I was in Rio this past September. I had been to Rio three times before and I had never been to a terma. A fellow American that lives in Rio told me to go to 4x4 with him and man I'm glad I did. It was a whole new experience for me. My previous trips to Rio I had only been to Help and called a bunch of escorts. So I went to 4x4 and now I'm HOOKED. When I was there, I saw some serious stunners. Didn't know which garota to get with because there were so many to chose from. But I went with a lady who just happened to be an ex Playboy gata. I think her name was Debra or Karla. She also works an escort for 40 Graus. She was great with the bbbj and the sex. But after the session I couldn't wait to come back again. 4X4 re-opened Monday as promised. The stage, benches and tables in the main boite have been totally re-done. And with 3 girls hopping in the glass shower in the main bar around 10 or 11 o'clock every night, things are wilder than ever--at the same prices.

Just got back from 4X4 this evening and things are getting worse! The barmaids are now demanding a tip, they take your key number and write down on a notepad "Tip" and ask you to write a number, I stayed away from them after that.

Termas talent is about the same as it has been in the last 2 years. I think the level of 02 was an exception and not the norm. Not impressed by 4x4, seeing mostly 5´s. I have only been to 4X4 once, and I made the mistake of arriving too late, 7 PM (in my opinion the good talent was probably busy, the place was too crowded and the leftovers...I did not fly all the way to Brazil for that type of talent). However, Macmac brings up a great point - if the AA flight gets in about 12 PM - why not catch all of the great talent and save the R$40 round trip cab fare and hit 4X4 on the way to Zona Sul? In any event, my question for you Quatro por Quatro regulars is the following: Is it safe to leave your luggage with them during a session or two if you are arriving from GIG on your way to Zona Sul and obviously have not dropped off your luggage yet?

Yes, it is absolutely safe to leave your luggage at 4X4. They will put you in the gringo lockers and Sylvia will watch your luggage like a hawk. Coming or going it is not a problem.

It's done by many of us on a regular basis. There's nothing like hitting a termas both on the way into and out of town.

I went to 4x4 last week, what a bad evening...
First be sure that the cab driver knows exactly where is this place, mine was maybe the worst taxi driver in the world and it took almost one hour to go from Copacabana to 4x4. After 30mn i asked him to turn off the metro, what he did but what a pain in the ass.
So i arrived a little bit to late, the place was packed with brasilian guys and choice was not good at all, i guess the stunners were all already busy....I think in you can't be in 4x4 before 7 pm there is no use to go there unless you are very lucky. I met an old favorite of mine but was so disappointed that i left after finishing my beer. And the reception ask for a tip, what the f...!
Finally i headed to Help, met Suzana, she is from Centaurus and had a very wild night ;o)

The subway is very easy and convenient, not to mention cheap and quick. And I usually find it about as fast to walk to the Metro station from my apartment (usually around Rua Francisca Sa) as taking a taxi at 4 PM.

Rua Buenos Aires is about as easy to find as any other street in Centro. Did you read the instructions in this thread on exactly how to get there? Hop out on Rua Rio Branco and walk a half a block?
