It should be clear to those of you that read, in another forum section, my question about whether it would be worth paying $450 for a one-way ticket to Cali - or just change my itinerary to just return from PTY.

The answer is a RESOUNDING YES!!!

Unlike in Panama, it wasn't hard for me to find some very decent Colombianas - that weren't Ice Princesses - and two GREAT ones.

Sure there were more than a few that didn't appeal but each night I found something to my liking.

I think all my Calenas were willing to go BBBJ for a 20K tip (if it wasn't automatic, which it was in half the cases I think), although I had one or two in Medellin turn it down.

There's a fairly big sex shop several blocks from the Hotel Cali Plaza. Exit the hotel and turn right crossing the street. Round trip taxi fare and the 90K Multa would add 110K to the overall price I figured. Taliana said she'd come to my hotel - but expected me to get the taxi. She pulled up and just 10K was on the meter - so she saved me 10K there. Better still, she didn't mention the 90K Multa - and neither did I. I guess she told the management she was going home for a few days.

Really I think 100K could entice Jimena to your bed for the night. Remember she makes just 33K for each session at la Clinica. Dinner out and 100K for a round of sex and some cuddling would probably sound alright to her.

Ultimately I decided I was too tired to have two hotties in my bed. If there'd be some girl-on-girl action then I'd have called her over for sure. The trouble with that is that, while Jimena says she likes girls, Taliana doesn't. In fact Taliana admitted to me that she doesn't really like sex; has never had an orgasm. I remember fondly my visit to Cali in '07. I was told during my trip that many years ago, Cali was the big destination for mongers and the marriage/dating agencies before the internet made them obsolete.

Today, Cali is more like the "sleeper hit" for Colombia mongering, it doesn't get the attention that MDE does I think because the security and infrastructure is more user-friendly in Medellin, plus the point-and-click venues like the Mansion (or Casa Blanca or whatever it's called now) and New Life help keep it the first choice for gringos with little Spanish and little experience traveling to Latin America.

But I wouldn't knock Cali. First of all, the Cali area has more people than Medellin does; and the cale?as have their own distinct beauty and appeal compared to the paisas of Medellin and that whole Antioquia region. The women of the Valle region where Cali is I'd say tend to be a bit warmer/friendly or less "stuck-up" than some paisas can be.

More importantly, while there has been some inflation, it's no where near as bad as in Rio, Sao Paulo, Bogota, and other popular South American monger destinations.

Jimena even at the higher tier prices is a bargain compared to Rio; a two hour session at Clinica with anyone like her is a no-brainer! TLNs for 150-200k is a fantastic deal for the year 2012 even at the current lousy exchange rate (it was 2250 to the dollar when I went).

It looks like the Cali economy has been left behind compared to MDE, Bogota, Rio, SP, et al, but that can be seen as a good point as long as you have some savvy in terms of staying safe. I've heard some scary stories about Cali, but I think as long as you use common sense, follow basic precautions, listen to your sixth sense when it warns you, you'll be okay.

Just keep in mind there's an "incident" or bombing in the city every year or so, so keep away from police stations and any major public buildings as a precaution. Not saying that to scare people away, just to be aware. Cali is close to where the cartels and the guerrillas are hiding and they like to "send a message" every now and then.

So Cali is more for a DIY type of person, and someone with moderate (preferably fluent) spanish skills. It can get really hot during the peak hours, but the evenings are almost always cool (unlike Cartagena which can still be stifling even late at night and even though the ocean is just a few miles away). And if you're into the salsa thing then Cali is for you although their "pachanga" or "boogaloo" style is different than the New York "on 2" or Cuban styles, you can adapt as the basic moves are pretty much universal and no one expects an older gringo to be a great salsa dancer anyway, lol!

So don't take it personally if you get stood up. Always have a back up plan, and use the natural impulsiveness of these girls to your advantage, always ask if they can hang out with you tonight or after work but I would almost never bother about setting plans for tomorrow ("ma?ana"). It's better to just call these chicas and ask if they can drop by in a couple of hours.

La Officina might not have presented you with anything you liked, but I had a real hottie there, following a recommendation by Infanticide. Angel was one of the several girls that make me remember Cali as a place with particularly good-looking, top-performing girls. Of course, the smaller places may be hit-or-miss at any given time.

Actually I went for a three hour session with Jimena - though not until my second time with her. I can't imagine why I didn't extend my first time with her to two hours - at least! Maybe I was afraid of having a heart attack.

Regarding the danger factor of Cali there's no way for me to put it into context and compare it to Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and other parts of Colombia.

For those of you that have been to the (beloved) Termas of Rio note that, in all cases, the four or five different rooms I was in were all much larger than the typical Termas cabina. Also, being a daytime venue, lighting was never a problem. The only negative to all of the rooms is the cold shower. Just wash junior in the sink though - it's easier and saves time. Besides, the tablecloth type "towel," they give you isn't really absorbent enough for a full body drying.

That reminds me... for an extra 2K you can have another such towel. The nice thing about them is that they're disposable - so you know you're not using a towel that wasn't actually washed but just dried.

I've been to Rio four times I think. If everything were equal - price of food, apartments/hotels, and - most importantly - girls, I'd choose Rio hands down. While I'm not a beach guy the atmosphere in the Copacabana Beach area is great - and it's curved so you can see all along it's three or four mile length. It's really beautiful.

While I do prefer white girls - Monica Bellucci in her 30s being pretty much the perfect woman - I often choose lightly colored girls and sometimes black ones.

For me the face is the most important physical feature. Lots of girls have nice figures but without a great face I'd usually pass them up. The exception would be if they were fun to talk to and seemed to have a great attitude - and were passably pretty.

Speaking of figures... if you saw the pictures of Jimena, well, she's got exactly the kind I like. Wide hips and a narrow waist and - wonder of wonders - natural C size tetas.

Comparing the passion of Rio girls to Colombianas (IN Colombia) I'd say that, when you find the right girl, they can be equal - but I suppose that can be said about any place.

They've rooms too but I never saw one. I paid their modest exit fee, well past midnight, and took the girls to my hotel.

Apart from a cutie I pulled out of the American(?) Bar all my bed warmers came from Flores Frescas.

I think I paid about 150K for most, all night, but couldn't swear to it. For sure not over 200K - and prices don't seem to have risen much in Colombia since '08. If only the same could be said for Rio eh guys?

From my small sampling in Cali I'd say you're more likely to get passionate GFE - even PSE - performance there - as compared to Medellin. Remember though that my sampling was very small - and Jimena was from Medellin!
