Scooby; I read your trip report, it reads like an advertisment for the Mansion. Did you take a camera on your trip? What did you think of the girls and what did you pay for them?

Well I had a great time while at the Mansion, I just got real drunk on rum one night, and got in a fight with another guest.

It was all the devils drink of Ron Medellin Rum that did it lol.

Greg was very gracious and said that he had to split us up cause the other guy would not let it drop. Greg set me up at the Castillo and even gave me a refund of the difference in price.

I did a dupla my first night I pick up outside of Show San Deigo that rocked my world for 120.000cop each for "todas noches" (all night).

The women were awsome & I never paid more than 150.000cop and that was for all night. None of them jumped out of bed at 6:00am and split, all of them stayed we had a sessions in the morning and they went swimming and left around 11:00am or later. I did take my camera and I have tons of pics & vids but have not figured out how to post them here yet.

I even found a lovely girl that is now my novia whom I'm still in touch with, I call her every couple of days.


My business took a nose dive during the 2 weeks I was gone, due to poor management by my manager whom I left in charge. I have been working hard since getting home to fix everything and its going well now. I started a trip report, yet I havent had time a lot of time to work on it. When I finish it I will post it.

There are a lot of Mansion bashers (and fans to be fair) on Club Hombre.

All I can say is that I had a great time because of the people I met when I stayed there and the personal mission of both Greg and Robert to make sure their guests have a good time.

I've been there once, I don't need anymore guidence from them. I know my way around. But at the end of the month when I return, I will make it a point to party with them.

Well here it is, two days after he checked out and he never came back. Maybe he thought better of it. I too just got back from two trips down there in the last month. The first one I stayed at the mansion...and then two weeks later I had to have MORE MORE MORE, so I went back and they put my up at El Castillo. Interesting note. They were booked up entirely for the holiday weekend, so Robert graciously gave up his room and he slept upstairs in a room under construction. I have to tell you I was blown away by his act of kindness. I decided to go at the last minute and would have had no place to stay. Robert is always going out of his way to make sure the guys have a great time...Greg as well.

I liked El Castillo this trip. It is a bit more laid back than the Mansion...although the Mansion has more chicas showing up. On my last afternoon, about a dozen hot babes showed up at the Mansion just to hang out and party. I went over and had a great time. Gotta love a bed and breakfast that not only provides eggs in the morning but Tetas Fritas in the afternoon.

Greg told me this trip he is working on a new website offering tours of Colombia. Now that things are getting safer, there is so much to explore there. I can't wait to see what Greg puts together...a combination site seeing mongering tour to some of the little known spots of this fascinating country. Should be awesome.

I ran into a new girl on this trip that almost stole my heart. Then she stole something else, but I think this one may take me out of commission for awhile. I know, shocking, Radioman a one woman guy! It won't last...but what a hell of a tiome I had with this one. Wait for my next trip report!

I was there and sitting in on what my friend is bitching about. Personally, though I think the world and all of my Buddie involved in this. I think he blew it out of proportion. One to me just shouldn't get upset over one bad experience vs 30 good days.

Ok, here's the story. Last Monday Greg invited over a bunch of working girls. There ring leader was who I call the first cunt I met in Colombia, skinny brunette with pic in her lip, enough said there. Anyway all the girls wanted 200,000 pesos. Needless to say they all went home broke. My friend was pissed over the prices. Later in the evening we were sitting in the kitchen. The Maid had fixed something to eat for a few of the girls, and Greg asked, " would you two gentleman get up, and let two ladies have a set?" Hell, it didn't bother me as I didn't want to talk with the cunts anyway, and though it was funny they all were going home broke. Sorry to say my good friend got pissed off over it. That's the story!!!!!!

Again, I was there, it didn't bother me, and I think both Greg and Robert were fine host. I'm going back Sept 1st and looking forward to it.

Sometimes a nasty incident that happens may seem really huge at the time, but a few days later after you have a chance to think about it, it seems minor. One more reason why we should never fire off a nasty e-mail when we're mad. Wait a day or two and see if you still feel that way.

I have witnessed some unfortunate incidents in Medellin, largely inspired by too many guys with heavy duty testosterone, too many hot babes all vying for our attention...too much alcohol, and too little sleep. I have no idea if that contributed to any of this. But I do know that Medellin is too beautiful a place...and too much fun to do anything but sit back, take whatever comes with a smile, and pinch yourself that you of all men have found this place. Just think about the poor suckahs back home slaving away, not getting a second look from gringas...and then think about the hot babes that will follow you around just to say hello. (And then go home with you for a little dinero) and it makes all the troubles of the moment fade into oblivion.

Excuse me guys...I have to go back to planning my next trip down there.

As far as giving a seat to a gorgeous babe? I always offer to do that...although it may be on my lap. That would have been a fair solution...no?

Yes, I'm still alive (June 7)! I arrived at the mansion on May 2, and checked out on May 30, 8 days early. The mansion over-charged my credit card $596.59 and owes me an additional 775,000 pesos from pay pal. I've contacted my credit card company who advised that a refund could be completed in minutes once the mansion called to correct their error. Robert and Lina have assured me that I will receive my refund but as of today I still don't have my refund. More to follow.

Once my refund is received I will share a report called: "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!" I don't intend to bash anyone or the mansion. Where I did have a good time from May 2-29, and want to remain friends with Robert, Lina and the other staff members. My report will be comprehensive and factual.

From all the info "EXPLOITED" here of where to stay and go and the ease of getting CHICAS both pro and NON pro, I still cannot fathom WHY people continue to go to establishments that lately have recieved "Some" negative press and charge people "DOLLARS" for daily room rates. I mean have some balls, find an honest guide and find YOUR OWN chicas and PLACE to stay, in the end youl be saving a ton of money, experience MDE more to the fullest because it will force you out of that cocoon your in, AND force propietors to run more customer friendly oriented establishments. Simple as that.

Not sure what you are talking about but let me guess. You are suggesting that guys would have more fun to fly off to a south american city and wing it, rather than take advantage of the services readily available for a simple phone call or e-mail. I don't get it.

I am an experienced traveler and a veteran of Central America, but I was very leery about making a run into Medellin due to all that I had heard, and the sheer unknown factor. At the time I went, only a few trip reports existed. I stumbled across the Mansion and found a place that was friendly and easy and well worth my time and money. In fact I KNOW I would not have had nearly as good a time if I had stayed on my own. I could have managed, but why re-make the wheel. The guys at the Mansion have it down and are very helpful. They were to me...and they had never seen me before. I met both Robert and Greg, got to like them, and returned 8 more times in less than a year...ALL staying at the Mansion. Now I don't need their help too much. In fact I could probably be a guide myself. I just like the place...and I am sure most people would...especially newbies going to Medellin for the first time. It is a no-brainer to me...so I guess I would have to agree to disagree.

Listen Radio, I too am a sesoned Monger, Have traveled extensiveley to asia, DR, peru and going to Colombia for the 7th time in 8 months, Im just saying that, Yes while i do go to Colombia to monger it does not consume the majority or my trip, Staying at the Mansion for me would not make sense, due to the fact when i go to a foreign country, I go to experience thier culture and try to blend it with to locals and not to be confined with other Gringos in a Mansion/House, I mean i would not like to pay $$$ when i can pay pesos for hotel rooms. The Mansion is almost like a enclosed private fraternity. Yes they do get some time to go to Mangos and casas and eat something out here and there, but what else do they know about the city? Yes I do agree if you are a newbie to mongering and do not speak the language fluently like I do then maybe the Mansion would be a good choice due to its "all inclusive attitude" But if you choose to do what i did and find a reliable guide, the first time i was in Colombia, i now know, where to go, whats safe, how to act, a full cell phone of regular chicas numbers as well as pros, plus i stay in a suite w/jacuzzi for 90k/night. So you see it does pay to do your homework, a little research and find a honest guide and save alot of $$$. So yes Radio we DO have to agree to disagree.

I plan on going to MDE in the next few weeks, and I will definitely stay at the Mansion. I'm an experienced mongerer,but have never been to Colombia, and my Spanish is very limited. It seems like an obvious decision to me.

A big part of the fun of mongering for me is hanging out with the guys. I've gone solo before to other destinations, and find it much less fun than having other hombres to share the fun with.

I would agree with Av8tr. Having done the solo trip for most of my life I kind of enjoy having some people around with similar interests. Staying at a "gringo" place doesn't bother me since I have two feet and can always go my own way when I feel like it. Remember that not everyone has the time and inclination to search out a new destination entirely on their own. Add issues like a language barrier or the need to avoid certain areas and it makes perfect sense to take advantage of those who already know their way around.

Serious question for the Mansion vets: If you book a stay there and go out to Fase Dos as a group, does the pseudo-bodyguard guy in the '80's style suit who stands at modified parade-rest inside the club while leaving his sunglasses on and scanning the otherwise empty club, come with the package, or is that extra? I had to ask; it was by far the most odd spectacle I've seen in over 20 years of foreign travel.
