After spending 24 hours on 3 flights I finally arrive in Manila. I was delighted to see that the driver from the Orchid Inn is waiting for me at the Manila airport. We made the trip to Angeles in just less than 2 hours. According to the driver this is as good as it gets.
Upon arriving in Angeles my first impression of the town is not good. Angeles is a dirty, run down town with very few businesses that have any curb appeal at all. Anybody thinking of making a trip to Angeles should not be expecting anything that resembles a resort experience.
Upon arriving at the Orchid Inn the entrance is not very inviting but things improved as I made my way back through the courtyard to the Jasmine wing. By Angeles standards the Orchid Inn is expensive at $45us for a superior room. The rooms are not great but are acceptable.
The first night I made a quick tour of about 6 of the main bars along Fields Avenue. All the bars had a good selection of girls. Each bar had 2 or 3 girls that I would rate as being in the 7-8 out of 10 range. In the first bar I entered I found myself sitting alone for about 20 minutes. This is very different from what I am accustomed to in Thailand where normally a girl will sit down at your table shortly after entering the bar. At first I did not like this but I quickly changed my mind as this gave me more control over which girl I wanted to spend my time with. At most bars in Angeles the mammasan or a waitress will ask you if there are any girls they can bring over to your table. This avoids the awkward situation of trying to get rid of an unappealing girl who may have taken the initiative to sit at your table.
For my first night I decided to take a girl from the Brown Sugar bar named Maricel. The picture below is a bad picture of a beautiful young lady. We had a good session in bed. After this first session and a very long travel day I was ready for a good 12-hour sleep. At 1000 pesos to cover the bar fine and the girl of your choice for the entire night Angeles is an unbelievable bargain.

Massage Scene in Angeles
U&I
This place is disgusting. Very dirty and run down. Shower has cold water only. Basic massage is 250p. HJ is available for 300p extra. U&I is located at the corner of First Avenue and Macarthur (behind Shell gas station)
Japanese
Located on south side of Fields avenue just west of Macarthur. Bath and massage for 500p. No extras available here. Massage is average.
Roman Health Club
Average massage. Extras were offered but at very high prices. (1500/2500). Basic massage is 500p. I decided to decline the offer of extra services and instead drop by Santos Avenue for a quick mid afternoon BJ. The Roman Health Club is located on Henifel Street about 100m west of Macarthur.
BodyTite
This was by far the best massage I had in Angeles. There is no privacy and no extra services. Basic massage is 300p. The BodyTite massage shop is located on the second floor of the group of shops at the corner of Fields and Macarthur.
Santos Avenue Bars
Santos Avenue has a collection of about 10 third-rate bars. Each bar has about 3 or 4 girls that could also be described as third rate. A few ladyboys were also spotted. These bars are recommended only for daytime BJ. Price is 300-500p.
Conclusions on Angeles
Angeles has a wealth of bars and girls at very low prices. There are a lot of average looking girls but there are enough good lookers in most of the major bars. The sessions with the ladies are usually overnight so there is never any hurry to conclude the experience and get back to the bar. Choose early to get the best lookers. The majority of hotels and restaurants are at the low end of the scale. Angeles is definitely not a resort. Daytime diversions are limited. A good massage is possible but the massage scene doesn’t compare with that of Bangkok. Bring your own condoms as the man is generally expected to supply them.

Manila
The trip back to Manila took 3.5 hours. Construction along the main road made the entire trip stop and go. It is a good thing that I didn’t have a flight to catch.
Checked into the Heritage Hotel on EDSA blvd right across the street from the EDSA entertainment complex. At $64 us per night booked through AsiaTravel.com the Heritage is not cheap but this is not a bad deal for a 4 star hotel. There was no problem at all bringing a lady back to the Heritage Hotel.
I spent the afternoon touring various parts of Manila. There are definitely a lot more daytime diversions in Manila although I think Bangkok is a much more interesting city. I must say that I was shocked by the poverty in some areas of Manila.
A trip to an open market anywhere in Asia is always entertaining.
I also spent a few hours touring the Intramuros historic site.
Sorry to get off topic there. Back to the sex scene.
At about 8pm I headed out to the Edsa entertainment complex. Although the Heritage Hotel is very close the walk does require crossing EDSA blvd. This is not for the fant of heart as there are no apparent provisions for pedestrians crossing the street.
My first stop was the Cotton Club. I met up with an American there who gave me a few pointers.
His advice was :
1. Never tell any of the girls there that this is your first visit to Manila. Apparently their fees double for first timers.
2. Don't get roped into buying ladies drinks. The girls want to be bar fined and don't really care about the drinks. The mamassans do push the drinks very hard
3. Be very suspicious of anybody hanging outside the EDSA complex or along EDSA blvd. Anybody hanging out here is up to no good. They are pickpockets and tour guides who only want to give you a tour of some back alley where a couple of his buddies are waiting.
I picked out a girl from the Cotton club named Cammile. Price was 1000p bar fine plus 1000p for the girl for a short time session. This girl didn't look nearly as good in my room as she did in the bar. Had an ok session nonetheless.
Today I hit the jackpot. I chose a 19 year old named Pamela from the Pit Stop. This girl was very attractive, friendly and incredible in bed. Although we had agreed on a short time session, Pamela insisted on staying for a second round in bed. Of course I didn't object. In fact Pam wanted to stay for round #3 but after six straight days of constant women I didn't have it in me. This experience was the highlight of this trip. Once again the price was 1000p+1000p for a short time session, which ended up lasting 3.5 hours.

Today I had another good session with Lizzele from the Firehouse bar, although not as good as the previous day. I think I'm getting spoiled now!

I think that my decision to spend 4 days in Angeles and 3 days in Manila was perfect. Although Manila is a lot more expensive than Angeles it is still quite a bargain in comparison to other destinations. There were more attractive girls in the Manila bars but I didn't have any problems finding a girl to my liking in Angeles. In Angeles it is pretty well assumed that your lady will be spending the entire night. In Manila you should make sure to specify whether you want the ladies company for the entire night. All girls I encountered were friendly, had a good attitude and spoke excellent English. I am not sure when I will return to the Philippines as there are still a lot destinations to be explored.
Future trips include a return to Thailand in July and trip to Rio de Janeiro this fall.
