I stopped by on two occasions but only entered once. There are no signs and no one guarding the entrance, and neither time did I see anyone walk in or out. The first visit was in the day and the second was in the evening, at least in the evening I was able to hear some music. After ringing the bell, the gentlemen appeared hesitant to let me in, looking at me more like I was lost, but he stepped out of the way when I asked about the ladies. I was led upstairs and given a drink which I paid $2 or $3 dollars for.
The interior looks more like a nice bachelor pad with a small bar than a brothel. There were several ladies, a couple with other customers. Some of the men were in business attire, but the quality of the ladies was not at all impressive. It could have just been bad timing, but I didn't see anyone I was interested in. I drank and watched part of a Jackie Chan movie on the tube before leaving.
Despite the lack of talent, I'd like to check this place out again. Based on the clientele, I suspect 557 might be better than my initial impression.
