I've heard La Piscina is a better than El Castillo and Atunes, both of which I enjoyed. All three are inexpensive as they are more targeted towards locals and in a more dangerous part of town, but you'll likely be fine as long as you don't wander around the neighborhood. I wouldn't recommend staying in a motel near this area.

On a Sunday afternoon in June I went with my novia to buy cigarettes on the street that La Piscina, El Castillo, and a new club called "The Dollhouse"(?) are on(not Caracas but the side streets). The area around these clubs was full of streetwalkers and short term hotels. I counted over 50 in a four block area before we got our smokes and left.

There are 2 La Piscina clubs, both on the same street & less than a block separates them in Santa Fe zona roja. One the Piscina clubs closes at 8pm I was told by one the chicas there, 25 chicas, several calenas, 50k hr, onsite rm.

The other Piscina club has a small indoor swimming pool w/ a narrow stage/bridge across the width of the pool for the show. Strippers dance on the bridge & poolside, bright spotlight following their moves.

Shows do get nasty & wild, dancers sitting on customerīs face, lesbo sex, dildo action... Old house videos of these performances are played on the widescreen in one of the salas.

40 chicas, several hotties, quote 100k 30min., negotiable to 80k including onsite rm. All the hombresīs eyes were on the big round ass of one particular chica. I wonder if they know those were implants.

Tim3rexes, in Santa Fe the SGs are spread out in a 30-block area, including the zona roja, between K11-K16A & C18-C24. Several hundred SGs of all ages & looks range: old uglies, trannies, glue-inhaling paisas, hot young calenas for 20-25k including rm.

SGs also work on Av Caracas along the Transmilenio bus route in Chapinero. They stand at the corners near the clubs, bars, short-time hotels, casas.

I went to the Piscina, with the pool, in March, and was somewhat underwhelmed. We all know this business is "catch as catch can" so I very well could have just hit it on a slow night--Monday. Went with a buddy, native of Bogota. We paid their $15 USD for a quart of Corona beer, and split. Plenty of better options all over the place in Santa Fe--when I was there.

I saw the girl of my dreams in one place. My head wasn't screwed on right at the time. I should have acted disinterested, instead of interested. What a hooooooot babe. Bogota is a great place and hope to return ASAP.

Hopefully the dollar will be out of the can next time. Really taking a beating down there. Costs equal to US. A cheaper option for me would be drive to Memphis, but then you lose out on the immigration/customs fun...

This place was terrible last Thursday night. It was completely packed with dudes. It had to be 3:1 guys in there. The club itself is fine and the pool area is kinda nice. The girls looked alright I guess but nothing to my liking. Lots of silicone and many of the girls were simply fat. I think beer was about $15k pesos. I did see a streetwalker about a block away from this place who was busy trying to get a customer and I would have to give her about a 9. The body might have even been closer to a ten but I did not get a great look at the face. Neighborhood definitely does not feel very safe. Place closes at 3 am.

I visited La Piscina on a Sunday evening and had a good time. It's a strip club format with constant music and girls dancing on an elevated stage, but all the girls are available for sex. I was told they're open 7 days a week until 3am.

They neighborhood has a rough vibe so taxis are necessary. Upon entering I was frisked for security and assigned a "waiter" aka hustler. The waiter was annoying so I finally gave him a 10,000 peso note and told him I was only interested in watching the ladies dance and he left me alone.

Prices: a one liter bottle of Corona is 20,000 pesos ($10 USD) and a regular size Poker beer is only 8,000 pesos ($4 USD). The good news is that you can buy the liter size Corona and they will leave you alone to watch the girls dance as long as you want; no US style pressure to keep ordering drinks every few minutes.

On a Sunday at 6pm there were about 15 chicas and about the same number of guys. I flagged down a beautiful girl, bought her a beer, and had a conversation. After about 10 minutes she suggested "going upstairs." I offered 50,000 pesos ($25 USD) and she was thrilled. A guy I spoke with told me the locals pay less, but some dumb gringos pay 100K pesos or more. Guys should offer 50,000 pesos and that's all.



Side note; I used the upstairs bathroom used mostly by the working girls, and there was a small mound of cocaine on the sink.

I went to La Piscina last night. The area is pretty bad so it is good to take a taxi to the front door. We were there on a Wed night and there was some nice looking girls there. The door guy brought us to a table and waiters were fighting over us.

The drink menu had a small bottle of vodka for 110k and a small bottle of aguardiente for 80k with a 10 percent service charge added. I think full bottle are double the price of the half bottle. The waiter said they didnīt have beer but when we exited we saw beer at the bar. I guess you could walk straight to the bar and get a beer.

Two girls quoted 120k for 30 minutes at the place. The said all not was normally 400k and said they would go for 300k. One turned down 200k and another accpeted 200k.

The girls waited to you call them over. But once you over them a drink and or smoke they will keep asking even if they arenīt sitting with you.

We went to an after hours club at 0230 hours when La Piscina closed. Most the girls where from La Piscina. There was no cover and the drink prices were almost the same price. It looks like it would be busy one the weekend. It seemed like Electra in Cartagena where the girls went for there last hook up. But there were only 8 or 10 girls there the night we went.

It has been a few years, but the last time I was there the girls were going on-site for 60K. One girl tried to get me for 80K, but I told her that I knew the price is 60. Then she realized I knew the going rate and lowered her price.

So I don't know if the price has gone up, or they went after you because you are foreign.

I ordered a beer at the table and they brought me a giant can of beer that was around the same size as a 40, but I don't recall the brand.

I think they were giving us higher prices but I am not sure if you can get it for 60k now or not. We bought a half bottle of aguardiente for 80k plus 10 percent service charge. That is the price listed on their drink menu. Maybe that is the gringo drink menu.

We went to another club that night and had our bottle and the manager asked how much we paid. He pulled back the sticker and it showed the bottle should have been 65k. So we at least paid 15k more then the locals.

At La Piscina the waiter also said for that main room where we were sitting they only sold heineken and corona which were 15k each. But if you went to the bar they had colombian for sell which I prefer and it is cheaper.

If i do ever return I am going to buy colombian beer and check the price of any bottles by pulling the sticker off. Once again there were a lot of police in the area.

It appeared the majority of the customers were colombian and they were there mostly to drink.
