Las Cucardas is located in Callao. It is what I’ll call a bargain brothel. The neighborhood and the local don’t look very safe from the street, but once inside you will feel more comfortable. Entrance fee is 15 soles (about 3.5 soles to 1 US$) for 30 minutes, extendable in 30 minute increments for 10 soles. For this you get to walk around have a beer and check out what is available. Girls stand in the doorways of the rooms they work. Cost is 35 to 40 soles per release. I would equate the female quality to that of Mexico City MP. Take note; take a cab door to door. The area your in and have to go thru is not all that safe. Might want to use the metered or trusted taxi. Might be overreacting a little, but if you're an obvious gringo might not want to try the cab ride alone. Locals have been known to force their way into the cab. My information, this is the only legal brothel in Lima. Once your inside I'm certain you'll be safe. Security and they surely won't put up with anything.

Entry fee is 15 soles ($5.50 Americam) With this you also get a condom. Security gave my buddy a good search, but didn't bother me. No cameras allowed, not sure what would happen if they caught you with one. Security directs you to the right, quick left and up a long hall to the bar/dance floor area. Beer, only Pilesen 10 soles. Expensive for the bars I had been in. 10 or 12 rooms were on each side of the hall. Girls stand in the doorways, waiting to be chosen. At first I was disappointed. The number of guys led me to believe these girls were going to be real busy. Eventually seems the many locals show up to watch the floor show wonder around and look at the girls, nothing more. The floorshow was upscale. Most had custom made outfits, guys dancing with them and chorographer well. Some went fully nude, some topless and some never removed any clothes. Looked like another hall closer to the dance floor. Wondered up short hall 2 rooms, turned left and felt much better. The place is setup in a rectangle. Another long hall. Las Cucards is open every day, Sunday-Thursday 9AM to 1AM and Fridays & Saturdays 9AM to 3AM. As you enter, there is a small room with various sofas & chairs and a bar in the center (think of a 70's style lounge bar). There are shows performed sporadically in three places: a small stage at one end of the room, semi-private shows that take place in one of the sofa groups or simply bar-walking.

One important tip is to nog go in the middle of the day, that is, between 5PM and 7PM, since at that time they change shifts so half the girls are leaving and don't really care about service and the other half have just arrived and aren't in a good (read: buzzed) mood yet. The youngest girls (18 - 28) are there before 6PM, presumably since they study and need to go to classes at night, though investigation shows most of them live at home and have their parents convinced they are "at work" at that time...in that sense, the day girls usually require a hotel or room at the establishment, most don't have their own apartment.

Entrance fee is 15 soles (~$4.50) and they DO check IDs if you're dark-skinned, if you're white, you could be 12 and they'll let you in. The fee covers entrance and one service, for additional girls, the cost is 8 soles (~$2.30), all valid for the same day, overnighters are not allowed.

The girls nominally charge peruvians around 40 soles (~$11.60) for regular service and charge between 15 (~$4.50) and 25 (~$7.25) more for anal and the like. For foreigners (they can tell by your accent & clothes; also, most of the time, the bouncers identify you as a foreigner) they can quote up to $100; the best way is to get a competition going between two or more girls, that'll usually bring the price down.

Beer costs 10 soles (~$2.90) and tall drinks are 20 (~$5.80). There are larger shows on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 8PM.

Lately, this place has gone international, with girls from Ecuador, Chile, Bolivia, Colombia and Argentina. I'm told that soon they'll have a lot of girls from Brazil. There are around 50-60 girls working at any one time.

Las Cucardas is NOT located in Callao, but in the Lima district adjacent to it. Even taxi drivers may mistakenly think it's Callao because it's close, but if your taxi driver is unsure of the location, he may double back before properly crossing into Lima to get there. This mistake would also throw you off when consulting the Lima 2000 map, which correctly lists Ricardo Trenemann as sector A02 on page 507 in the Lima district.

The distinction is also important because of the change in block numbers from Callao to Lima. From Callao, you'll need to travel east on Argentina or Oscar Benadvides (Av. Colonial in the Lima Guide) while the block numbers INCREASE before passing into Lima where they start descreasing again until you hit block 9.

Las Cucardas will be on Ricardo Trenemann between the 10th and 9th blocks, south of Argentina and north of Oscar Benavides on the east side of the street. It may be better to remember or note the cross street as Argentina since the proper name of the other street is not completely clear. (Both Colonial and Benavides from Lima 2000)

Kind of late for this entry, but, would just add that Vladimir is totally right. the Cucardas is in lima not callao. you could take public transportation and get off on av. Argentina, between the 9th-10th block, but absolutely not recommended for the simple reason the area is very spooky. just take a taxi and it will be ok. usually i would just take a taxi once in downtown Lima and it would only be like S/. 3.50-5= not bad. it took me a few days to orient myself and grasp how things are down here but after it, it was smooth sailing!!!. also, going out of this place, do yourself a big favor and take a taxi, always one outside and it doesn't cost much. it can take you anywhere in town and worth your safety.///

During my last and first trip to Peru and lima, i went to las cucardas like 4-5 times while i was in town. i enjoyed this place a lot. they have a continuous show done by the girls working there and it quiet nice set up!!!. had a few good times with a Colombian girl named Alejandra (awesome body), also i noticed i saw girls frpm Colombia and Ecuador and not bad looking. think i would just come here and not go to El trocadero, here is safer and security is ok. entrance fee is S/.15 (gives you adrink voucher), and girls charge S/.30 dayshift and S/.40 nightshift. just don't go around 6 pm, which, is the time they change shifts. great place and very clean and confortable. no problems getting a taxi as you leave the place and security keeps an eye all around.///

I've been to Las Cucardas 5 times now, once at night and the others during the day. I really enjoy it as a day time option. Plenty of girls, not many customers, and the price is abit lower. For the summer 30sol daytime 40sol at night.
4:30 - 5:30 is shift change. Personally I'd give it a miss. The dayime shift changes clothes and tally's out, the night time shift changes their rooms around and puts on working clothes. Basically nothing happening except more and more guys keep coming in and then there is a sudden rush for the more popular girls once they are finally ready to start working. Also you end up in rush hour traffic if you leave between 5 and 7.
Great value here. I always let the girls know that I want the blowjob to be sin condom and that I will want to do anal. Sometimes they're not into it, but usually it just costs an extra 10 or 20sol, occasionally you find one who won't even charge extra. It is a great setup because the girls know that if they don't get your business then the girl next door will.
I highly recomend this place, good selection, great value, and no gringo surcharge tacked on.

Update:Endevor1 has stated the prices which are ONLY in effect because of a ¨promocion¨....(and these were orig prices until mid yr last yr when they raised them to 40S and 50S, no guess as to how long they will remain at old price. Took full advantage and did 2 at 40S and some really hot girls came in second shift (5pm) and waited and did another (Columbian) for 50S. With taxi and 3 girls and 2 drinks I spent 175Soles or $60USD. There were 3 more I wanted but.............

Lots of good detailed information/advice here and still valid.

Current prices are: S/20 cover. S/40 during the day. S/50 during the night. The length of the session can vary quite a bit since it appears most girls are timing it themselves.

Quality of the girls varies quite a bit, but for people familiar with Scarlet, I would say they are similar on average. Scarlet occasionally has 1 or 2 girls who look quite good, but they usually charge much higher prices as well.

Hmm...I've seen between 5 to maybe 20 girls working at a time. Varies depending on the time of the day and the day of the week. Much busier at night. I would say the quality of the girls seems the same during the night versus the day.

Most of the girls have the typical latina body (normal weight, nice big butt, smallish breasts). There are usually a few of the tiny Peruvian girls working too (5 feet or shorter, skinny build). If you want tall and slender, you won't find them in Peru (hmm...rarely at the top end clubs where some girls have a more european mix).

Anyways, if you don't mind slumming it, this is a pretty good place to go. Surprisingly, every single girl I've encountered at this place had a great attitude.

Oh, make sure you take a taxi to and from the entrance of the club. During the daytime, it's not bad, but during the night, you're asking to be mugged if you walk the streets.

Went here today to check it out. Cover is S/25 and is clearly posted at the ticket booth. I find the whole experience a little bureaucratic with tickets given to the guy who is right next to the ticket booth, and then a ticket for the girl you end up choosing. As stated above, lots of different types of girls to choose from. Most of them 7-8s in my book, and some 9s. I went with an 8+ girl from Guayaquil with an amazing face and body named "Vicky". Amazingly enough, great service given. After the deed, I watched the Spain/Chile match with some other dudes by the bar.

Even though the part right by the chongo is kinda scary looking, the neighborhood isn't actually that bad. Its right by La Cachina which is where a bunch of locals buy clothes, shoes and other stuff. Lots of really good camping and climbing gear can bought here too, which drew me in. In fact, if a taxi driver doesn't know where this place is, which is about half the drivers I asked, you could asked for La Cachina and practically all of them knew where that is.

Through extreme risk of bodily harm to myself, I managed to sneak in a picture of inside one of the rooms of Curcadas. I even got the infamous dick washing pan in the shot.

I was here on a recent visit for the first time in a year. A lot of remodeling work has been done. The entire entrance area has been changed. There is a new larger bar near where the old bar was located in the back. A new nicer seating area has been created near the bar. There is also a much larger new stage to the side of the new bar. The hallways also have been remodeled. The rooms appear to be pretty much the same as I remember them.

The entrance fee is now 27 soles. It still includes a drink coupon and condom. I was here on a Saturday in the late afternoon/early evening. I caught the day/night chica shift change. This occurs between 6 PM and 7 PM. This draws a pretty large crowd (at least on Saturday)since you get a good look at the talent from both shifts. At this particular time, I thought the night talent was a little better.
