La Conga is open during the day. Go in for a drink, and the madam/bartender will call out one or two girls (random? rotation?). Don't know what happens if you're not happy with what comes out (the one(s) that come out will not be overly pushy - just politely decline if you're not interested)... probably will call more - may ask you what you're looking for.

This is not necessarily the kind of place where one gathers names. I, with my horrid spanish, have come to understand that the girls there don't stay there very long. The work a month or so (sometimes less) and move on.

Stopped in on Tuesday night.

It definitely closes around 2 a.m. That is the beauty of the quintas in Acapulco. They are 24/7 and have a 24/7 bar.

Conga is the only "real" brothel in Nogie (well, there might be others, but I wouldn't want to see the talent there...). Conga is the only place you can get TJ-style action - bedroom on premesis for 1/2 hour for $65 total. Usually there are not many, if any, hot chicas there. But right now there are two young hotties - Maira and Paola. Both are worth a spin at that price, but IMO Maira is cuter, nicer and a better lay. ANY cab driver will know where Conga is. Pay no more than $5-6 for the ride - establish price for ride up front - just say, "Conga $5"..

Someone posted some info (maybe above) that they work Wednesday through Sunday. They live on sight (at la conga) so the lady (or man) behind the bar could go get them if you're early, I am sure. Sliding up a strong 3rd is Carla (she does not live on sight).

Thanks for the info...I hope the two at Congo are still working...I was planning on checking out the Cherries girls or Rio girls if Congo is dead as always...That is why I am going down earlier...In the past I always leave Phx at about 4pm and get there just asthe afternoon girls leave. 1. There is not usually a cab by the club, especially on a Tuesday but the bartender, mesero, or the girl will be able to call one for you. As they say, "It ain't their first bar-b-que." (How's that for an idiomatic expression that if you translated it literally and said it in Spanish would get you that LOCO GRINGO look. There must be a Mexican expression that means the same thing.)

2. The $65 fate rate for thirty minutes is still holding. That is $50 for the girl and $15 for the bar.(Bring your own condoms. Trojan seems to be the trusted brand.) As in all things North and South, it is what the market will bear. And a lot of the northern market is going to the TD clubs. So even though this is snowbird, tourist, and student season, La Conga Nightclub is pretty quiet. That, by the way, is a sweet-and-sour mix. It holds the price down but moves many of the girls to the other clubs.

Having said all that, since this is your first time to La Conga coupled with the fact that it is a Tuesday night, I would like to suggest that you call Alex. Many girls take a day or two off in midweek and the pickings are slim to begin with at La Conga. I have only been with 2 of the girls so far and they were very different girls and very different lays. Alex will be able to guide you. He will be able to get you a $100 for 1 hour rate if you see one you like. Often he will get you a $5 cab out there and have it wait for you and only $5 back. I went to La Conga yesterday night (Saturday) around 11PM. There was only one decent looking lady, Alejandra, blond, 21, very thin. However, she was not worth the money.

you are likely referring to The Jungla it is a dance night club very close to the border. If you want to go to La Conga it is best to get a taxi, offer him $5 to take you there. Imo it is not close enough to walk.

It depends what you are lookin for, if you are a young guy looking for hot young girls you will rarely if ever find it there. If you are less discriminating and looking for a fairly cheap lay, it can be had there. Its the cheapest lay in Nogi other than crack addicted street girls.

Safety: The cab driver will leave you off at the door, and there will be taxis waiting to take you back to the border. The times I've been there (which haven't been many). There is rarely a large crowd in there. Just use common sense and don't invite trouble you'll be ok.

That's an ignorant comment but a thought you share with millions of others who don't have any time or inclination to pay any attention to actual facts and details. It is kind of like a Mexican saying they'd never visit Austin, Texas after reading about gang violence in L.A. and the high rate of homicide in Detroit.

The plain fact is that each locality in Mexico carries its own individual level of risk in connection with the insanely unnecessary drug war. If you know what's going on you probably would be wise to avoid Juarez, but can visit Baja California (i.e. TJ) without any worries. In most locations the violence has been surgically carried out and in no instances have tourists been targeted in wild shootout type scenarios.

I visited Nogales a few times when it was going good there about 10 years ago so I am now less on top of it than I once was. It has always been a place for trafficking drugs and undocumented immigrants in high volume, but the city streets have never seen any open random violence to the best of my knowledge.

I have followed the news of Mexico daily for many years and read the TJ daily newspapers with some frequency. I strongly doubt that in all of Mexico that any single INNOCENT monger (i.e. not themselves involved with the drug trade) has been caught up in the middle of deadly violence related to the drug war. I believe the total body count of innocent U.S. travelers in Mexico may be about 2 of the tens of thousands of Mexicans (mostly cartel soldiers) who have died in the violence. So if you think you'll be the first, that's fucking insane. I live in fucking insane Los Angeles and definitely without any qualification can say that I feel physically safer in Tijuana. Still no plans to visit Juarez anytime soon.

Erip - Good response. I have been going to Nogales weekly for over ten years and never had any problems except couple time cops wanted a $10 bride. I guess people shouldn't go to Columbia since a bomb exploded again last week. And stop having sex with so many girls!
