Solarium and Centaurus selection combined in a nice mansion, couches, food, drinks, sauna. We all had a big smile then. 200R is the price with house full of 8´s.
Have high hopes for Dani Mel at MClass. Might repeat at FB as I would not mind trying Silmara. Melissa was very pretty despite big nose 7.0, I expected a nasty session, got gfe instead.
Well headed to W now, if selection sucks, not much else i can do.
