What's up guys. I landed around 9:30am. In San Jose. No problems going through immigration. Picked up my bag and out the door to the taxis. First one wanted $30 to the Rey (CH Link). Next one said $25. I was saying $20. I went for $25.

Get to the Rey and checked in. Few ladies but nothing exciting plus this isn't my first time so I can wait. Head upstairs and take a nap actually. Usually the adrenaline is kicking but I must be getting used to this. This was a reoccurring theme for me all day.

Woke up decided to go down the street and get supplies for the fridge. Saw an old girl I spent time with looking good she said "why u no text me anymore" I told her she's too expensive and I liked her too much. Then I told her I'd take her for free we laughed. Hit the ampm. Put a $100 deposit on the fridge (had to be on a cc) and stocked it.

The wifi is temperamental in my room which is a first. Usually no problems. Picked up a few kolbi tarjetas and loaded my unlocked iPhone. Figured that'll be my go to instead of relying on wifi. By this time I'm getting hungry. I'm ok with the food at the Rey but I really enjoy the esquina steakhouse a few blocks away. Walked down there sat at the bar and had an amazing dinner.
Came back and picked up a 19 yr old no kids (she says) $60. She was young and inexperienced so I ran it. Bbbj all positions. Took a shower and back downstairs by this time it's popping. Feeling lonely I start up conversation with some fellow gringos and watch the action.
As I said just not too excited this time. I've been here 9 times in the past year. Hit up a few more girls they all say $100 then $80 is the minimum. Usually I drop $80. This time I found another for $60. It was rushed but BBBJ all positions. Got my nut off she dodged the shit out of it. Fucker.
Hit the del mar for some chicken soup and to bed. Gonna try and post pics. This is my first report.

You should venture out of your comfort zone, 9 times in a year to a 2nd or 3rd tier place like San Jose says you should gut up and go to Rio or Columbia.

The Far East would yield lower cost women and more consistent level of performance.

I would have to say that there is no upside.
There is just to much criticism on all aspects of a report.
The girls you choose,how much you paid, how it's written and anything else that can be critiqued. Let us not forget the guys that out you to the girls by showing them pictures you took.
I just spent almost two month in LOS and The Philippines.
I had a blast. Heading back to colombia in September for a month.
It takes a lot of time to put a report together and to what end.

In the 90s, monger boards were totally new, so trip reports on just about anywhere were good information. Most of the info was new to everyone.

In the 00s, places like Brasil, Colombia and others were discovered by mongers. Most of the info was new to everyone, but reports about the more well-known spots, like Mexican border towns, was already stale and boring to most readers.

In the 10s, no new places have broken out, and guys seem to be taking fewer trips. So, most of the info is already known, and there isn't much of a point in new reports. You can write a report about the girls and everything, but it's just stale and boring to most of us. Particularly for a paint-by-numbers spot like San Jose.

I appreciate the fact that full-blown reports take a lot of work. And that it's increasingly hard to offer new information. And that posting pics can bite you on the ass thanks to the cunts who feel compelled to share them with the girls.

But it's still refreshing when someone like PV offers up his latest views on trends in AC. Or even if someone can provide a fairly objective review of the scene in San Jose. Or when someone can give a 10-year retrospective on changes in a locale. The information provided is useful, and that's the point of the board.

There are guys that will dump on anything and everything posted. So what! Grow some balls, and tell them to go fuck themselves. I know longer worry about the girls finding out about photos. It's not as though I plan to propose to one of them. If one gets pissed off, I'll find 10 others to fuck.

My kudos to anyone who shares their reactions to their hobby experiences.

I agree with BD. Do people really care that much if someone is critical of what they write? Maybe lots of people are younger than me. I feel like my experience growing up prepared me for people that don't have positive stuff to say. It seems the younger generations are more sensitive about that stuff and are more inclined to withdraw than stand their ground.

I know I'm not a very talented writer, but I don't write with the sole purpose of entertaining other people. I've found that the trips that I write about are more memorable and more valuable to me as some of the details fade. Some of the pictures I've taken but never wrote about I don't even recognize any more, but the ones I've even just written a little about are still there with me.

There is an upside to recording your experience. It helps to imprint those memories in your head. And it's better than sitting around in silence because you're worried about what someone you'll probably never meet has to complain about.

I enjoy writing trip reports, and it helps me remember. If I just look at the cache of photos I have, I can't place many of them. My reports are living memories. Doesn't matter to me if Blazers or anyone else doesn't think the girls I was with are attractive, all that matters is what I think of them.

I have learned valuable information from the reports of those who have gone before me, even when I've been to that place a few times. And it's always good to have current intel. Too bad that the stream of reports has dried up.

Recently an asshole on the board showed pictures from my trip report to one of the girls I enjoyed. This could compromise my safety on returning to Colombia. These girls can get quite upset, and some have friends who kill easily....

A pity we have a few no-dick cunts who think some puta will love them forever if they rat out another board member. I'm not a violent guy, but I would kick the shit out of any pussy I found doing that.

I concur with both Bwana-dik and CFK. Sorry to hear that an asshole might have created issues of safety for you. I support self-cleansing by board members and retribution for bad actions.

With regard to content, I appreciate all that has been written in the past. I will contribute in the future from my travels outside of Rio, Medellin, Lima and San Jose. I tend to get more off the beaten path as I enjoy not hearing American English for weeks on end. There is still wonder when you step outside of the 'norm'.
