I've come to conclusion you do what you want to do as far as prices. If you want to pay 1000r for a girl or 20r for a girl, it is no problem with me. Do whatever makes you happy. No one needs to justify anything. They are there to have fun.

Indeed, anyone can do whatever they want to do. No chance of the whore-police sweeping in and giving you a ticket for overpaying. It's not that type of activity. However, the primary purpose of a site like this one is to share experiences and information so that we can all have the best time possible in pursuing this hobby.The unfortunate fact is that how we act does have an effect on others. We can listen to each other and benefit or we can ignore each other and suffer the consequences. This information sharing gives us the opportunity to present a unified front as far as pricing goes and to protect ourselves from ripoffs by not supporting them. Probably the best thing is to simply share one's experiences and let everyone else come to their own conclusions.

I totally agree with you as far as sharing info. Unfortunately Villa Mimosa is not my cup of tea so cannot do any reporting on that one.
I met this gorgeous morena Monica at Centaurus and got great services from her. So for 290R got to fulfill this fantasy. Was it expensive? Hell no, a bargain for me. Could I find same talent at Help or other termas, probably not.
YT and I then headed to a great restaurant in Ipanema costing in the 100R, got the best meal of the year, was it expensive? no very cheap but yes more expensive than going to 10R churrasco buffet.
I later went to Barbarella, keeping turning down garota after garota, for about same price than Centaurus is it expensive? hell yes as no guarantee of a good time.
I am just another hombre and like to report my experiences good or bad as I enjoy reading other hombres reports as well.
If saving dinheiro is high on a hombre's list, not sure Rio is the right place to venture as Thailand is half the cost.

Gotta agree with Athos and Layne. Centaurus is more expensive but has a much better lineup. Which in part compensates for the tacky rooms and lousy management. The garotas are also younger on average than the other termas. I had a ball there and got the girl to visit me the next day and she was fantastic.

The sexo is as good as any other terma at Centaurus but garotas will not much unwind with you after session and will go back to work but you cannot expect garota to spend 4 hours with you every time out.
290R is the most expensive but you get fantasy session, compare to aeroporto 199R with dogs lineup.
The only downside I can see at Centaurus and maybe because garotas are a tad younger, they look very disappointed when you turn them down. But only terma when you come back from session, you already are starting talking with another gorgeous garota you just missed.
Selection is very good but not great. Saw several ex Solarium garotas.
Centaurus does not provide toothbrush to my horror, only Solarium, Luomo, 4X4 so far if i remember correctly.

I went with Athos to Centaurus (I've become well known over at Solarium and one of the girls is stirring up some shit about me so I'm avoiding the place for now - she like all of the girls will be gone before long). I went with an old friend from Solarium (paid 2x what I paid last time back at Solarium ). I had a very good time.

Line up is very good at Centarus but not any better than 4x4, Solarium, or Termas 65 IMHO. For some stupid reason, the current outfit that the girls are wearing at Centaurus is long pants and a half shirt - figures at Centaurus. I hope that they don't start wearing 3 piece business suits soon

Lots of relatively young, thin, B cups with pretty faces in there. I'd highly recommend it for anyone that feels that need to throw some money around (I know - it is an old, over-discussed topic but true).

I went for the 5th time. I can't figure it out but I always manage to pick a dud here. That and the exorbitant prices really irk me. It has seen the last of me.

Centaurus was my first terma. I've read a lot of criticism of the place regarding pricing significantly higher than the norm ($96 US vs $57 US), but I think many agree that the talent level is higher than the rest. Whether the quality is sufficient to justify the price differential is open to debate, but it's a place I would highly recommend visiting at least once on every Rio trip. That said, unless I found 9's and 10's I had to do here on a visit, I probably wouldn't visit more than once considering the talent at the other major termas is still high. My first Brazilian was a gorgeous petite young dance instructor with an incredible eyes and a wonderful smile. She was a solid 9 on my scale. Unfortunately, she had a unique name that I can't recall and she wouldn't allow photos. StayAwayJoe ended up with a blond that I never got to see. He chose her out of frustration when the blond he was waiting for got snatched twice in a row. Apparently, that wasn't one of his best sessions.

Centaurus question for all vets. I did a 3some at C and I had to pay an extra 485R for an hour suite with 2gals on top of the 290R prepaid when arrived. Since I paid with my VISA, they added another 40R so the additional pymt was 525R for a suite on the 4th floor sem jacuzzi. I don't know how they work out the math, but another time I asked them how much was one hr with one garota and the lady told me 470R. Could some vet clarify both cases?

The 2 gals I picked were awesome. One was petite blond named Tatia and the other was a beautiful petite morena/semi mullata who named I couldn't remember. They were going at it without any instructions. The morena had a long orgasmo, but I couldn't serve the blonde. I noticed that Centaurus never phoned or knocked on your suite when your time was up.

815R was a lot to tag 2gals for an hour but it was well worth. I could have gotten 5gals at 4x4 for less than that but time wasn't permitted as we needed to catch our flight. I have done only the cabin at Centaurus but I paid 180R extra for 40 min cabin for 3some. 485R would have to account for 1 full garota and part of 1 garota to go from 40 min to suite.

Youngtom, if they are trying to do that then they are not doing a good job at it. My first time there, the boite was full of gringos, and on my last day, it was even tourist 2 locals.

I know you are bias on the place, but I can't say any bad thing about their services. I was putting on a rob which was close to being a rag from my locker and the lady who sat behind the desk walked out and yell at me..."nao, nao...". She went and got me a brand new rob. What a service ehhh. I was taking a shower, but forgot to grab a tower. I looked up, and there were a new folded tower sitting on my shower door from the tower dude. What a guy ehhhh.

Their selections sucked big time on my first visit and that has resulted my original comment. But it got better and it got really good on my last visit. Any place that got good looking women, I will praise it regardless of the costs. If you only had 2 days in town and wanted to try a terma experience, would you hold on to your wallet and shag garotas at Rio Antigo and Aeropuerto or at 4por4 and Centaurus given their current garota selections? Easy answer after taking in that 32hrs r/t flights.

I like the place because I can afford the extra $30-$50 for 40 minutes with a different babe...as you have noticed the true trophy babes are very difficult to find in Rio. you hit terma after terma and you see most of what is available on your trip...I have spent thousands to travel to Rio so another $30 is no big deal....

I hit Rio on Sep 14th early in the morning. I can't wait to hit a Terma since this is my first trip there. I was planning on doing Centaurus 1st since I hear they have the best looking girls. Just returned from Rio on Aug. 26th, the best blondes i saw in Rio were at 4x4 in centro. Was there on a monday from 4pm till 7pm. Also Luomo had some hot blondes, try Bea, she`s a legend in Rio. Spend a hour with her and you`ll quickly learn how she got her reputation.

Since you arrive on Saturday. I would advise that you hit Centaurus on Saturday and Solarium on Sunday. The reasoning is that Centaurus is not open on Sunday. Sunday, there are really only two choices Solarium and Luomo. You might want to hit both on Sunday.

Then on Monday, go to 4X4. If you like blondes, there are certainly a lot of them there. But I am sure that you will find something to your liking at Centaurus.

I was in Centaurus on Thursday and it was great. About 5-10 Loira stunners and you would be happy.

I was also there yesterday (Saturday)and it was pretty bad, in fact I didn't see any of the same garotas working and the quality was worse than Solarium, 4x4, Luomo or Monte Carlo. Go to Centarus at your own risk. My garota told me that the "regulars" don't work Saturdays but I don't know.

BT makes a good point about planning Sat and Sun well because some of the Termas aren't open either day and all except Solarium and Luomo are closed Sun. Personally after the poor showing at Centaurus, I would try Solarium, Monte Carlo, or Luomo on Saturday (or all 3!) and hit Solarium and Luomo on Sunday. DEFINATELY hit 4x4 on Monday. Lots of talent there.

I was at Luomo today and it was packed from 6 pm on with gringos with the same idea.

Yeah, learned my lesson at Centaurus the hard way...went in and was SEVERELY underwhelmed by the selection, only about 2-3 girls that I would consider doable, and all 3 had really bad attitudes...

Took time to dump her. Went up to the main bar area where most girls were gorgeous - 7-9 quality. What is the address and hours for Termas Centaurus?

Centaurus is located on Rua Canning, 44 in Ipanema, 3 min taxi ride from Help or less than 10 min walking. Open Mon to Sat after 16:00.

Long walk from Help. While you can do it after dark, I would not recommend it. I have done the walk to Centarus after dark, and then back to the hotel. I would not do it again for any amount of money. From Help, it should not for more then $R3 - $R5. Not worth the risk of walking after dark.

I walked from the Debret to Centaurus during the day and I felt safe. It took about 10-15 min. I would agree it's probably best to take a taxi at night. I walked back one night because I couldn't get a taxi right away and it was raining. I never felt unsafe, but I'd still recommend anybody take a cab at night unless you're only walking a block or over to Help.

There is an enormous favela that sits up there on that ridge that separates Ipanema from Copacabana. I've walked from Centaurus back to the Help area at night as well but (given that favela up there) I'm never going to feel safe around there. Taking a cab is a very good idea.

This place has best looking talent bar none at the present time...I will spend $75 any day of the week do go in here...yeah 4x4 is only $34 and has my present fav..but overall centaurus has some stunners right now...and I have yet to have a bad session here...just test them guys before you go because there are some in here like all other places that wont do everything you want them to...

I walked back at night with no problems a couple of times this trip.. nice neighborhoods but since the taxis are so cheap why walk unless you are on cloud nine...

Taking a taxi is not an issue but I am an early bird so like to walk going to then use taxi going back. Help to Centaurus is less than 4 Reals or about $1 and change.

Layne is correct. My buddy introduced me to a girl who worked in Centaraus and she didn't do everything in the room. In fact she didnt do some things which I considered basic, like oral sex and kissing. She was a gorgeous mulatta with a body that was incredible, but she told me that she doesn't kiss her clients and she doesn't give head!! No wonder she only lasted 3 months:-)
