Once again I want to thank you guys for the wisdom I have received since joining the board now it’s time for me to pay something forward.

Day 1

This is my first time to San Salvador El Salvador. My motivation for the trip was togo beyond my comfort zone of the north coast of DR. Airfare was just over $400.00 so once I found a language school to study Spanish I added San Salvador to my bucket list. I must admit I had a great deal of trepidation because of El Salvador’s history of violence. San Salvador is the home of MS13 which is one of the most violent street gangs in the world; it is reported that they were responsible for 15 murders a day in SS until recently. I planned a strict itinerary for my 7 days with the express purpose of staying out of trouble.

I connected at MIA on AA and when I got on the flight to San Salvador it was almost empty I was reminded that this is nothing like my POP and SDQ flights which are always packed. I arrived and paid my $10.00 tarifa for the tourist card and got my bags without a problem. I didn’t have to worry about currency exchange since ES uses the US dollar. The taxista from Hotel Novo (CH Link) was waiting for me and we took a 40 minute ride from the airport to the hotel. I stopped by Digicel to get a $13.00 cell with 30 minutes. I could call with myATT phone but I couldn’t text so I figured I’d get the phone because you never know what might come up.

Hotel Novo looks to be about 20 years old but I was thoroughly impressed with thestaff and the grounds of the hotel which includes a garden and outdoor pool. My room was an apartment with a small dining room table a mini kitchen and sitting area along with a large bedroom with 2 queen size beds and a balcony with a spectacular view of the garden. First stop was the infamous Kiss Fresh (CH Link) located at El Algodon #3, Boulevard Constitution. ($28-30min., $33-45 min., $40-60 min) Outdoor security was armed with a shot gun but after speaking with him he was quite friendly. I walk in and am searched by the indoor security and greeted by a hostess that was the most beautiful woman in the spot. The hostess has a creamy white complexion with long brown hair approximately 5’5” 130 pounds and she greeted me with awarm smile. I paid the $10.00 tarifa and she brought me a agua per my request. Kiss Fresh has a long bar as you walk in and a series of rooms with couches and chairs where the caballeros pasar tiempo con las chicas. Despite the excellent ambiance I was not comfortable for the below listed reasons:

1. It seemed like every 10 feet there was a security guard
2. The men out numbered the women 5 to 1
3. The music was not Bachata, Merengue Salsa or Reggeton I don’t know what it was
4. The chicas there ignored me and paid me absolutely no attention
5. The finest chica in the house was the hostess and she was not available

After about 30 minutes I left I went to the next stop La Oficina (CH Link) located at Col Escalon 89 Avenida Norte #1. ($45.00-30 minutes and $75.00-60 minutes) Security greeted me at the door unarmed and asked for $10.00. I went inside and was greeted by Adrianna who smiled and radiated warmth by making feel at home seating me and bringing me my agua. The girls come out and shake your hand after which they all stand in a line waiting for you to choose. Some of the girls made eye contact and some of the girls looked away as if they were saying “don’t choose me!” I picked Adrianna who was the most cordial and the most attractive asking her “estas disponible?” she smiled and said “si.” Adrianna had milky white skin, brown eyes and long black hair down her back. She was 5’4” 120 pounds wearing a black mini dress and heels that contrasted well with her skin and hair. I was captivated by her mellow disposition she was “muy tranquilla.” We talked about her aspirations to go tothe University and study to be a teacher. She also said she preferred gringos because we’re more carinoso than her Latino clientes. I took the 30 minute option and after our shower she compliments me on my physique which strokes myego, then she kisses my whole body ever so softly the attention she paid to my body felt better than the BBBJ which was okay. There were slight moans and sighs and I had the impression she genuinely enjoyed my company and I definitely enjoyed hers. Being with her was a mellow enjoyable experience. I asked her could I see her outside the club and she politely said “no” but my experience was so enjoyable with her I will try to repeat again before I leave it was a true GFE.

Day 2

My taxista took me on a city tour to see the following:

1. El Patron del Pais, El Salvador del Mundo is a monument with an image of Christ standing on a globe in a small park in El Centro. Oh the irony of a nation that claims the Saviour but has been one of the most violent in the world.
2. The Olympic Park with a monument of the Olympic Rings
3. Dios de Luvia “the God of Rain” who was worshipped by the original ingenious people of the area.
4. Parque Balboa which provided a vista view of western San Salvador; it reminded me of the hills of Medellin, Colombia spectacular view of the city below. There was also a giant mountain that reminded me of El Penon de Guatape outside Medellin, Colombia; one of the largest rocks in the world that at its highest peak provides a vista view that has to be put on your bucket list.
5. Catredal Metropolita and the entire el centro area reminded me of a giant flee market. When you walk by the shops all you hear is “que buscas?” but for me “no busco nada, gracias”

The women on the street look nothing like the women in the casas. Most of the women had the typical Latina – Indigenous look, short from thick to fat big boobs no butt and long black hair. Complexions vary from bronze to deep brown. I’ll put it to you this way they speak Spanish but they are not Dominicanas if you get my drift.

My only stop of the day was Zou Spa (CH Link) located at Calle Monsenor Escriva de Balaguer #12, near 8a Calle Poniente & 43 Avenida Sur. ($30-30 min., $35- 45 min., $40-hour) This is a non descript building that looks like a warehouse from outside. I yelled “caballeros” and they slid back a largesteal door. I walked in got pat down by security and he called up. I walked up aflight of stairs and the hostess opened the door with a smile. She was very cordial and made me feel at home. I paid my $5.00 cover and she brought me my agua and I sat down waiting for the presentation of the chicas. As you walk in there is a sitting area a bar and a main room with a wide screen TV and couches and chairs. The hostess checked on me a couple of times and I thought to myself “que bueno.” There were a dozen locals tranqulo with their bebidas. There was a line up of about 10 chicas all came by shook your hand and stood in line. All the chicas were wearing red mini dresses and tight white tops.

I chose Kelly she was olive complexioned and could have passed for a Dominicana with the exception of not have a round booty butt. She was thicker than I usually like them about 150 pounds and approximately 5’5” with a nice curvy shape and a minor pouch. She was great to talk to made me feel at home and shared with me she is studying to be a lawyer and has only been working their 3 months. She thought I was a Dominicano initially apparently Dominicanos come there on business and she has clients from all over Latin America. I chose the 1 hour option went back to the room it was terrible. Had naked pictures on the wall one queen size bed and a table. The walls were concrete brick and I was glad I didn’t have to sleep there. Kelly agreed and said she didn’t like the room either but I wasn’t there for ambiance I was there for her. She had a nice body and start off kissing the body but she wasn’t as good as Adrianna from La Oficina. BBBJ was decent 3 positions 2 leches in an hour. Kelly was rougher than Adrianna but I liked her she was good spirited and had a pleasant personality so I gave her a $5.00 propina without her asking. She kissed me on the cheek asked if I wanted to stay but I couldn’t I was spent after that rough ride so I decided to get a couple of pizzas and chill for the night.

Day 3

Mostof the adult entertainment establishments in San Salvador are closed on Sundays so I just did the following cultural and historical activities:

1.Joya de Ceren is a Mayan city that was destroyed by a volcano in 590 BC and was excavated by archeologist in 1976. Many of the buildings were still intact.
2.San Andres is a prehispanic site of a complex of Mayan pyramids estimated to be built around 600BC.
3.Tazumal are Mayan ruins that are the most in tact in El Salvador. The pyramid was estimated to have been constructed in 900 BC but it was still standing with very little deterioration. Both San Andres and Tazumal reminded me of the Mayan ruins at Chitchen Itza outside Cancun, Mexico. The Mayans were outstanding civil engineers as many of their structures are still standing 2000 years later.

Day 4

First day of Spanish class I have one Catholic Nun and another Catholic volunteer whoare learning Spanish. We studied tiempo future which sucks because it is not used as much as tiempo presente y pasado. I racked my brain but I’ll get over it.

My stop for the day was 316 Mansion (CH Link), 43 Avenida Sur on the corner of 8a Calle Poniente. ($25-30 min.,$28-40 min., $42-hour) There were 2 caballeros standing outside one took my$4.00 cover charge and the other patted me down for weapons. The door was opened by a beautiful hostess she was wearing a canary yellow mini dress approximately 5’7” 150 pounds thick and curvy, she took my drink order and returned with my agua. She was polite but not overly friendly like the hostesses at the other casas. A man with a microphone came over to me introduced himself and asked if I wanted to meet the chicas and I said “si!” He got on the microphone had them line up introducing them. There were about 10 most of them did not seem to be very friendly but asi es la vida! I picked Mira who was about 5’7” 140 pounds wearing black tight pants and a black blouse which contrasted well with her vanilla complexion. She had black shoulder length hair which flowed seamlessly with her appearance. She was quite friendly telling me she was recently divorced and was saving so she could go to school to be a secretary. She was very patient with my broken Spanish and kept a smile on her face. I bought her a $10.00 fruity drink that I have no idea what it was. There was this Boracho over in the corner that kept staring at us and I asked Myra if he was a cliente she said “no.” I took the 1 hour option with Myra and while she was gathering her things the Boracho asked me where I was from and made small talk, his eyes were red and glassy and his speach was slurred he was obviously drunk so I was polite and dismiised myself once Myra returned. The room was small and cramped but it did have an air conditioner. Myra had a nicebody very little bootay but very well portioned otherwise. She started with the kissing of the body but for some reason it did not feel as good as Adrianna from La Oficina. She did a CBJ which was ok rode me for a while and I rode her for a while and I used up most of the hour. The thing I enjoyed most was her removing the condom and washing me that felt better than the sex. Over all she had a very pleasant disposition and I left because tengo mucho tarea por clase.

The real test for security in El Salvador is were there armed guards in the classroom guarding the nun?

I was in San Salvador in 1975. Then the hookers sat on the steps outside the McDonalds or KFC on the main plaza near the cathedral where Archbishop Romero was assassinated. I think they asked for 5 colones which was $2 or so in 1975.

Spanish fluently is to spend all your time with women who know only a couple words of English. Your conversational skills at making new friends and small talk will improve so fast you won't believe it.

Day 5

Taking formal Spanish classes is generally a good idea but there is a difference between understanding tu profesor en clase y hablando en la calle. I can understand about 70% of what is said in class and 10% of what is said in the street so I have much work to do. I also found my professors explanation of the history of MS 13 from a street gang formed to protect themselves against the Mexicans in Los Angeles to their growth as part of the Mexican – Colombian drug cartel very interesting.

My first stop for the day was Volvereta (CH Link). 6 Calle Poniente # 2303 at 43 Avenida Sur, Col Flor Blanca (Prices $25-30 min, $28-40 min, $40-hour) When I arrive a big burley mean looking hombre greets me and I could see his pistol bulging from his waist covered by his shirt. I didn’t have change for the $3.00 cover so I gave him a $10.00 and he pat me down and let me into a dimly lit house with a living room and foyer with couches where you can sit and talk to the chicas. The hostess was a gordita that was built like a turkey took my order for aqua and subsequently returned. The presentation was only 3 chicas the one that was built like a turkey, one that was tall like a giraffe and the other that was built like a chicken. I asked “hay otra chicas?” and they said they would be coming later but I thought to myself “yeah right!” None of them were friendly with smiles and they all looked muy aburridas. I was seriously thinking about leaving without my change because there was no way I was going to stay here after my previous favorable experiences in the other casas; just as I was thinking that thought the security guy brought me my change. I sat for another 5 minutes then I jetted.

My second stop was El Jardin (CH Link), Calle San Antonio Abad #9 (Prices $25-30 min, $32-40 min, $42-hour) When I arrived I knocked on the door some peeped through the peep hole and opened the sliding metal door. The security guard pat me down and I walked to the desk where I paid my $6.00 cover. The hostess was nice looking she had oriental features but she was thick about 5’7”160 pounds with a nice shape she asked me to follow her into a sitting area, while I was walking I saw 3 chicas sitting on a couch to my right I locked eyes with one it appeared as if her eyes lit up as she saw me I smiled and she smiled and all 3 of the girls started laughing like I was in some kind of Geisha House or something. There were about 8 girls that presented themselves but to be quite frank I do not remember what the other girls looked like because I was captivated the one who smiled at me. I extend my hand and she walks over to where I am and takes a seat. Her name is Jacqueline she has an incredible smile and is very nice and engaging. She understood what I was saying and commented but I understood very little of what she said because she spoke so fast. I did get that she had 2 kids and was trying to save money to go to school and take care of her kids. I told her I wanted to spend some time with her and I agreed to an hour session when she stood up I could see what I was really getting. Jacquline was about 5’3” 120 pounds with blond hair and a soft olive colored complexion but I looked at her body and I was like “QUE BIEN!” she had what looked like a 23 inch waist 34 inch hips she truly had an hour glass figure. I can only imagine how hard it would be for her to find jeans.

We go to the room which has a bed a sheet and a fan in it and she assist me in taking off my clothes and goes to her knees while I am still standing and starts with the BBBJ I have never had anything like that happen to me and I was convinced I was in a porn movie. We took it to the bed got sweaty in stuff and hung in there for almost the whole hour, Finished and talked like we were really lovers. If I was going to come back to San Salvador I would definitely stay in touch but El Salvador is not the Dominican Republic...lol

Give you big time credit for attempting to learn Spanish in your older years. People dont realize how much it helps in your business and as a monger.

San Salvador Observations:

City:
San Salvador had the appearance of an old run down city nothing like the beautiful skyline of Panama City or Medellin. The streets were dirty and many of the homes had wires and metal doors for security. It was a hot 90 degrees during the day and cool 70 degrees at night.

Traffic:
Yes you guessed it was HORIBLE! Motor scooters weaving in and out of heavy traffic with mostly compact cars like Hyundai’s, Toyotas and Hondas. My taxista spent more time onthe horn than he did on the accelerator. I can’t count how many close calls we had and on one occasion my taxisita looked over at me and said “relax!” I thought to myself “yeah right, I’ll relax when I get out of this car.” There is no inter-state highway system per-se and the roads are generally in poor shape.

Security:
Las Pandillas, SanSalvador is the home of the notorious street gang MS13. MS 13 found its origins in Los Angeles but many members who have been deported from the United States have taken up residence in San Salvador. What once was a street gang has become a trans-national criminal organization involved in narco-trafficking and kidnapping. In front of many retail establishments you see security guard with 12 gauge shot guns as the weapon of choice. I was told that the city is relatively safe by day but at night beware. I followed the advice of my taxista, language school director, hotel personnel and even the casa girls “tenga cuidado!” My advice was to take a cab everywhere I went at night and I followed that advice. It cost me about $10.00 per hour but my peace of mind was worth it.

Novo ApartHotel:
The rooms were mini apartments with a kitchen mini bar eating area mini living room and bedroom with flat screen television and patio over looking the pool. My room was about $70.00 per night but they had larger rooms also. The restaurant was good serving the typical meals and local dishes averaging $10.00 -$15.00 a plate. They also had room service that I did not use. I would highlyrecommend this hotel because the staff was excellent the only complaint I had was the mosquito that annoyed me when I was trying to sleep and I was unsuccessful in destroying.

Chicas & Casas:
Most of thescene is in “casas de las chicas” that for the most part are non descript buildingsand houses all over the city. If there are a group of men or armed security guards hanging out in front of a house in a residential area it just might be a casa. Some of the casas looked like sports bars inside, others looked like well furnished homes and others looked like rat holes. Many of the women did not appear to be happy to be there but everyone that I sessioned with was very pleasant and I would have repeated with any of them had I stayed longer. Flaquita –spinners are available but they are the exception to the rule. These women in general have not missed a meal and some have the black hair, bronze skinned semi indigenous look. Each casa had women who ranged from low 6’s to high 8’s. Although I did not see a lot of the city most of the women in the casas were more attractive than the women I saw on the street with the exception of a few stunners. They were nice looking women but overall not as beautiful as Colombianas. All of the chicas I spoke with were from San Salvador unlike Costa Rica and Panama where you find muchas Colombianas y Dominicanas.

Overall:
I enjoyed my stay and my sessions. I felt the chicas were genuinely nice people that I wouldn’t mind getting to know better. I do not think I would return any time in the future because I did not feel comfortable with all the security warnings I received and I am biased towards Dominicanas and Colombianas. I would recommend San Salvador for everymongers “bucket list.”

majormajor, that's a good question I don't there would be no way for me to know. What I can say is the women I did spend time with were very nice and although I am back home I am still thinking of the two best.
