I think the description of how one rates photos is interesting.

Most important for me is kissability. The face takes precedence over the body. Nude or clothed usually makes no difference, but I might give a point if it's a particularly nice nude. Color of skin does not matter, but I lean towards the lighter skinned girls. I've given 9's and 10's to Asians, Caucasians, Blacks, and Latinas. I don't think I've given anything lower than a 5.

One of my favorite photos is Mona. I gave her a 10.

I was just looking back at some early (< 1000) numbered photos and I can say the quality of the photos on the board has steadily improved. Guess the digital age has helped but the expansion into other areas than TJ has contributed as well.

The professional media features nothing but 10's in all of the magazines and commercials. We as amateur hobbyists cannot hope to compete with the pro models and pro photographers.

It is my opinion that the reason for the relatively low scores on this board is that "subconsiously" the voters compare our amateur productions with professional models and photographers.

Dongringo, you are correct that we cannot even remotely compare our pics with that of pros as they have lighting, makeup artists, backgrounds and much better cameras. The ratings are low because some guys are bitter, envious or just angry and like to take out their frustrations by rating beautiful girls 6's and 7's. It makes them feel as if they can actually be with girls like that in the real world...normally they cannot. In addition, These girls also do not benefit from air brushing and blemishes being erased with simple computer programs. I am also picky and dont throw around 10's very often but beauty is beauty. I don't expect mongers to have the girls in multiple porno poses with school girl outfits...although, that would be nice. I also realize that Brazilianas allow nude photos and SE Asian GIrls rarely do. As such, you see a huge disparity in the ratings system.
