I have noticed that the last trip report on Blackbeard’s resort was back in 2010

WOW, I just re-read my very first report again back from 2010 when I first started mongering and stayed in La Romana…How quickly three short years has passed, and how much better I have gotten at mongering…

Although I haven’t posted trip reports about all the wonderful places I have been and the beautiful women I have defiled…Lets just say, I spent the last half year in Thailand and the Philippines.

After being home in south Florida for the last seven months, the travel bug is telling me to take a vacation.
Because I own my own company, and my Spanish is limited, I decided to do a return quick trip to the DR over the long holiday weekend.
I know everyone here will be jumping on my case…Why not Colombia, Rio, etc…The women are so much hotter there…I understand this, but due to the distance, and my limited time, and not to mention my limited Spanish…The DR is only two hours away from south Florida.

As in my previous trip to La Romana, I became a member of Dominican Cupid.com a few weeks prior to my travel..I met a hot little piece of ass named Ana and spent the last few days of my trip with her….Oh btw Ana never did ask me for ANY money, and Is now married to a local.

Several digital cameras that are outdated, digital translator, 2 iPods, 2 ancient laptops, a unlocked iPhone 4 that has been in my desk now that I have the iPhone 5, I decided to take them with me to sell down there on my trip to Blackbeard’s, or trade them for sex.

Everyone talks about Sosua, and New Garden, but in the same breath they complain about getting ripped off, and chicas demanding more money, If you want to hunt, go to the jungle…Pray for the best but expect the worst. I don’t want this drama, I want a hassle free nice long weekend, without stress, price negotiation, police involvement, SOLUTION – Blackbeard’s Resort (CH Link)

So let the research begin…After a review of Blackbeard’s website, needless to say I was NOT impressed with the website, I checked out others like Oxygen retreat, etc..

I do like the concept of Blackbeard’s because it’s al a cart, not all inclusive, but they don’t want you to bring in alcohol from the outside…Yeah, right like that’s going to happen!!
I hit the duty free and hid a few bottles in my bag…

Non-negotiable rates for the chicas are as follows:
1600 peso for short term
3000 pesos for all night
500 pesos to take a girl naked in the Jacuzzi…I like that because you get to inspect the merchandise then you can decide if you want to session with her, and they roll that 500 into the 1600 pesos…Not once did a chica ask for 1600+500…They all just happily took the 1600 and left.

When I am emailing Tim the manager at Blackbeard’s, I ask him how much for transportation from Puerto Plata airport to the hotel?…He tells me $45usd.
A few days before my flight, I email him again, asking if anyone else is staying there who is on my flight, he responds with, Yes one person on your flight will be staying with us, cool $45 divided by two…He says no, It’s now $60usd divided by two now…WTF?


I meet my cab share buddy, let’s call him “D” who is a cool guy, but a little inexperienced about international traveling…First rule, don’t let ANYONE carry your bag…D mistakenly lets a local carry his bag to the taxi…Not realizing that this guy isn’t the taxi driver. The guy demands money for walking a few feet with his luggage, D opens up his wallet and hands the guy a dollar…the guy is demanding more, all D has is a $10 or larger…Great way to start a trip.
At least it wasn’t me getting into it with the locals.

We hit the road to Blackbeard’s I ask the taxi driver to stop somewhere that I can buy a SIM card for my phone. I travel with a unlocked Motorola Razor, not my iPhone 5.
I realized that I don’t have any pesos on me so I tell the driver never mind, on to the hotel….D asks me “you didn’t exchange money at the airport?” I am looking at him like he has 3 heads…I reply “YOU DID?” Second rule, know where the exchange rate is the best…certainly NOT at the airport!! I found that Jenny’s market has the best rate in the area where the hotel is located. When your exchanging hundreds of U.S. dollars that exchange rate can give you an additional session with one of the chicas.

In my emails to the hotel I requested a single deluxe room, all they had was single regular. I ask Tim to let me know if there is a cancelation, because the regular has queen size beds and deluxe has king size, I did let him know that I am a member of Club Hombre…Needless to say a few days later I get a conformation of my upgrade…Membership has it’s privileges

When I travel I always carry a lot of cash, so I arrive at the hotel and I am informed that there is a 20% additional fee If I pay for my room with a credit card…It may have been in one of the MANY emails I traded with Tim, I’m not sure. Not a problem for me, but D is light on cash, he uses his card and then asks where the ATM is?
I am just shaking my head at this point. So I grab a beer in the bar while he is finishing his check in, the chicas are looking at me like I am on the menu

I ask Monica the bartender where I can get a DR SIM card…She makes a call within 1 hour a moto concho delivered one to the hotel for 200 pesos. I loaded up some minutes
D heads off to the ATM

I get checked in, unpack and set up my little store of electronics I brought with me…I pre printed out prices of everything on paper…Thank you Google translator.

I head back down to the bar to scout the talent. It’s now about 4-4:30 when D walks in looking just bummed out…I looked at him, I ask “no cash?” He was like how did you know?
I reply, “You didn’t call your bank and let them know you were going to the DR…Did you?” OOPS
Third rule, before you travel call your bank and let them know what country you will be in, in case you need to withdraw cash.

I found out about that one the hard way in Thailand











So I pick the hottie in the pink outfit, up to the room to get my first one out of my system.

Despite many trips to the North Coast, I've never really considered Black Beard's because it seems very isolated. But your report has me reconsidering that. Is there anything to do within a short walk of the resort? I can only spend so many hours of the day fucking. I like Sosua because you have a nice beach, decent restaurants, and great watersports close by in Cabarete.

Yes, there are several great restaurants in the area..The photos of us and the girls walking was to a beach cafe called the Catamaran...GREAT food.

Other than that, I am unsure, due to the fact I was only there for a few days, from what I hear..

Most of the Mansion guests speak little or no Spanish. Obviously, language ability will improve your interaction with the girls, but it's hardly necessary to have a good time.

I'm not really sure the Mansion has slipped. It's just changed. I actually think the addition of La Cueva has been great. But yeah, if you're looking for wild partying, nudity and sex out by the pool, those days are long gone.

I recently stayed at the Mansion for the first time (I'm slowly writing up the tripreport), so I couldn't comment on whether it is slipping. I had a great time and the livin' was easy....

I gather that the recent addition of the in-house night club kicked it up a notch, since now girls are on-site day and night (although I don't know what the arrangement was before).

Right, I never discussed price--or anything else, and was not disappointed. I just gave each girl $150K. That IS a very relevant point and could really tip the scales in favor of Blackbeards should I ever head to the DR. Also I hear so many stories of theft, drama and 1st time mongers being retarded at New Garden Inn, that I think Blackbeard's may be a good way to filter out the riff raff.

The Medellin mansion has no such preview, you're on your own negotiating with the girls, with 150,000 being the going rate or $80 short time. That's pricey, but when you knock off cab fare to the centro casas, the inevitable casa hopping to find a suitable companion and the comfort of your own room, it can be worth it sometimes. But it really depends on how good the girl is. Since most P4P girls usually do an average job and since there are long dwell times between girls arriving at the mansion your trip can turn into long days hanging around the pool. You get tired of that and head to centro, the when you come back the place is full and all the girls are taken. I think facebook would be more important than Spanish skills at the mansion. So for those reasons, I have put it on my been there done that list as of late.

Anyway, I prefer Campo Allegre in Curacao because as someone mentioned above you can only spend so much of your day fucking. So I like to scuba dive by day and go to Campo at night where there's 100+ Colombian and Dominican girls walking around for $30 (50 guilders) ST. Campo Allegre isn't a Hotel for the guests (it is for the girls).

Curacao is indeed a great option for Diving enthusiasts. However, you do need a car there to be able to hit diving spots, Campo Allegre and the clubs. Everyone is spread out on the small island.
