Wow, those rates are a total rip off for Cali.

Went to Escoces last night. I went around 3am and it was hard to get in. The door guy did not want too many guys in there. I was by myself and was able to get in. It was a 10000k cover and a small bottle of aquadente was 35000k. There were quite a few girls there. You can seat with the girls and dance with them also. There a booths everywhere you can seat.

There is only hard liqour there. There is not any beer. I gave a girl 200000k who came home with me and stayed a while. I am sure I could of paid less. A guy working there spoke some english.

It is close to the Hotel Intercontinental and the Dann Carlton. I just had the taxi driver drop me off at the Hotel Intercontinental and walked to Escoces.

Escoces is a short cab ride from Avienda Sexta and Granada.

It is a good option after 2am. All the bars close at 2am in Cali on friday and saturday night. You have to go to Menga or Juanchito if you want to go to a normal bar after 2am.

I never wait nor pay cover in el escoses and the older gentleman you spoke to who speaks english. His name is TIO. If the chick likes you and doest have any other clients or just want to get out of there and dance somewhere you can get TLN for 100k but only the skilled monger will know how to finesse this.

So 100k for all night is a good rate? i have been there before and got right in. They turned away 5 colombian guys last night. They looked like they had money but they left.

I always took them home. That is a great place to drink and interact with the girls. It is pretty small and normally has a good selection. The casino is around the corner if you like to gamble. Most the girls are not taken home so you can make a deal with them.

If it's 300K for an hour, what kind of deal can you make taking them home?

i paid 200,000 for all night. if forget what we paid for the exit fee. sometimes we called them on a different night. i think we could of paid less then 200,000 but i always gave them that amount. on two trips we stayed right by escoses in an apartment and there was a group of us.

on the other trips we were around a 10 minute cab ride to escoses. if we had them meet us away from the club we paid them 200,000 for the night. one night we took a group of them to eat, then went to juanchito , then took them all to the apartment.

Staying at the Intercontinental so this place couldn't be more conveniently located. Walk out the front door and it's about a block on the left with a huge neon sign.

No cover. Walked in at 10pm and there were 9 girls in there and 2 guys. I wouldn't have given any one of them a second look in Rio. An older (late 20's?) looking brunette started chatting me up, and I really needed to get the poison out so I went with it.

250k for an hour including the room plus she wanted 50k more for bbbj. From previous reports I was prepared to pay 300k anyway so fuck it. She was decent but nothing to write home about.

Total tab 318k. 18k for the whiskey.

On the other hand 60K and 100K for a half or an hour in a room - including the chica - would be no more than the other clubs that are not nearly as nicely appointed.

Escoces was my first stop on my Cali trip last month. I'm usually good with maps, but I had trouble finding this place at first. The easiest way to find it is to simply walk about two blocks to the right if you're facing the front entrance of the Dann Carlton.

The club is fairly small and somewhat dark. Most ladies were dressed in white lingerie which glowed under the club's black lighting. There were probably around 20 ladies available with a good number that were attractive. I was impressed with the talent.

There was no cover. My rum and coke was 18k, and drinks I bought for Julie were 20k each.

The total I paid for 30 minutes with Julie was 200k. She expressed a willingness to come down in her fee, but I had a really good time with her and ended up paying her the full amount.

I would have been happy to return, but there were so many places I wanted to visit in my short time there that I didn't have the chance, but Escoces will definitely be a place I visit in the future.
