Stopped by last Tuesday for some 2 for 1 dances but the place was dead. Maybe about 5-7 girls working. Whatever happened to this place? This used to be my favorite place to go on weeknights.

I was at Lipsticks Saturday night for a while. Seems like the best bang for your buck in town, although they don't have the selection of Lord Black or Placer's. (I didn't make it to Rio.)

On the other hand, my last trip there was on a Sunday, and it was dead as Jimmy Hoffa.

Cardinal: I'm sorry I couldn't get to Nogales this past weekend to meet you. I hope you will post another trip report. Is it likely your photography will get you back for another Nogales trip?

Actually, yes!

The Phoenix photo shoots I attend happen pretty regularly the first Sunday of the month. (This month it was delayed one week because of a scheduling conflict.)

On the other hand, there's still some debate about whether the shoots will stay on that schedule during the summer months when it's HOT HOT HOT!

But at the least, I plan to be back in Nogie the weekend of May 4/5.

Cardinal: I'd be interested to see those hot sweaty chicas. I am supposed to go to a wedding on 5/4, but I might be able to get to Nogales afterward. It sounds like you must be enjoying Nogales, to be making the drive.

Well, since it's already a 700-mile round trip to get to Phoenix, another 300 miles to add a leg to Nogie isn't SO bad...

did a lipstick run last night to find one of justdans friends, man that place was dead... It looks like many of the Cherrys hotties-- Alondra, Abigal, Leslie, Dinora---dont work at Lipsticks at night..very interesting....

Yeah, don't know what's up with that place. Used to be, along with Placers, THE place to go. Strange that las chicas from Cherry's don't work there afterwards anymore (or some of them). Maybe it's because bidness sucks there, or maybe because of that pinche manager...

I went there Tuesday a week ago and enjoyed a private with Abigail, who is still great. Alondra was there too. Overall, however, they really had slim pickins. Placers seems best right now, with Rio and Lord Black second and third. Cherries runs hot and cold, but may still be the best bet if you are too early.

Anyone see Alondra at Lipsticks Saturday?

Anybody know if Azul or Laura work at Lipsticks now? They've both been MIA from Lord Black last few weeks. Thx - MrB

Stopped by on Tuesday night around 12:30 and the place was dead. Saw maybe 4-6 girls. There might have been more upstairs but I doubt it. This place used to be good on Tuesdays 2-1 but not anymore. Too bad.

Anybody else remember Lipstick before it was a TD's bar? I was there about 8 years ago and it was a dance club. Kind of strange looking back now. I like it much better currently. I used to also love La Cava bar just South of Placers. This place looks like it burned down. I wonder if the downstairs is still intact? They should reopen it.

I remember going to La Cava/La Caverna Bar and Restaurant almost 25 years ago. They had picures over the bar of some pretty famous movie stars that came to the resturant in the 30;s 40's and 50's when a lot of westerns were made in Tucson and SE Arizona.
I remember the Duke, Humphrey Bogart and Ward Bond to name a few.

I think after a few suspicious fires, the place was closed down in the late 70's early 80's..I think. After all it was just a big cave, but it was always cool.

I remeber hitting a few bars where lipstick is now. We were quite drunk at the time though.
I like it much better now : ) But i kinda miss the "Cave"

The cave shutdown after a shooting. I think I was walking by the night it happened. The time before we got into a brawl with some Mexican assholes. We were beating their ass when security dragged them outside and beat them with bats. It all started when they were trying to grope are female companions. The only thing that happpened to me was my watch flew off in the mele.

Lipstick was Harlow's, a dico for sure.
Cherry's was Mr. Cherry's Organ Bar, another disco.
Lord Black was La Posta, a nice restuarant with dancing in the Northeast corner of the building, dinning room was upstairs. The bar was where the stange is now.
Just South of the casino, in the gray odd shaped building for of the high rise was La Casa de Jason, another disco.
I've dated myself now.

Why do you think people stopped going to these bars? Do you think it was because the others popped up?? It seems like everything on the bad side of the tracks closed down at the same time.

There is alot of shit that happens down there. I don't think that was anything new. Point well taken though.

La Caverna burned in the mid 80's. The old bar was a classic walk into the 1930's and the restaurant was up a few steps in the back and had the bare earth wall from which the restaurant got its name. The floors were hardwood planking. It seemed to be the favorite of Nogales citizens for family celebrations and the like. The food was carried over to the present El Cid, owned by the same family. They serve a few unsual items like turtle soup, seet breads and scallop ceviche that are very good. You can still look in the windows and see the burned out interior. The street was more respectable in those days, as I recall. However, I dont recall our present pleasures being so readily available then.

Neighborhoods typically need to turn to shit so nobody will object to the strip clubs.

In reality, only 5-6 years ago, I believe, there was only Ferni's Strip Club on that side of the tracks. There was one or two other bars that offered occasional strippers/adult entertainment, but none modeled after US strip Clubs. Actually the strip clubs have improved the area. At night the lit-up Placers and Lord Black's
look quite nice. Of course La Roca is still a nice place to eat and on late Friday and Saturdays, its not unusual to see a lot of dressed up locals head there for fine dining.

Me, I prefer my "fine dining at the Y.

Nogales was the headquarters for Caranza during the Revolution. Here Don Venustiano met almost daily with such people as General Felipe Angeles, Pancho Villa and Matin Guzman, whose memoir of the Revolution, "El Aguila y La Serpiente," refers nostalgicly to those days, including references to the beauties of the town of Magdalena, whom the Revolutionaries would court in the little square that contains the bones of Father Kino. One can only imagine that Villa stayed at the Hotel Andres and probably frequented Cherries.

This place renovated the closets recently. Kind of like Cherry's arriba.

I went to lipsticks the day after thanksgiving and it totally sucked. Lord blacks and placers were full of hot girls but there were maybe 4 or 5 girls none above a 2 or 3 there at 9-10 on a saturday night. Just a bad night or not worth going back to?

AZP, Lipstick has been in decline for some time now, unfortunatley. It used to be THE place to go. There's still a couple cuties there. Check out Abigail some time. But generally, it's not so hot these days.

I hear wednesday night Leslie and someone put on a full-blown lesbo show onstage. The manager just shook his head and walked back into his office.

Now this is what I like to hear!! This club has always been one of the nastiest. I will continue to go.

I have been wondering why there has not been any comments on the girls dorm for cherrys and listick. The times I have been in the girls rooms It is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. No windows no air. Two girls in a room about 8x10. The guard has always gone to the girls rooom before they have let me in. There are locks on the outside of the doors. I have never asked,but do they lock the girls in the rooms like they do the front door? The place feels like a prison.

I am sure it is so the girls can secure their rooms when they are not there. I have seen other places like this and it was the only way a girl could lock the door when she wasnt in the room. If you go to Crystals in RP when they are not open, that is how you can find a girl -- if there is a lock on the door no one is in the room, no lock on the outside means she is in her room.

So, Papa_C, are you saying you don't way the like I run my chica prison? Oh well, keeps 'em in line...

A new general manager just started at Lipstick last night. Jose use to work at Lord Black as the security manager. He is bring in some ladies from TJ next week. They are planning to get new furniture and repaint the interior. Hopefully he can get things going at Lipstick and compete with Placer and Lord Black. Competition can't hurt. There were eight ladies there last night.

this place was pretty dead last night. about 5 chicas there, about half of them with really short butch style haircuts (maybe its a new trend? i hope not)..

So has anyone seen the new blond at Lipsticks? I've been told she is one of the hottest chica's in Nogi. Waist length blond hair.

Dude, I haven't been in lipstick for about a year - haven't had a reason to go, until now. I will give her a thorough lapdance audition and report back. In service to my fellow mongers, of course.

Went to Lipstick this past Sat night. It was about 10PM and the place was really dead - practically no customers and not that many chicas. Saw one or two chicas with longer blonde hair, but didn't see any that looked worth writing home about.

i met this chica named luna: cute, brown hair, b cup breasts, nice big j lo booty, thick hips, wanted me to get some privates with her.. it was early so i declined.. place is not really hopping anymore..

Despite Griff's recent comment to the contrary somewhere else on these boards, Lipstick is still open for business. I was there last night and they had maybe half a dozen chicas. Sometimes I wonder if this club pays the girls by the pound, as they tend to have more chubby gals than the other clubs. But they also have one or two who are pretty easy on the eye.

And for those of you who know Tommy (from Cherry's), she's working weekends here now.

She is referred to as grandma. Somebody said that when she dies, she will be buried under the stage.

You can officially scratch Lipstick off the list of strip clubs in Nogales. It's now a regular bar - Cherry's Sports Club or something like that. Not that it was much of a loss...

When did this happen?

Rafael - Ticket seller from Boleiro quit couple of weeks ago and will be opening up Lipstick in few weeks. I guess he saved up lots of money and going to invest in a strip club.

Kojak, have you been to Nogie lately? If so, how is it? I am thinking about going down, but the last several times were pretty bad.

I always liked that bar for some reason. It has a cool setup inside.

Azguy-I was there on Friday night. Things are about the same, it is still $150 or higher @ Lord Black, Placer, and Boleiro. I did Darquia from Mexicali for $180 last month. She was very pretty but got new tits a few months ago. She didn't need them. She was pretty nice for Nogo girl. She work in Boleiro on and off. There are several new girls that looks pretty good at the clubs. I talked to the management from the clubs and the business is really slow these days but the owner still are not going to reduce their rates. The girls get less than the club from you money. Boleiro let the day girls go around 8pm so you can just go there early and arrange to take the girl to a hotel when she get off for an hour and still be back home in reasonable time.

I found this girl who was there waiting for her friend who worked in Placers. They are planning to go to TJ this week to work at Chavelas bar. The manager "Sergio" told me that she would go for $60 which she did. She is cute with nice body but the service was your typical Nogo style. No bj just fs. It was her first time doing it for money and she didn't rush or get into the whole thing. She just did several different positions until I was done. She worked in Oblegon but not for sex. I also had to pay Sergio a fee for using their bedroom which is outside between the side street to the right side of Placers as you're facing Placers. After, she was concern about her ex-boyfriend who she just broke up with that day. So I left the room first. I should have taken her to a hotel and pay $40. I am sure Sergio kept the money I gave him.

Lipstick should be opened mid November.

Lipstick also failed as a sports bar. It has been dark for quite some time now.

The club will reopen as Studio 69 Gentlemens Club soon. Saw some rumors that this is an entirely new owner who will bring a new attitude to the scene. He sure is putting a lot of money into the street appearance and I can hardly wait to see what is inside.
