Before one can vote on the movie Oscars, the Academy is supposed to provide opportunities for the "members" to familiarize themselves with each nomination, in the case of movies by viewing them.

Would someone please box up Bia, Ohanna, and Cindy so they can be delivered to my doorstep (or bedroom) so that I can be similarly fully-informed when I vote?

Actually, having already experienced Bia (there should be an Oscar for any Brazil monger who hasn't experienced Bia, since he would be truly unique) I'll settle for Ohanna and Cindy.

I neglected to include the rather obvious caveat that Bwana is no longer eligible for this award because his recent travels have disqualified him from status as a Brazil monger. We are talking about Bia from Brasil, not Bia from the Philippines, or god knows where!

My travels outside Brazil are done solely for scientific purposes...to recalibrate my P4P rating scale. I am, first and foremost, a Brazilianist. Bwana: You'd be surprised how many days I've spent in Brasil. One of my big fears a few years in a row was whether Brasilian immigration actually had the computer power to know when someone stayed longer than 180 days in a year (I knew they would be unlikely to count all the days by looking at the numerous stamps).

That said, you busted me on Tulip. However, the Tulip girls do qualify as quasi-Brasileiras and so I think I'm absolved.

Alas, I am eligible for the Brazil Mongers Haven't Done Bia Award. I didn't want to confess this in previous discussions that posited that anyone who had spent any time in the termas had done Bia, because there was no actual Award involved.

And I believe the Tulip girls are actually Brasileiras who were victims of drug injections gone wrong that were supposed to enlarge their asses and thighs, but instead slanted their eyes. They certainly perform like termas garotas. So Laguy IS absolved (although of what, I'm not sure).
