I`ve been there about 6 times and can~t complain. I do like the Porta Playa side of the Island. AA and Spirit fly in there twice a day. There`s a great place about a half and hour from the Airport, Black- Beards Adult Resort. It`s a compound, hotel,rest,bars pool jac. and about 40-50 girls work there around the clock, no bullshit or bargaining,when you check in right on your hotel check-in form are the rates, 45.00 1-3 hours, 75.00 all night. Nice girls that go by the rules or there out of the place and the guy runs a tight ship when it comes to the hooks. Pool and Jac. are open 24 hours and you can party in them at anytime. Casinos and other activites are 5 mins. away and if you grab something in town no problem bringing her back to the Den Of Sin. Check it out you will have a great time there. George

Add some pics (of BlackBreads more so than the girls), recommened way of getting there, review of their food, room details and costs, more on offsite activities, how well does the staff keep the place up, ect..

Yes, I like a nice hotel with nice beds and shower facilities. Also, security is an issue. Can you get into that and the cost of the room itself? Is the fee for the girl on top of your room fee?

I go to the DR about twice a year. Was at Oxygen in Sept and will be going back to DR in Jan. BB is probably not my thing but I might try it for one night on my way to another resort.
Is the place clean and safe?

I am seriously considering DR and BB the beginning of December...I'll be visiting the US and Miami for about 10 days and want to throw in a little diversion that is not too far away. Unfortunately traveling the end of the year is a little too expensive from where I live (Rio), plus the double elite mile promotion on AA ends on December 15th so I want to get my trip in before then...

But I can get into plenty of trouble by myself :-) Any reports from other travels in the meantime would be great.

Fletch: I read and commented on your 0xygen Retreat thread. Yes indeed BB's is safe and clean. Try not to stumble across all the maids cleaning and mopping when you are going up and down the stairs between your room and the pool/bar area during the day.
From everything I could glean from your O Retreat post it seems that BB's is set up somewhat similar only maybe the Bitches aren't quite as hot and its pay as you go for food and drinks at BB's not all inclusive. Not including the rigidly enforced $40 bucks for ST (couple of hours) and $80 for TLN you could eat and drink there including a few drinks for your Bitches, for absolutely no more than $75 bucks a day. Add a few bucks if you decide to tip for exceptional service, not required and they aren't allowed to ask for it.
I realize that this place seems too good to be true for the price but many hundreds of guys have stayed there. One guy I met was on his 12th trip and several others were there for their 5th or 6th trip, etc. Place wasn't that busy when I was there in late May 2009.
I had dinner with this one guy who's building a condo down there and this is where he sleeps at night before heading off to his work site. He had a 4some his 1st nite there then did nothing for the next 4 days, just went to work and came back after dark for a hot meal, hot shower, sleep, and then back to the job site again by 0700. Its that kind of place. Really laid back, plenty of Bitches too.
Naturally, I'll do another complete trip report in January 2010 and skewer them if it looks like they're sliding, but doubt that will happen. Let's hear from more guys.

Geo: Thanks for the nice BB summary.I'm think of going for a quick 3 nights Jan 12-15 with 3-6 buddies. Some of them want me to reduce the cost as O2 is great but some of them can only budget that once a year. That is why I am looking at BB. What is your opinion on the looks and performence of the chicas.
A new resort has recently opened. The guy who used to manage O2 opened his own place www.blueparadisedr.com It looks to be similar in pricing and quality to O2. I may try BP for one night and BB for two nights or something like that.

I have definitely enjoyed Blackbeards in both my stays there - once last year, and most recently in July of this year. Talent is decent, and the girls are generally fun and agressively push for your business. The one caveat - just about every girl in July had adopted a condom blow job policy all of a sudden - though most would relent if you insisted otherwise. We were told this was because some medical expert had come through there recently and given some kind of talk about the dangers of bareback blow jobs. So just be advised that you might have to deal with that issue if you go there.

Fletch: Not having been to O2 I would assume an effort was made to offer only the hottest Bitches there given the higher cost. Most likely you will fine the BB's babes not quite as hot, but there was plenty to choose from that were more than acceptable. Fletch: I just checked out that blueparadise website. DUDE! The owner wants between $6,000 up to $8,000 for a 6 day package. Includes supposedly 15 to 20 Bitches depending on the package. These Bitches would all have to be smoking hot Colombians with pussies lined with gold for that kind of money.
O2 was expensive but not like this. Sorry, I can't ever see going to a clip joint like that. That's just wrong. Assuming I had enough energy to do 15 Bitches at BB's (I did 8 in 3 days last time)in 6 days, I calculate my cost to be no more than $2,500 INCLUDING my flight and really throwing some money around.

I could best describe them as somewhere between GFE and PSE, I found I either enjoyed the BBBJ or the sex more as can be expected each girl had her strengths and weaknesses.

I have a small report coming but i went to BlackBeard's resort in costambar the other night to check the place out and i was desappointed to say the least.
Honestly, don't don't jack shit about the old good times in DR or this place but i can say for sure its overated and overpriced.
Decided to check this beauty contest and was nothing to brag about. then, grabbed this "mulatta" looking gal with big tits and ass for the night; well, it was nothing i expected. after a short time in bed and some grabbing and teasing, she just went to sleep?@!>? WTF !!!! after a while i ended up kicking the bitch out of the room early morning. all you heard and read about the girls been keep on a leash and check by "mamasans" in this place is "bull" !!!! i would gladly take my chances on cilante ave bars and discos over there (disco 59, etc..)
on top the restaurant service is shit !!! so i ended leaving without having a b'fast and went back to my hotel in sosua.
i did leave a nice note on the comments form for the managers in the input box, don't expect nothing to change and he probably cleaned his butt with it !!! basically i told then this was my first and last time i come here, first impressions last forever, no 2nd chances for first impressions and so forth ....
