Some late teenaged kid that tried to act a a pimp and that speaks pretty good English told me the name will be Boletos or something like that. Can anyone confirm? Nogales has to be by far the most expensive border town in all of Mexico. I wonder how they get away with it while all the other border towns are much more reasonably priced for sex?

Not sure about the spelling of the name (I could swear there's an "i" somewhere in the name), but there definitely is a new club just south of Placers. Owned by the same people - even had the Placer's doorman working there. Nothing very special about the place. In fact the selection of chicas was rather slim. Most unusual thing about it - the chairs. They're all high-back formal looking chairs. Kind of felt like I should have my smoking jacket on.

The ceiling over the stage also makes it look like it was done by the same people who did Lord Black. Curved design with recessed lighting. The privados are apparently downstairs, and the word is they have two bedrooms for recreational use.

Why is Nogales expensive??

This place is actually called Boleiro (yes, that is the way they spell it). I dug the joint. It's kind of like a smaller, and (THANK GOD) more well lit Placer's. It was a tad warm in there, AC isn't so hot, apparently. There were exactly 12 girls there last Friday, but all of them quite doable - pretty much like Placer's and Lord Black. The $3 cover gets you a beer, so that's not so bad. The always super abundant waiters are top shelf. Cute waitresses there, too. Didn't get too many names, but the Baby from Placer's is there (tall, thin, black hair) - and so is Elizabeth (from the good ol' days, I think).

I still think the fucking owners of these places have their pricing structure completely fucked up. I can't imagine that Nogales can support 8 strip clubs. I still think if they lowered their prices on the privates to $15 like they were in early 2000 and got rid of the ridiculous 3 dances to close the curtain rule, they would be doing so much more volume and creating so much demand that they would make much more money.

I still remember the glory days of Lipstick where there was a line 10 deep to get into the 7 private rooms. All the girls were fucking their customers and they were doing great volume.

Headed down to nogie last night, and had to check this club out. Walked in and there was one girl dancing, and then only saw one girl sitting with another guy. Sat down and had two drinks spent about 40 minutes there, and didn't see another girl get on stage, and the one other girl that was with a guy, got up and went to the back rooms. In 40 minutes I never saw one girl come up from the downstairs area. Needless to say I left very quickly and headed to another club.

4)Hold some cash back just in case...you want to be able to pay your way out of the club, and still should have some for anything you may encounter on the way back to the border line.

6)Remind my boys that there are other clubs (Placers and Lord Blacks, no cover after Bolieros; as well as Obsessions). Some of these clubs may have some blondes, two for ones, stage shows, who knows?

7)While there were waiters, there were no waitresses that I noticed. Also there was a towel, gum, cigarette vendor in the mens room.

All in all my friends all agree it was a great night and plan to repeat every couple months.

Club: Boleiro on Calle Ruiz Cortinez - middle of the block - a short walk from the border crossover.

I have visited this club several times in the past 2 months. Just really enjoy the atmosphere, as it is a little more upscale than most other clubs in Nogales(i.e., Obsessions, Rio, Lord Blacks, etc.)

Most of the women are at least sevens (7) and the majority are 8, 9 or 10s. Beautiful ladies and so willing to be of service to the men and women who visit.

A couple of the women are really knockouts (et. al., Sugay 25ish, Annel- 22 yrs old and America 21 or 22 yrs old - all beautiful Latinas.) Sugay has retired for awhile to Matzelan (her home town) but may be back soon. Should be back in April 2004.

For any of you guys who want to consider a hotel visit - just ask "Rafael" or "Tony" two of the ticket managers to assist you. They can act as your liason and translator with the Lady.

Here is the scoop at Boleiro. If you negotiate for a LAdy to visit your hotel early in the evening it will cost you $150 paid to the Club to release her (Bar Fee basically). The Lady will ask from $115 to 150 per hour. Rafael or Tony will personally drive you to your hotel (tip then generously ($10 or so for this service)) or will make sure you and the Lady have a Taxi to the hotel.

I believe this is a fair cost. If you were to have the same time in a VIP Especial room for 2 hours, for instance, it would cost you $230 times four (4) thirty minute segments or a total of $920.

A 2 hour hotel visit will run you a total of $450 max (not including the taxi or personal transportation by Rafael ot Tony). If you are a serious player who wants a lot of time witht the Lady this is the route I reccomend taking.

You don't have to do 2 hours - an hour is fine too. I have done this recently and was very pleased witht treatment I received from Rafael and Tony as well as my sinorita. When our time together was done, I just called Rafael and her came immediately for my Lady.

I've also experienced the big room, but it cost less than you describe. I'm sure the cost is the max ($230) on Fri or Sat night, but when I go during the week or earlier in the day on Fri or Sat, the price can be negotiated as low as $120 plus the girl (which is typically $40 to $60). For that price, I've had the room and girl for 40-60 blissful minutes. Always negotiate more time especially if you're paying the full price and you'll usually get it unless it's a busy night. You can rent the room for just the cost of the room and pay the girl seperately. This works well for those girls who don't want to declare their whole income to management (the "split") so they'll give you a break.

An all-nighter at a local hotel can be had for $150 for the girl and as little as $50 for the bar fine--$200 total for the complete night, not just two hours. The lesson here is, negotiate, negotiate, negotiate.

By the way, I also recommend Bebe...a true gfe.

Ok, you guys are going to laugh your asses off at this. I walked in to Boleiro last night and the place looked REALLY slow. I immediately saw Tony, the boletero, and asked him what's going on. It seems someone decided there were going to be no privados or bedrooms in Boleiro. And lap dances are now $22! The place was really empty, he said, because all the girls were out at short time hotel rooms doing...uhhh...something other than "privados" - yeah, that's it. The end result was that it was pretty much the deadest club in Nogi late Sat night. And if they keep this up, it'll soon be a bankrupt club. All within the space of mere months.

Tony also seemed to say it was a TD's thing, and applied to Lord Black and Placers too. Well, I didn't notice any privados going on in Placers, but the club was slow anyhow. And the girls did ask if I wanted a privado, so that notion seems to be out. And Lord Black was doing about the best business I've seen in a while, with several nice looking gals. And again I was asked if I wanted a privado there.

So what the hell really happened? Who knows?

As I recall, this same thing happened in Cherry's and Lipstick's about 4-5 years ago. (back then there were only 2-3 clubs anyway). The door were removed by order of the mayor or police official or some such "authority". The bribes were soon paid, and the door were restored. No doubt this is political, or it's a desperatly foolish ploy by the club owners to extract cash from the cluless newbies. Give it a few weeks and the most likely thing will return to normal. The slower summer season starts soon, an I expect deals will be had.

I was told that all privados are being outlawed. I noticed the doors/curtains are gone in the clubs. This is temporary I imagine or I am done with Nogales. La Conga is looking better and better.

Wow. The end of privates in Nogales? I would imagine if this continues, it will be the end of the strip club in Nogales.

However, this could also be a good thing. If the bar owners would get their act together and attach short time hotels to the strip clubs and charge a reasonable price for the rental of said room, we might have a nice mini TJ in Nogales as I doubt many women would turn down $50-$60 US for a half hour.

But knowing Nogales, they will want to charge something ridiculous like $200 for 15 minutes plus $100 to the lady.

Guess we'll see. I hope this crackdown continues and the bar owners are forced to adapt to a more viable and competitively priced business model.

nogales is a dead animal. was down on 12/3 and Lipsticksd was closed. Asked around and was told that a combination of poor quality women and no clients. News flash to nogi strip club owners....Lower your fucking prices. I guess it is Mexicanomics, they had a booming business not less than two years ago. Named VIP or something they did a nice job in all but same old story....high prices and marginal entertainment, at best...I think us mongers should form a partership and just buy lipsticks and show these dumb bastards how to run one of these places. Cut the beer prices, lots of specials,lower dance prices and let the girls have bigger cuts of the fecha's and privates. in no time you would attract the best girls in town and those hotter girls that work the circuits would be dropping anchor with us as well. Girl Selection: Only Bolerios had good quality.
Massage Parlor: Suck man, had one at the one near La Roca, 40 dlls for massage and 50 dlls for Blow Job. Wanted 100 dlls for full service.

It's weird to read this board then read in the Nogales newpaper that there is another new club opening up. That's 3 new clubs this year. I can't remember the name but they are looking for Masero's and Dancers.

Nogales is like professional sports, they keep expanding, prices go up, talent gets watered down.

A friend and I have concluded, and, based on heresay he has gathered around Nogie, that more than one club is being used to launder drug money.

You figure, all you need is to show that the club pulled in, at one time, a large amount of cash, mainly US dollars. It doesn't matter what the club legitimatly pulls in, you just keep putting in your drug dollars and converting them to niteclub dollars.

This may partly explain why the owners really don't care if the club is actually making money or not. On the books, it's making "lots" of money, even thought the place may be dead for most of the week. The fact that the clubs may have made money in the past or in the future is irrelevant. It's a cash business. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of liquor or beer is diverted to make it look like there is high consumption.

This ploy has been used for years in the US, although it's harder to get away with now, it's still used.

The more you look at the situation down in Nogales, the more it makes sense.

OG, don't know about your suppositions, but it would seem those lap dance and privado tickets would come in handy for that as well. You can write up all the tickets you want, whether a girl ever did a dance or not - who would know. And that could easily explain lots of extra cash flow.
