Can anyone please give me some input on Hotel Debret ? I would like to know quality of hotel, cleanliness of rooms, quality of bedding, bathrooms. Can you bring girls back ? What particular rooms are better or worse ? How is food in the hotel ? How is location of hotel for mongering ?

It seems they are very "vague" when quoting room rates and specific room types ? I have no idea why they do this ?? They refer to rooms that are not even listed on the web site, and prices from out of the air ? What's up with that ?
Can you negotiate once arriving at the hotel for a better room and a better rate ?
Also, just how is the breakfast and what are the hours of it ?

Debret's location is perfect for mongering, it's only one block from help disco, which I consider ground zero any carnal activity, most of their rooms are very basic, but clean, try the Ocean front suit with veranda for about $95-100 USD a night, you won't be disappointed. Far as negotiating better rate once you are there, I highly doubt it, but if you go to their site, they have a promo where you can get a Ocean front room for 5 nights for about $300USD, but for few extra dollars I would go for their best room.

Also if you book a double room at Debret, they won't charge any extra for taking girls to your room. otherise you have to pay $15-$17 to bring a girls up to your room.
If you want to try a 5 star hotel and have AMEX, you might want to stay at pestana Rio Atlantica Hotel in ave of Atlanica, they are running a 50% off promo, you can get great suit with huge balcony for $200 a night. Only thing is they might give you a hard time with girls.

S-- You might want to consider the Princess Copacapanna Hotel, IMHO it blows away the Debret and maybe less dinero. Go thru BobbY from Blame it on Rio travel A. , tell him you want a double room with no charge for garota. Yes, you can get better prices walking in off the street, but will most likely depend on variuos circumstances, I think when Debret runs a Internet special that`s most likely the best rate you`ll get, you can get the special walkig in off the street no problem, anyway that`s been my experiences, good luck.
