Called the Fraud Centre for my bank.
This was to get my Visa card re-activated.
After breakfast and a long walk, rested a little until "Annie's Soapies" (CH Link) opened at Noon.
This was recommended by a fellow CH member.
6 girls there. A few were young & cute.
But the place was abit of a dump!
But I was after a hard massage as well so took #7 named "Ginn".
Paid 2,500.
After the nude body slide and bath she did do a SUPER job getting some knots out.
Especially my shoulder blade and back bone that she spent like 20+ minutes on it, and then even my feet.
I did NOT want a Special or Happy Ending.
Then a 200 Baht taxi ride to one of my favourite restaurants "Cabbages & Condoms".
I pigged out. Paid 1,624 for that onslaught!
I love how they have water been misted into the fans for the cooling effect.
See photos that follow.
The place was 3/4 full.
Paid a tuk-tuk dude 160 to take me back.

Shoot the person who recommended Annie's. It's convenient to the Majestic Grande but has been awful for at least a decade. There are many very good places around Asoke for genuine Thai massage at a much better price.

And I love how at Cabbages and Condoms they give you condoms instead of after-dinner mints at the end of your meal.
If you head back to BKK, let me know. I can give names and addresses of several world-class Thai restaurants that will amaze you.

Mr. Bwana_dik,
Yes! Going to "Annie's" was a mistake.
I would love to get the resto information from you. I have another 500K points I gotta' burn in the next 3 years, so a return to BKK is a definite.

Here are three really good Thai restaurants:
Taling Pling, on Sukhumvit Soi 34
http://talingpling.com/web4/taling4.html
The Local, on Sukhumvit Soi 23 (near Soi Cowboy)

Baan Khanitha, also on Sukhumvit Soi 23

And if you like Indian food, the restaurant in the lobby of the Majestic Grande (The Great Kabob Factory) is actually very, very good.
Rang Mahal, top floor of the Rembrandt Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 18, is spectacular and has great views and entertainment.

Thank you Bwana_dik.
If you read my Day 4: Part II, you would have found that I did eat at the above Indian restaurant.
It was good, but certainly not great.
