Just wanted to comment on gitano's querry about escort agencies in Rio. I don't use them for the same reasons he stated, but once in Rio other reasons arise as well. Many of the termas have garotas of equal or greater beauty, plus you get the bonus of judging their attitude beforehand (this is fun) and then if you want them to visit your hotel, they probably will. Also there are those who rarely go to termas and just hang out at the cafes and beach with equal success. In short, there is such a plethora of avenues of opportunity that an escort service seems like an unjustifiable risk IMHO. Yes, they do work the same. As far as I recall the 8 digit numbers appear to be for cell phones and the 7 digit numbers are for residences. I may be mistaken though but that seems to be the way it shakes out.
