Got up around 10:00am, and lounged around until George picked me up at 11:30. Said goodbye to Na, who kept saying :"You don't forget Na, you don't forget Na" I knew in all likelihood that I would never see her again. But that's the way it goes. Drove out to the Thai Country Club, which is a solid hour outside of Bangkok, halfway to Pattaya. [In retrospect, I was tempted to go to Pattaya for just a night after the 18 holes since I was halfway there; maybe next time] It is strictly a members-only club, only hotel guests and member's guests can play and then only during the week; on the weekends it's members only. George's company has a deal with them, that's the only way a non-member, non-hotel guest can play this course (I later confirmed that when I tried to book a tee-time for Thursday) It's also the most expensive course in Thailand and considered to be the best-maintained. It's claim to fame is Tiger Woods won a tournament there a few years ago (97 or 98).
Upon arrival, you can tell they went all out - the clubhouse is one of the best I've ever seen and the grounds are perfect. Everything is perfect - right down to the last detail. The course was deserted - I was told the place is hopping on weekends, but the high price and distance from Bangkok doesn't attract players during the week. When you stop at the rest kiosk every few holes, they immediately offer you a cold towel. The caddie I had was real fun, she started betting against my skills on the last few holes - usually a good bet, but my game was really on and I wound up winning 320 baht. (Of course I gave it back to her, along with a 1,000 baht tip). Upon exiting the 18th hole, you sit down and relax with drinks, before even heading into the locker room. I then entered the biggest shower stall I've ever seen - each "stall" was a two-part granite room with the shower consisting of 7 showerheads. This place is first class all-the-way. When I stepped out of the locker room, George was there and had already loaded my clubs into the car. Had a nice trip back to Bangkok - this was the last course I had booked through George. Said my goodbyes at the Omni, headed upstairs and relaxed before hitting Soi Cowboy and hooking up with Nat.
Check my emails downstairs before taking a taxi to the Long Gun. Within seconds of entering and sitting down, Nat came over and punched me, asking where I had been since Sunday. Now remember, on Sunday she said her mother was in, and she didn't know if she was available - but now it's my fault for not showing up. I tell her is she's available I'd like to take her out tonite. She says she has to dance one set here and at Rawhide and we'll leave at 10:30. I say that's fine and settle back for the next hour. At some point, another bar girl comes over, one I'm not attracted to, and starts with the "what your name, where you from" routine. I tell her I'm waiting for Nat, but being the friendly guy that I am, I buy her a drink and we talk a little. I buy her friend a drink and talk some more, waiting for 10:30 to roll around. Well 10:30 comes and no Nat. Then it's 11:00, 11:30 and I'm wondering what the fuck is going on. I don't see her anywhere in the place and I'm starting to get pissed. I ask the mama-san, who asks me her number, but they don't wear numbers at the Long Gun and she doesn't know any Nat. Says my description sounds like Ohm, but I say her name isn't Ohm and that's ok. I figure I'll give her 'til midnight and then I'm taking someone else. Midnight comes, no Nat, and I've had my eye on this tall girl with major c-cups. I even remembered her from November. I have a waitress call her over, we have a drink and Born, a 27 year-old from Isaan and I agree on 2,000 baht 'til 6:00am. We head over to the Omni, her English is ok, she's not very talkative and right now I'm just in the mood for a fuck. We take showers and hit the bed. Born had a great body, except for some stretch marks caused by her 9 year-old. She gives a very good BBBJ, then I move onto DATY, cowgirl and doggie-style. Overall, a very nice performance. We go to sleep and at 6:00am, I'm awakened by her lips on my unit, not a bad way to wake up. She performs another stellar BBBJ and I finish in her mouth. She washes up and tells me she had a great time, but she's leaving later today for a few days in Isaan. I bid her a good journey, and went back to sleep.

Wallstreet, what's with all the caddies wearing Hazmat suits? I find it hilariously odd.

Murasaki,
It's protection from the sun. Everyone who works there is covered, and the grounds workers even cover their faces - all you see are the eyes. This was standard at every course.

The Thais have a saying: "Westerners fear the rain, but Thais fear the sun." All the Thais cover up outdoors...it's also a cultural/ettiquette thing.

I thought it was hot as hell over in Thailand, I surprised somebody wearing all that crap doesn't have a heat stroke.

Dark skin is a loss of face, partic. on women. Japanese men really gp for light skinned asians. Look at the girls in a bar and you will ofte see light make-up down to the shoulders.

I also notice skin lightening products sold in the Thai drug stores and advertised on Thai TV.
The ad campaign was some kind of paradoxical line about "being natural" if I remember correctly.

Japanese pharmaceutical companies are spending huge amounts of money trying to develop a skin lightning pill. They have several promising research leads. They know that whichever company is first to market with such a pill will make billions in the Asian market. You will likely see such a product within the next 5 years. Imagine the impact that will have in countries like Thailand.
