I went here for the first time last week, and it was OK. Supposedly owned by the people that own Obsession, but it's much more low budget.

Arriving a few minutes after 10 PM we were charged a 50 peso cover charge, but given a ticket for a free privado. As privados cost 50 pesos, that's not a bad deal, though I still hate paying cover charges. 25 pesos got me a PONY BEER as I ordered XX, but 30 pesos gets a full size can of Tecate. It's 2x1 until 10 PM, so we just missed getting an OK deal on drinks.

There is a relatively continuous stage dancer, though they do use the annoying practice of playing one taxi dance type corrida between dancers. Makes for a helluva long wait until you see more ass, and it's generally done in clubs in Monterrey when they have a shortage of dancers.

The place was real dark and most of the chicas were occupied when we got there. There were a couple just arriving for work and they dress in a glass walled dressing room that many clubs in Monterrey feature. There seemed to be about a dozen girls there, and none were stunners, but no real dogs either. My amigo knew a girl there from another club and he bought her a drink and took her for the free privado. It took me awhile to find one that I wanted to go with, but when I finally decided she made it real easy for me by coming up and asking me if I wanted to go with her. I think my friend's girl told her I was checking her out. Smart girl!

The 'privado' room wasn't really privado, as there was the money guy in the room and any other couple doing dances, sorta US lapdance style arrangement. In a weird kind of scene, they didn't use the music from the BAR to do the privados, but rather had some truly shitty fast metal playing and calling out time when your 'song' was over. I paid another 50 pesos for a second dance as I entered on my friend's suggestion, but it wasn't really worth it. STILL, though, wasn't really worth it is relative, as for a total of 10 bucks I got great lap grinding and all the tit I could suck for 10 minutes. But as always in such situations, 5minutes surely would have been sufficient, as it was clear that there were no extras to be had THERE. Maybe there's a more private place on hand if you wanna pony up more cash. I won't be investigating any time soon as Casino didn't make the cut to be on my bar-hopping route.

This place is on like the 2500 block of Madero, near the Cigarerra factory. Borrado's old hag brothel is on the corner.

I hear you about cover charges. No matter the benefits it is still a matter of principle. What if the place is filled with uglies not worth a freebie anything?
That is what I like about Juarez, no covers. But then again the one time I went to Noglaes, every place charged a cover but it included a free drink.

The Casino Club has a 60 peso cover charge, but that includes one free dance.
It might no be a drink, but let me asure you that the Casino is not full of "uglies".

Agreed, RK, The most cover charge Casino should charge is a dollar on weekends to keep the riffraff out. The place is not worth your money unless you know a sure thing girl that works there. You can do much better for your money in MTY.
