unpacked, took a shower a got ready to hit Medellin. I figured it was too late for a massage place and I had read that you could take out from one of three strip clubs: Show San Diego, La Isla, or Face Dos. Of these three I had read that Face Dos was the best and a poster on another board said the quality was better than Flores Frescas in Cali, and better lit also.

So I went down to the lobby and was approached by a security guard. I explained it was my first night in Medellin and I wanted to go to Face Dos. He smiled and had the first cab in line pull up. He told the driver where I wanted to go and I slipped him 5,000P, just a small token of appreciation. Always good to have the security guard on your side. The taxi driver, Luis, spoke little English but understood Face Dos and we sped off in that direction. Face Dos is located in an industrial section on a sort off side-street, so don’t worry that you’re being taken out of the residential area and into some back alley.

We pulled up to the door and Luis asked if he should wait. I figured that was a good idea and I walked towards the bouncers. There was a 5,000k cover to get in and you could hear the music through the doors. I paid and after being treated to a very thorough frisking, I was admitted inside.

Face Dos is in a converted warehouse with minimalist design. There’s a service bar on the left as you walk in and several small stages where the girls dance one at a time. There are tables and chairs throughout and I made my way to an empty table. While the dancers wait their turn to strut their stuff, they sit in the audience and try to get your attention.

A waiter came over and I asked for a beer, but he said no beer. Figuring when in Rome, I ordered a bottle of Aguardiente, the local liquor made from pressed sugar cane. He asked if I wanted water on the side and I said yes. Hey, maybe this Spanish thing isn’t so hard after all!

I took a body count around the place and there were about 20 guys and 30 women. At first glance I didn’t really see anything that I have to have; frankly the women weren’t all that appealing. The girl dancing onstage has a killer body, but the face wasn’t doing anything for me.

Then out of nowhere, a girl stands next to me and says hi. In my experience, it’s the uglier girls that are more aggressive and come up to you, but this girl was hot. She introduces herself as Tatiana and I invite her for a drink of the Aguardiente that the waiter has just placed on the table, along with 2 plastic cups, some water and a plate of fruit. He doesn’t ask for money, so it seems I’m running a tab. There are no prices listed anywhere, so I’m wondering if I’m going to get gouged at the end. We’ll see.

Tatiana has striking black hair with red highlights and a gorgeous face. She’s wearing a halter top and jeans, decidedly dressed-down, but from what I see the body is stellar.

Ordinarily I would just cut to the chase and seal the deal, but I wanted to see what else was available. Another dancer goes on stage and the first dancer makes her way through the crowd looking for tips. I had gotten small bills at the hotel front desk and gave the dancer two 2,000 peso bills. Tatiana keeps looking at me and laughing and she’s really starting to turn me on. Two of her co-workers come over and introduce themselves but the have a real hard-pro look and they’re speaking rapid Spanish, oblivious that I don’t understand a word they’re saying. I understand enough that they want drinks, so I say sure, go ahead.

I decide it’s time to open the negotiations as Tatiana is giving me a great vibe and I don’t see anything else I want. I ask her if she’d like to come back to the hotel and she’s says yes. I ask her how much and she says it’s 100,000P for the bar ($38) and then asks how long I would like her for. I say I want to go out to dinner and then back to the hotel all night and she says 300,000P ($115). I kid around with her and say that seems awfully high, but she says well it’s for the whole night.

I tell her that’s fine and her eyes light up like she’s just won the lottery. We go to pay the bar and they write out a receipt with 100,000P on it, which I pay and then I settle up the bar bill which is 70,000 ($26) which I think is a very fair price. Tatiana makes sure I understand that the 100,000P is for the bar and I have to pay her separately. I tell her no problem and this is the last time we discussed money.

Tatiana grabs her worn denim jacket and hands the receipt to the bouncer who lets us both out. Luis is parked across the street and we make our way towards him.

I paid 300k for all night, read another report where I guy took out two girls, paid 200k for the exit fee and 300k total for both girls for 3 hours. I also read you can do short time next door – 140,000 for 30 minutes.

Bathroom facilities in this club consist of some urinals with a partial 42" high wall to separate you from the rest of the club. To keep the ends of your jeans from being soaked with floor pee, I suggest pulling them up first and then trying to undo your fly with an extra finger if possible. I found the talent in this place to be foul. I did see one 6, but she had her junk heavily pierced. They did have beer when I went, however.

The one hour rooms at this place were pretty decent. You walk to an adjoining warehouse where they have about a dozen cabanas lined up side by side. I think they had thatched roofs. They had a nice size bed, most had couches, with a see-through shower with a glass wall big enough for two. The price for the chica to go to the room with you is $150K pesos, which is about $67 bucks. I am told she gets to keep $100K of that, with $50K going to the house. I took two chicas in one night for an hour and paid $300K, (about $128 bucks) but it was awesome. These chicas definately know how to make you happy.

I liked this place but I preferred to take them back for a spin in my room.

Just make a date with them for after work and you'll get it for longer and cheaper.

There must be too much money being paid to the girls for dancing. They are getting such fcuking attitudes....on top of the normal paisa attitudes. A Medellin veteran told me...whether or not it is true, I don't know.....but, he said that they are being tipped so much money for dancing that some of them won't suck your dick unless they really like you. Now, I am using the term 'suck your dick' as a general euphemism for sex and if the girls really have to like me to fcuk me....then I am in trouble.

I was in face dos in september and have been many times. I agree with Scrubb, most gringos don't go there anymore, or at least not as much. Mixed reports some guys are happy with the service the girls give, some are not.

I have given up going there, there are a few girls like Jennifer and lexi that will give you a fun service. I have tried 2 girls from there and they have attitudes and use 2 condoms for sex and even for bj.

I prefer to go to show san diego it's cheaper and there are a few cute ones there, you pay 70000 for a session. Funny though face dos have started sending their girls there and i picked 2 that were from there, worst sex ever, seriously bad. The others that were there of which 4 i tried this time were great.

Face Dos is unreasonably expensive...I got solicited from all the girls 300K for take out.....why would I pay near 150 dollars for a girl? Medellin is getting out of control. There must be fools out there that pay this price, or they would not be asking...unbelievable!!!!

Fase Dos is hardly representative of Medellin. You can pay 10K(US$5) up to no limit on the upper end. The "free" stuff is closer to the no limit end.

You can get all you want for 40K in many clubs in Centro. Or you can pay 2 million pesos for a TV star.

The real high rollers for expensive poon are Colombians.

It's because of places like the Mansion and the uncontrolable prices that the girls charge there, word has gotten out on the chica grapevine that there are stupid gringos who pay that much. The first time I was there it was 100k at the most and 20 to 30k for SG's and that was pushing it for a girl. It would not suprise me abit if the Mansion gets a kickback for sending gringos there.

As recently as 2 weeks ago, I paid 20K for a street girl. And that was her asking price. You can still pay 40K in some casas.

Let's see if we can talk the FARC and Para drug dealers into paying less. They make us look cheap.

I can tell you for absolute certain that the Mansion folks do not get any kickback from the girls. Generally speaking, they don't know which ones are getting laid and which aren't. They call the girls in not to make a commission on the girls but to keep the guys returning to their hotels. But the girls have established their own norms around pricing. Sometimes you get a newbie who seems confused and can be bargained with, but most are told right when they arrive what the Mansion Mafia pricing is. Nor does the Mansion get kickbacks from the casas for bringing guys. I did witness Boyd getting a comp soda in one, but that's all he got, and none of us even did a girl in that casa.

Bwana is 100% correct. Bringing girls in helps the Mansion fill up the place, which is a win-win for all involved. What the guest pays a chica is between that chica and that guest. Although 150k is the general going rate, Greg & Co. have no way of knowing what we're giving the girls and they're not too concerned.

As far as prices going up, this is what happens when lots of us descend upon a destination. Not much you can do about it, other than find a new undiscovered locale (good luck!).

Yeah, you can get a chica at Mayorista or the massage parlours for much less, but there's alot to be said for just hanging at CB1 or 2 with the girls waiting for you to pick them.

One must be very vigilant in Face II. On my last trip to Medellin I was talking with a guy who goes down to Medellin every two months. He told me that he knows of three different groups of guys who got ripped off there.

All three times it was the same scam. The guys would sit by the stage and start a tab. At the end of the night they were ready to pay a tab that should have been around $200-$300. Instead they got a tab for $1500-$2000.

The guy told me that two of the three groups eventually had to pay the tab. The last one he does not know. Always order drinks from the bar and watch your money.

Just remember those people in Face II, girls included, are not our friends. It is a business relationship and in Colombia the customer is not always right.

Always pay as you drink! . . . at any club/bar.

Stopped in last night and was prepared to be hustled, entrance was ok at 10000. There was plenty of doables here. I had a few beers at 18000 a beer.
