I think someone posted a trip report about going to that bar known as the Green Door and Olimpico.

I ventured back to Algodones last weekend. The bar is called Bar Olympico....but is also refered to as the Green Door. Beleive it or not, I had the best Mongering experience of my life there. I showed up about 2:30pm and there were a few girls working. I had picked few out but then I met up with an American from Yuma. He is an active Military doctor and a major monger who speaks impecable spanish. We sat a talked for a couple of hours and then these two girls walked in the bar. He proceeded to tell me that they were new and not from around the area because he has had every bargirl in algoadones twice! To make a long story short, before he left he set me up with the both of them for one hour for a 100.00US. It was the best I have ever had and I know I will probably never top it!

What did they look like and where did you get the room? I hope they're there often on the weekends because I visit san luis once in a while. I have been there only twice in the last two years so that is all I can offer. The girls descriptions are as follows: the first was about 5'5" tall and weighed about 140 or so....she was a little thick but in all the right places with a beautiful and natural d chest. What up Milk, I will try to be as concise as possible. The girls actually said that they were from WOW WOW but I presume that it is spelled Guaw Guaw. I paid 50 per chica and it was understood before we went to the room that they had to engage each other. I gave them half before we started and the other half upon completion. I thought that this might encourage some bonafide Lesbian action. **THIS IS A COPY OF THE TRIP REPORT DONE BY ME BACK IN JUNE OF 2002**
Algondones ( been told it means "cotton" in spanish, US locals call it the "land of cotton") is about 5 miles outside of Yuma, AZ. It's a small tourist town that REALLY caters to the snowbirds (PC would be winter visitors). During the winter the place is packed all over, cheap liquor, cheap cigarettes, and cheap mexican wares can be found everywhere. You can find fake oakleys, raybans, and rolexes for CHEAP. Park on the US side at the parking lot, it's $3.00 I think, but it is guarded. But enough about that, let's talk about the action. There is really one place in the entire town, Bar Olympico. Walk across the border straight ahead. Cross the street, still going straight. You;ll see double green doors, that's it. The locals in the US call it the Green Door. Girls range from 2 to 8s at best. BECAREFUL! Everyonce in a while they have a he/she in the bar. If you ask the bartenders, they'll tell you who has the extra plumbing. Girls will go "upstairs" (the hotel is right next door) for $40 to $60 without barfine (at least when I went there last). At one time, they used to have girls dance nude on Fridays and Saturdays. The whores will dance nude for you, the fit ones anyway, but it'll set you back about $20 a song. No thanks. The domestics (Pacifico, Corona, and Tecate) run about $2.00 and the "imports" (BUD, BUD Light) run about $3- $3.75. The room goes for $10.00 buck for half an hour. Last time I went, it was about 45 minutes and no knock on the door. BUT, it's a tiny room, old mattress and just a fan. For those that have been in the area during the summer, you know a fan is not worth a damn. That's pretty much it, for worthwhile mongering. The other bars that have a whore or two are local women (big butts, big thighs, and big stomachs). To get to those, at the first intersection take a right and go straight til you get to the next intersection. You'll see two bars right across the street and if you take a left at the intersection, you'll see Bar Hawaii. The place had potential about a year ago, but they need to get some new women. I have no real information on that bar, so you'll have to make due on your own.

Quick note, almost everyone speaks english and take US$$. Liquor is REALLY CHEAP, better deals than those "duty free" and all in TJ, just remember you can only bring across 1 litre per person.. I think. Oh yeah, pharmecuticals are really cheap too. For example, a bottle of Ibuprophen 800MG 100 tablets will run $8-$10, that cheap. I like it in Algondones, it's fun, clean for the most part, and safe too (except for those storeowners, they'll try to take every dime you have).

PS> This is REALLY impotant, ask when the border closes. If they lock the gates while yo uare in Algodones you are either trapped or you can get a cab to San Luis, but that's a shitload of cash and you'd still have to get your car on the US side.

A clarification: those hotels "Miami" and "Granada", are they in Algondones? Are there reasonable hotels in Algodones?

Miami and Granada are reasonable, in Nogales. Doesnt hurt to ask to see the room anywhere.

There is the Olympico hotel next to the Olympico Bar. Just ok. Not many hotels in Algondones. The Olympico bar is best for girls. Many gringos. Border closes at 10:00 pm PST. Open at 6:00 am. Strip shoe on Friday , Saturday and Sunday. VERY small town. $50. a pop.

The Green Door, in Algodones, Mexico, is a clean and safe "Cantina." You park your car at the Indian Res at the border where it costs only 3 bucks. Walk across the border and the Green Door is 2 blocks up the street.
The place is a nice bar, and the number and types of women there is depending on the hour of the day (open from 2PM to 2:30 AM). They lounge around and will not approach you; the place is a brthel but it's also a bar and gringo wives are welcome, and won't be bothered. But, if you want a woman, all you need to do is smile and motion, and she'll join you.
I didn't have any when I was there but enjoyed watching the scene and learning how it works. The fee is 50 bucks for a lady to take you "upstairs." And if you pay one maybe 20 (negotiate) you can get a nude table dance and maybe more innthe bar.
It's a fine place.
Algodones is next door to Yuma. While you're there you can also get discount glasses, meds, dentistry, or even plastic surgery. It's a full service town, and full of Americans getting medical care they can't afford at home....

well guys at work have been tellin me to revisit algadones and see what the climate is like. so i did and hope to share some info with u.

went 2x in one day first time was mid day exactly 12 noon. alot of parttimers if u look. mostly back by the park. they arent obvious like mexicali but they are there. i say bout 5 or so. did my wave and pulled over for two of em and casually brought them in with conservation. it appears they are from outlying towns...money is thin and well they need it too.

second is the infamous (yuma famous) green door or olymipico bar. at the noon visit there were 10 -14 girls there and the quality was average mostly 6-8s. i after a few minutes (time was limited) took the white girl up to the room she or they quote 60-80 bucks for 1/2 hour plus room. negotiate it..i got mine for 35 plus room she was a good romp and got the finger in the bd very polite and just nice. i was in a hurry and she accomidated.

i returned about 2100 hours and found the club nearly full yea full and the border about to close. at 2140 hours all the yuman peps leave. there was a delay for bout 25 minutes and the show started again. now all the girls that were ther earlier in the day are now buzzed or drunk. fun for me...muuhhaawww. i usually dont buy drinks for them but took up two seperate girls. first was 22 and looked all of 17...wow hard body. i was not to hook up tonigh but wanted to see the waters. second was a lil older but was easy to see she was a gf experience...watiing to happen. show was good while i spoke with both chikas..i enjoyed myself this time too. drinks not too bad...price wise...just keep in mind the border closes at 2200 hours or 10pm. ..

Kiryuz, I appreciate your reports from Mexicali and the other smaller locations. I'm hoping for a border town tour in late fall or early winter. I have fantasies about being in Mexican chica bars where nobody knows me.

Your earlier report on Green Door is real discouraging though. You get away from the Tier 1 locations like TJ and you expect to get more "love" inside the bar not less than you would in TJ. If I ran into any amount of that "I only fuck" attitude I'd be home early and on to the next town.

erip, i am planning on moving to yuma in the near future.. will attempt to give a trip report in a few months.

quick update on algodones.. checked it out this week, its about a 10 minute drive from yuma...
Green Door was open, pretty good selection of ladies, they offer 30 min of service from $60-$80 and the rooms are $15.. Interesting note.. when you go to the room, you have to give the room manager upstairs the money upfront.. kinda odd, never had to do that in TJ or Nogi.. Got a pretty good deal with Olivia , chucky chica, 24 years old, for $60 and $15 for room.. good service nothing rushed.. rooms are like the basic TJ rooms that the SGs use..
The atmosphere in the bar is mixed, .. locals, retirees and young kids from yuma (under 21) having a good time..
Side note.. Caliente is right down the street from green door.. They even have a bar in Caliente as well.
Overall a pretty good experience. Beats driving 2.5 hours to TJ or Nogi..

sundays and thursdays at hawaii bar and green door are CLUB NIGHTS... Most of the young yuma teens go down on those nights and party... Not a lot of bar girl action.. Many of the working ladies seem to disappear on sundays and thursdays...

So the only good reason to head to Algodones is for the bar and chickas and more than likely there will be girls from Mexicali there? Though i am a little bit stuck on why the dancers from Mexicali would go there to dance, is it due to more money and less sex than in Mexicali?

Most of the girls I have met there that are from Mexicali choose that option versus risking family or friends discovering there occupation, should they risk working in Mexicali.

Happyboy ended up traveling with me to Algodones, we arrived at the border around 3:30 Friday afternoon. Went to the Green Door first and the selection wasn't as good as last month. 2-3 doable girls I saw in the first 30 minutes. But then Happyboy tracked down a friend and hooked me up for an hour upstairs. $30 for the room and $100 for her. I wished I took a camera, Ruby is a fine 21 yro from Mexico City. The selection of girls was on par of Lord Blacks in its prime. 6-8 excellent girls to section with. Happyboy and I called 2 of them over to find out the deal. There are apartments upstairs above the bar, they are available for $20 an hour. Not sure who lives in them, but someone does. The girls deal with the customer directly, the bar doesn't seem to get a cut of anything. My girl asked for $80 for an hour total. Since it had only been an hour since Ruby at Green Door, I declined but offered to buy her drinks for awhile. She stayed with me while we watched a few dancers.
