It's been three weeks since my return from LoS and even though I was getting bummed by the bar scene whike I was there, I am now back to wishing I was leaving to go back tomorrow ! Not just to see my new sweetie, Da , but to resume my mongering career. The worst go go ( Cascade and Casanova excluded) in Thailand beats the best strip club in the US by far-- IMHO.
Speaking of Casanova , I am still horrified that I enjoyed my disco grinding and DFK'ing session with what turned out to be a katoey. She was damn sexy but I keep thinking about her tongue scratching my tonsils. Purachai should pass a law that all katoey wear big warning labels on their foreheads.
However, thinking back on how much I was enjoying the kiss before I knew who was in my mouth, I cannot help but wonder what a BBBJ from one of the hot katoeys must be like. Obviously " she " would have to keep her pants on if pre op, but I think it may be a fabntastic experience if you can get beyond the thought of who is blowing you. This hottie or the spinner hottie katoey from Mandarin would be my choice for experiment for sure. There must be something these " girls " offer. Plenty of guys knowingly barfine them - others likely never have a clue.Anyone out there with any experience in this area and willing to risk ridicule- not from me BTW- to share their thoughts ??
As a reminder of how suddenly violent Thailand can be-- not meant to scare, just inform- let me relate a small event from last trip.
I was sitting in Golden Bar Beer at Nana on the last day of Songkran. Not too much water fighting - a few kids and die hard farang only. The Thai mafia was still selling their super soakers with few buyers, so they got the little pestering street urchins to put down their flowers and gum and start soaking passres by to try to drum up business. Was not working- everyone Songkraned out !!! This old Japanese dude in a traditional silk robe and sandals came walking up Soi 4. He looked like Something out of Karate Kid- had to be well over 60. The kids attacked him with there soakers. He tried to say no and was very upset. He started to try to run forward and pushed one of the little monsters out of his way. The kid fell down but was not hurt.Three teenagers from the mafia group who were sitting on the sidewalk eating and drinking - Mekong ?- jumped up and surrounded this poor old man. One shoved him another punced him violently in the side of the head , knocking him on his butt. The other punk circled around and delivered a well aimed full kick to his jaw while he was down. The old dude was out cold for 5-10 minutes at least. I thought he was dead. The bar girls were all screaming at these young punks and tried to call the Police but that is a joke in Thailand. Never got thru before the punks were in a taxi and gone. We tried to get the taxi to stop and not take them but driver did not care. I feel guilty about not doing something to hold these idiots, but I have learned a long time ago not to get involved in ANY fight with a Thai . You will quickly become outnumbered and will never win.Best to let other Thai people handle it if they want to. If not-- TIT !!! The girls did try to help. Even Bun- the incredibly sexy hostess from Nana Restaurant- was out in the street yelling at these guys and trying to stop taxi. As I have said before, I have seen many violent fights in Thailand over my years there and the farang NEVER comes out on top. It is sudenly him against every other Thai dude around more often than not.
Back to poo ying--
This is mostly for Murasaki since he knows Ya and what she is like. After a very tearful breakup with Ya ,and her telling me she hated me and never wanted to see me again,she is now e mailing again and says she does not care if I have another girl. She still wants to see me when I come back to Thailand. So Murasaki- when I go back in Nov. I can still have my YaDaYaDaYaDa trip !! LOL!! I never even thought about the combo until Mr Purple brought it up. It really is funny.
Just some musings from a monger who misses Thailand too much and is too far away from the face that follows in these pics. I actually have two Thai girls in LA that I see, but they cannot hold a candle to this one. Here are a few more pics from MBK and hoten room. Hope you are not bored.

Your random thoughts and rambling (as well as the pictures of Da) are always enjoyable. I have never understood why a go-go mixes katoeys in with real girls. It seems to me that if you want a katoey, then go to a katoey bar. What is the benefit to a bar when a customer, who paid a bar-fine, finds out his dream-girl isn't the real deal? In the litigious society we live in, could you imagine the lawsuits if you went to a legal brothel in Nevada, paid for a girl, took her to bed and then found out that she was a he?
With that said and done, I may have some insight on what a BBBJ would be like from a mouth that is not 100% female. In the late '80s, I had a 6-month project in Toulouse, France. I got along great with the guys I was working with and used to party with them, especially on the weekends. One Saturday night after a lot of wine and Morrocan Hash, about 6 of us went to a private sex club. There were several rooms where all types of debauchery was taking place, but the room that intrigued me the most was the one with the "Glory Hole". That was sorta my point about the katoey not removing too much clothing-- as long as " she " was a stunner not an obvious katoey. I wonder if I would have the cajones to go thru with it ?? The katoey's who dance in the regular clubs are really trying to be women in every sense and actually consider thenselves to be women. That is why they are not upfront with the customers.They think they are every bit as good as the girls if not better. They are allowed to work there as Thai society tolerates them and in some measure actually embraces them. The Thai mamasans would find your objections to their presence to be puzzling. The katoey that DFK'd me was not in a go go but just dancing in the disco. Several Thai guys also kissed her and she actually came in with a Thai boyfriend. He was getting pissed at her for all her flirting. All the Thai people knew she was a katoey. They seem to have a totally different attitude than we do. More laid back and " mai bpen rai " as usual. It's all about having fun and having a good time.

A few notes from me on the subject of katoeys.Every time I go to LOS(my 4th trip coming up in August)just about every night I see a seemingly unaware western guy with a katoey.I also notice the half hidden smirks on the Thai people faces as they know the guy is unaware he is getting fooled.I feel a bit sorry for these guys,but as someone already said some of these katoeys could fool anybody.There are many things to look for to tell,but some these post-ops get all kinds of operation like getting their adams apple removed.Usually I look at the head size,but there really is no sure-fire way to tell in every case.My rule of thumb is if I have a question about the sex,then I'm probably right.If I'm not then oh well.A Thai girl that looks like a katoey is probaby in wrong business anyway.I don't think its anything to get paranoid about,but you do have to watch yourself there.

Ive been planning on a trip to Rio in june-july but after reading all the BKK trip reports I am torn between the two destinations, although i am thinking that late june, early july might be a little too hot for thailand? I was thinking of hitting BKK over thanksgiving, any thoughts on that time of year?

Travis-- Thanks for the compliments. the answer is a little of both . As many have pointed out- Thai girls are not photogenic in general. Da is a bit of an exception, but even in her case she is really better looking in person than in her pics. She is a natural in front of the camera however and it shows in the pictures. I cannot take any credit for that.

June -July in Thailand not only hot but the middle of rainy season. Not the best time for weather but everything is cheaper due to low tourist volume. I have been there at that time and it is not too bad. The rain comes and goes fairly quickly. November is THE best time in terms of climate. Starting to cool off a little bit. Thailand cool is not all that cool. More important the dry season is starting and high tourist season not quite started. Many of us seem to be planning on being there this November if you are looking to hook up with vets.

Was planning on November, but she is giving me all kinds of shit about being there for her birthday in early October. She will turn 21-- a big day for her I guess. Not a done deed yet. As I told Murasaki- I am going thru this great internal debate about whether to return to Da or resume my previous butteerfly ways. Obvious advantages to both. It depends on what I decide to do on this trip. If I want to have Da and keep her happy-- showing up for her B-day would be in order. If I resume playing the field I will match your departure. There is still plenty of time to decide.
I also would look forward to meeting you, but I think Da has a little more to offer-- nothing personal. LOL

Best of luck to you. I have been through the K1 as well as the K3 process. Our government is so inefficient and you will put one piece of data on several applications several different times (a signficant amount of data redundancy). I want to rip my hair out some times. Then again I have never used a lawyer.

My wife was never a 'working girl'. She was college educated and came from a pretty weel to do family by Thai Standards. So far it has worked out extremely well from a relationship standpoint for the last several years. She had problems adjusting to US culture just like I am sure that I will have a hard time adjusting to Thai culture when we move back there permanately in about 7 years. We also have a little boy that keeps her pretty busy in the states. This will probably be the number 1 problem that you will encounter will be that your 'Sweetie' will become very bored. I have managed to keep my wife busy with the child, school, and work (her idea)

Sorry it took awhile for my reply.

We just got our notice of action today--approved. It took about 4 months, which is not bad consdidering the window of time was 200-235 days for this phase.

We also have a young child (a girl), so that will be her primary job and hopefully can help to fight any boredom. I also plan on her going to school and she can choose to work if there is time and energy to manage everything else. I am going back to Thailand soon to visit her. I (like you) am not using a lawyer.
