Does anyone have some recent info for Buenos Aires? I will be going there in July and have not read any recent info on this place. This leads me to believe it is not a great place for partying.
The posts I read say it is expensive and not really a memorable place.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

World Sex Archives, a pay site, did a recent update, complete with pix of some of the girls. Euro-look Latinas. HOT! HOT! HOT! Several clubs cater to hobbyists.
The expensive part appears to be right, at least when compared to Costa Rica or Thailand. Rates were from $150-200 por la noche...a bargain by US standards, and the chicas were some of the best looking I have seen.

There is new trip report on TSM about Buenos Aires written by Moondog. It sounds like the prices are basically in the range that Ezy mentions and the girls are beautiful (moondog's report has some photos). In fact, I've never seen a trip report as good as this one. It has a photo album of beautiful women, a map and a detailed report of full of places to go, prices, etc. He covers the ABCs of partying from cafes (Orleans Cafe sounds like the best), night clubs for pros, the escort scene, newspaper classified, etc. If I were you, I'd join TSM just to get access to this report.
After reading his report, I'm thinking about going to Buenos Aires.
If you're stopping in Rio on your trip, I can help you out on information.

HornyMike - It is another "for pay" single guys travel sight. Moondog has posted his great Buenos Aires report over here on ClubHombre so I won't bother with joining TSM.

Hola, Hombres.
Hey - any of you Sudamérica vets notice any effects from the recent tourism decline on the South American mongering scene? Are there fewer mongers in places like Argentina, Brazil, etc. due to the decline in tourism? If so, are there more available chicas? Lower prices? Longer times? Now might be the time to go...

I was in Buenos Aires 3 weeks ago. There were lots of chicas & not many mongers...Argentina's economy is in terrible shape...so I expected it would be a buyers market...but I was wrong. Prices remain high, by Latin American standards...but the quality of service was the best I have ever experienced...

I am in BA at the moment. It is my 4th trip here this year. Of all places that I have been in the world, the women here are the best when you are lonely, and want a real GFE. Womem are nice in Brazil also, but here in BA, they just seem to enjoy their work. They are also more sincere during you visits with them. Some of them will even ask if you want get married so that they can go to the states with you. Of course when you are 57 like I am, marrying one of these 27 yr old chicas would not be the best, but I guess is could sure increase your Viagra bill.

Canonperdido, Yes, indeed they enjoy their work! I am 50 and the girls I have been with from BA make me feel 30! I wish I could go 4 times per year...
How about writing a report of your experiences?

Currently, I am finding the prices to be $150 to $200 for the senoritas to visit your hotel room. On my other trips this year I have stayed in Palermo, 3 or 4 miles from downtown. Downtown BA is your typical big city, but it is very beautiful. Anyway, I just like walking around town, and seeing how the locals live. I did not encounter, or try to encounter any chicas in Palermo. Aslo, on my last trip, the hotel in Palermo where I stayed really did not appreciate Chicas in their hotel. By my 3rd trip this year there was a lady that I met on my first trip. Anyway, I saw her 4 times on my May trip, and 4 times on my Aug trip. By any measure she is a 10. By the 2nd trip, I had her phone number, and we could meet outside of the club. When she would visit me in May we would go to one of the love hotels in Palermo.
For this trip, I have been staying at the Best Western. I am feeling kind of riped off there because they are charging me $30 every time a lady visits my room. I am mad about that because one of the reasons that I was not staying in Palermo is because that hotel did not want visits from chicas. If I had know there would be costs at Best Western for chica visits, I would have stayed in Palermo, and gone to love hotels.
I visited Playwoman on Sunday night about 10 PM. I was the only man there. At 9 came up to talk and we went back to Best Western. It was then that I got hit up by clerk for $30.
Last night a taxi driver took me to a place he suggested. I am sorry, but I just do not remember the name very well. I think it was called 'Trauito' or something similar. I got there about 3 AM. There were only 4 chicas there, and no men other then me. One of the chicas was a Peruvian. She was very beautiful, and was about an 8. She was good, but not as good as others.
Will write more about other later.
Chau.
By the way. I speak Spanish (castellano when in Buenos Aires), and it makes it much easier to talk to the ladies. I have found that most of then only speak a very few words of English.

Canonperdido,
I am in BA right now for two days. Give me a call on my cell phone: 15-5668-8194.

Will try to call you later. Last night I went to Playwomen, and Solidgold. Did not take out any chicas last night, but it is something when you have been to a place in Argentina, and everyone recognizes you and calls you by name. One lady that I had been out with two times before at solidgold told me that she was going to Miami for a month. While there, she expects to make $25k. Gee, maybe for that, I should become a transvestite. I will not do that because I just have other things I would rather do, but that is still good dollars.
I did visit one lady from www.escorts-argentina.com last time. She looked as good in person as she did in her picture. She was a good GFE also.
I also went to a place about 2 doors down on Calle Pelligrini from Excedra called 7Lunas. STAY AWAY from this place. You will loose all your momey there. It will not be stolen directly, but just when you get out, the bill will kill you. I had one drink, and bot a chicka one, and they gave me a bill for $170. I complained, and they reduced it to $110. I had found a chick that I wanted to leave with also, but after getting ripped off there, I wanted nothing to do with anything there. Since I am in a foriegn country, not my own, I just paid the bill, and got out as fast as I could.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Going out with Ardirana and the owners of Platynum and another girl for dinner. But call anyway, and we can meet you somewhere for a drink.
Be careful of those kinds of places. They are mainly for tourist ripoffs. Stay with the better known clubs in Recoleta, and other parts of town.

You lucky dog. I had coffee with her the other day. Asked he if she wanted to change jobs. She just smiled. I did see one lady from her site last night. Guess I told you that. I see another one down here that I met last January. Looks as good as any on the site, and besides I really like her. Have her home number an everything. She is even going to visit me in the states in a couple of months.
I just tried calling your phone, but it did not answer. Will try again.

ps: I might be able to meet about midnight for a drink. Will check this place later, and also try calling later.

I have tried one of Moondog´s suggestions, and visited the Cafe Orleans cafe last night. I got there about 11:30 PM. There were several different types of people in their: chicas in there by themselves, a couple of small groups of chicas, some people just having dinner, and other single men. I struck up a conversation with one person who looked like a ´Norte Americon´ to me, but he turned out to be English. Of course, while I was talking with him, there was the constant flash of smiles from numerous different chicas. It was hard not to smile back at them, but since this starts the conversation with many of them, I did not return the smile. There were probably 15 chicas there when I got there, and most of them were really good looking. One thing about age, most of them tended to be in the 18 - 24 range. This is usually a little younger then I like because they just do not have the practical experience that the 25 to 35 yr old have, but they still were certainly good lookers.
Finally, I found the one I liked. She was 24 (I know, I lied). I had noticed her when I first arrived, but then she seemed to disappear. When I saw her, I smiled at her and she immediately came over. It turned out she was from Brazil. I had to tell my Engish friend that it had been nice talking to him, but he just not have the same appeal this lady had. After a few minutes, we began discussing price. Her $130 for 2 hrs in a hotel was the best price I had encountered since being in BA. We negotiated an all night deal, and got a taxi back to the hotel. On the way their she asked if I had a condom, and when I said know, she as for a couple pesos so that we could have the needed rain coats. She was smiling, and noted that we now had 4, and that we would be using all of them.
This lady probably knows more about BJs then anyone I encountered before. She enjoyed straight sex also, but would not do anal. She said that since she was on the small side, it just hurt too much. In the morning, this lady did not get up an run out of the hotel. I sort of had to ask her to leave about 1 PM in the afternoon. All 4 of the condoms were used also.
Anyway, next time I get back to BA, I may just forget all of the strip clubs. You could get more then you ever need just off the www.escorts-argentina web site, or places like Cafe Orleans.
I have to say, I did not get any rush to buy too many drinks at Cafe Orleans. By just staying in Cafe Orleans an experiencing the talent there, you might be able to save more then enough to have a couple of extra chica´s during a week by not paying the inflated prices of the clubs where you have to pay inflated prices to buy the chicas a drink. Just think about it, two trips to Cutty Shark or Catto just for the drinks would be enough for the services of this pretty blond encountere at Cafe Orleans.

Question..I hear a lot about how expensive BA is and how the currency is 1:1 with USD, then why is it that people are strugling over there, and is it true that if you are an american walking down a mall..women swarm you trying to befriend you to perhaps end up in US. Why is that, since they are just as expensive as we are? I'm just trying to understand the culture down in BA before I arrive.
By Moondog on Saturday, November 03, 2001 - 11:27 am: Edit |
Fly Guy,
That rumor is flase. The women do not swarm American Men to come to the U.S. They will however accept donations to help them out financially, and will also accept a trip to the U.S. for some fun with a nice guy.
Their heart, though, is really in Argentina. That is where their family is, and when separated for long lengths of time, they want to go back as soon as they can. I have two personal friends here in the U.S. who are from Buenos Aires. Although they are doing ok here, they are very unhappy if they cannot get back to Argentina at reasonable intervals.
If you really want to have a great time with these ladies, become friends with them, and bring them to the U.S. for a short time if you are able. They would love to travel, as long as they know that they are able to return within a short time.
If you marry one of these girls, just remember that her family is very important to her. If she cannot travel frequently to see her family, then you will have an unhappy woman on your hands. If you are able to provide her a good life in the U.S., along with the the ability to travel to visit her family and friends when she needs to, then you will have a beautiful wife and partner.
If you are not interested in marriage, or bringing her to the U.S., then keep in contact with individual girls through email or phone calls, just to say hi. You will have her as a friend for as long as you want.

Moondog is right. I was in BA last August for 1 week. My visit was confined to the Recoleta district and the convention center. However, there was no swarming of women at anytime. Besides, women from Argentina don’t need a visa to enter the U.S. They just need a passport. So unless they are looking for a sugar papi who lives in the U.S. they will not aggressively swarm. They are just too proud of a people to do that.

How/where do you get the cheapest flight to BA?
I've been looking at flights from the US to BA... and they're expensive.
Where do you get the cheapest flights from the US to BA? Which airlines? What US city is cheapest to fly from? Is it cheaper to fly from MX?
The only thing keeping me away from BA is the cost of the flight.
Anyone? Anyone? Beuller? Moondog? Ezy? ... ;-)

Mr. Bill,
Travelocity has fares from Phoenix to BA for $650. (With connecting service)
If you fly from LAX, the flight runs around $600 to $610.
By Ezy on Sunday, November 04, 2001 - 04:41 am: Edit |
MrBill,
American is running a sale: Buy before Dec 4. Fly before March, 2002. Fare from Atlanta is $616 with tax. Lan Chile just completed a sale: Fare from MIAMI $350 app., via Santiago de Chile.
I don't know about airlines/fares from Tucson, but Miami and NY are the two largest gateway cities in the East. Delta flies direct from Atlanta.
How to find the best fare: I usually let Travelocity or Yahoo identify the lowest fares. I match these fares against Orbitz & the web fares posted by the airlines on which I am frequent flier. Then, if I am certain of my dates, I plug them into Hotwire...
$616 has been the lowest posted fare I have seen lately for 0-one stop flights. However, Hotwire offered a fare of $445 on the dates I wanted to travel. I did not snap it up.Too bad.
After verifying with my employer that I could be absent on the dates I wanted to travel, I went back onto hotwire only to be quoted a much higher fare. Moral: check Hotwire when you are ready to buy. Downside: no ff miles.
American and Delta are offering double FF miles through Dec.`15. That's 20,000 miles for one flight, half of another ticket to BA!
I hope all this is helpful. If you decide to go, I will be in BA for two weeks in late Nov-early Dec. Maybe we can get together....

A simple question:
How come you guys are paying big bucks for chicas in Argentina, when the ads in paper promise cheap sex? Here's a URL:
http://www.oportunidades.clarin.com/HomeCategoriaOportunidades.jsp
Pick item #59.
Perhaps someone can give us the inside scoop on these advertised services.
By Ezy on Monday, December 24, 2001 - 02:50 am: Edit |
I can only speak for myself...my reasons are as follows:
1.Health. Girls in clubs (boliches) are required to go for std checks every six months.
2. Safety. If you are ripped off, the boliches know how to contact the girl.Generally, the managers do not want trouble makers on their staff and are responsive to complaints (I encountered an exception on this trip: Cutty Sark is not responsive and will not offer help. Cutty is off my list).
3. WYSIWYG. I prefer to see a girl and talk with her before I "date" her. Who knows what you get via the classifieds.
4. Spanish. I speak basic Spanish, which makes it more difficult to negotiate via the phone, get the address/directions, etc....
5. Session Length. Most of the rates you see in the paper are for the half hour...I prefer longer sessions...2 hours plus at a minimum, and have a strong preference for all nighters...
These are the reasons I have not called girls from the classifieds, but I must admit I have been curious. For what it is worth, I only pay "big bucks" for first sessions....If I click with a girl, she either spends more time with me for the same amount or the same time for less money on future dates....$125-225 for todo de la noche has been the range for second, plus dates vs $100-150 (1-2 hours)& $200 (3 hours)on first "dates"....
By Moondog on Monday, December 24, 2001 - 03:47 pm: Edit |
The ads in the paper are very much like a vending machine. Put your money in, take the product, and leave. If that is what you want, then go for it.
I very much prefer to have a girl with me in the afternoon, then dinner and dancing/cinema/theatre in the evening, then more of her in the wee hours of the morning.
$200 is a fair price to have a beautiful model on and in your arms for a beautiful evening, and to remain friends with you for a long time. The BA girls are beautiful to look at, be seen with, and if you treat them right, you will have a very special friend to be with. They love the sex as much as anybody, and will treat you right.

It's anybody's guess what the currency will do, but don't be surprised to see it be de-valued in the next year or so. Maybe not, but there is a good chance for it.
By Ezy on Tuesday, December 25, 2001 - 08:28 am: Edit |
The new president is making noises about printing a new currency along with the peso which, for now, will remain pegged to the dollar...a license to print money will contribute to inflation, I fear...and dollar based pesos will make it difficult for Argentina to compete in the export market. Meanwhile, the new pres has suspended repayment of foriegn debt, a first step toward outright default unless the US or another country plays guardian angel.

Hotels where you can take the chicas?
By Ezy on Wednesday, December 26, 2001 - 04:04 pm: Edit |
Most hotels allow chicas, provided you register for two people. Two that I know allow chicas without hassle or additional expense:
Holiday Inn Express,Puerto Madero (well located in the downtown area, Ave. Alem & Cordoba)...rate for two is about $90 per night, plus tax.
Hotel Etiole(in the middle of restaurant row on Junin in Recoleta). Very near Password, Affaire, Newport & Hippopotamus. About $100 for a suite.
By uwphoto on Thursday, January 03, 2002 - 09:24 pm: Edit |
CNN is reporting an expected 40% devaluation in argentine peso coming this week. Once the currency traders start playing games, it can be expected to fall much farther. Surely the troubles will reduce tourist business as well. Since most of the population carries their debts in dollars instead of pesos, the US dollar as cash is going to be very desirable to avoid the hyperinflation that the peso will be suffering.
Maybe this will drive prices down for services from their European levels. If the riots subside and things seem relatively safe, this april/may might be a good time to plan a trip.
Anybody been down in BA since Christmas? Can anyone provide an update on the scene and safety issues?
By Ezy on Friday, January 04, 2002 - 02:36 am: Edit |
I was there until Dec. 18 and had no difficulty, other than loss of sleep as people stepped onto balconies and banged on pots with spoons to demonstrate their oppostion to the govt. I was in the Recoleta area. The area around Plaza de Mayo was more dangerous, as mobs took to the streets.
Moondog has been back after Christmas and reported no problems.
I am headed back in a couple of months just to see if prices for chicas drop. I can put up with anarchy if I can have an overnighter with a Buenos Aires beauty for under $100 a night...smile...Seriously, it will be interesting to watch developments in Argentina over the next few months. Hopefully, Hombres who head that way will keep us updated regularly.

PKS2141, TV didn't sensationalize the fact that in the last 2 weeks over 20 people have been killed as a result of the various demonstrations and protests with police and the militia, this is just a sensational fact of BA and Argentina at this moment in their history, which is one of the worst in their history.
I've been to BA three times now in the last 4 years and I LOVE the place and LOVE mongering there, make no mistake about it, but like any major city there are places not to go daytime or nightime if you have regard for your safety. It's hard to know where these place are for first timers who think the place is totally safe anytime of the day or night. Fact of the matter also is that muggers and pickpockets and robberies are in full swing at the moment as they usually are in times when a large percentage of the country is literally hungry as is the lion's share of Argentina. And never forget that first time visitors to Capital Federal, which is where the wonderful chica action that people report here is taking place, are getting a fairly distorted picture of the socioeconomic picture of Argentina given that the top 1-2 percent of the wealth of the country is right there in La Capital Federal. Go outside of La Capital Federal to some of the remote regions of Buenos Aires Province, for example, and you'll still see mule-drawn carts and the like and this isn't because these people's pockets are overflowing with pesos.
I'm not saying not to go to BA because I literally love the country, the people and especially the chicas, but I am saying to be realistic about the place and realize that those Spanish fluent folks like myself who regularly read the on-line dailies and the actual La Nacion and Clarin newspapers - and who have a fair number of local native Argentine business contacts and friends know what a lot of non-spanish speaking visitors don't know, that there are lots, and I mean lots of violent crimes taking place in BA, for example policemen getting gunned down on a fairly regular basis in broad daylight, shopkeepers getting gunned down for the cash in their register and on and on and on. It kind of reminds me of NYC during much of the 80's before the city's act got cleaned up. So go and enjoy the hell out of some of the most amazingly sexy women on the planet, but take off the rose colored glasses and don't let your guard down. DownBA"

Downba,
Nice commentary. It is hard to see what is really going on if a person does not venture out of Capital Federal. I've seen none of the bad, and only the good during my visits.

Again, not to sound like a kill joy, but the following is just an example of what goes on: when I was in BA last year I was eating dinner at Casa Maria's on Cabildo in a perfectly nice neighborhood in La Capital Federal, in Belgrano or Palermo, and I was chatting with the waiter who told me that just the very night before at about 10:00 PM a group of 4-5 men came in with rifles and emptied out the wallets of all of the patrons. Nobody got hurt. This was last year!!! Imaging how much worse things have gotten since then!!! DownBA

Downba,
Thanks for the warning. The situation in BA at the moment is not unlike what happened in Quito several years ago....The economic situation deteriorated as the value of the Sucre (their currency at the time) depreciated. As the purchasing power of the gente deteriorated, petty crime increased. Desperate people do desperate things.
I was lulled into a false sense of security because of the many wonderful, positive experiences I had enjoyed. Big mistake. I was robbed at knife point at 7:00 PM one evening while out for a stroll in a "safe" neighborhood, two blocks from the American embassy and half a block from the largest McDonalds in Quito....
I still go to Quito, but with my eyes wide-open. I watch my back, never take much money with me, leave the original of my passport in my room safe. After dusk, I take a taxi everywhere even short distances. No more problems...
Similar precautions are in order in BA. Especially now.

I am suppose to start production of an Adult Film in BA in March '02. I hope things in BA do not prevent me from doing this as I have a film crew of 6 and very expensive camera/sound equipment to carry around. It might be a good idea to hire armed police officers or military personnel...any comments????
