RIO Arrival and Day One
Before departing I went through my checklist. Passport and visa..check. Money…check. Plastic peso…check. Vigel, escalate, pocket rocket, chocolate…check. Anything else I can get while I am there. Hombres … thanks for all the help on taking the right stuff.
The trip was long…what else is new. I won´t go into mundane details about a sick cat before leaving, delayed take off at MIA, but arrived safe and sound in Rio, almost on time. Don´s driver was there and picked up three members of this board that are using his services. Before long Don will be chartering planes to carry the vast number of fellow mongers coming to paradise.
Day one. After getting settled into the apartment it was a shower and off to the office…I mean Alcazar. I think there were nine hombres there and at three seven of us headed to 4X4 for this rookie´s introduction to life in the terma. I must say it was everything I thought it would be and more. Four by Four is huge. I am glad Don was there to show us the place. A man could get lost in there.
Using Don´s services seems to be a wise investment so far. I recommend him and his folks to all newbies!!!!
My first session was with a nice little lady that had checked my tonsils before we headed to the cabin. I opted for the one hour 150 reals session versus the 40 minute 130 reals session. Sula provided a wonderful session, GFE, BBBJ, DATY, multiple positions and, yes, she is a three holer. Maybe it would be nicer to say complete satisfaction. A duet in the shower was nice and so was the brief massage before time ran out. Having sessioned before five my entry few was waived.
As the six o´clock hour arrived the place was getting very crowded. The new VIP bar opened at 4X4 is a fantastic place to get away from the crowd and noise. Again, thanks to Don, we knew about the VIP bar. It costs an additional ten reals to get the VIP pass….but a session before five and that too is waived. At seven they have a nice show, the noise goes up and the clothes come off a couple of ladies on the stage. Nicely done show with good music and beautiful ladies.
My second session was with a blonde that was a bit aggressive. Read that as not as good looking as some of the other garotas. She did have a nice body and provided wonderful service in the cabin. This time I opted for the 130 real and 40 minute session. Smaller cabin….very small cabin. GFE, BBBJ, DATY, multiple positions….not a three holer. Alas, what can you expect of 40 dollars?
The real was 2.98 at the ATM….life is good. Off to see some of the touristy sights today. If I get good pics may post those for that want to show folks what ¨you¨ did in Rio.
LIFE IS GOOD.

No matter what some people will say, hiring someone like Don is a good move for someone who is going for the first time and doesn't speak Portuguese. You get more than a "guide", and when you add up all of the other cost related items, all of the money he saves you, all of the things he can set-up for you, and all of the people he can introduce you to, you really start to get into "wash" territory. Some people refuse to understand that though.
Looking forward to the rest.

But then again - "I think there were nine hombres there and at three seven of us headed to 4X4" Ouch! It's cool to hit termas with friends, but as part of a large group of newbies? That's just embarassing, no?
I think the agencies are ok for those who need them, just don't think that many newbies really do need them; plus I really dislike the Americano sterotype they perpetuate (hordes of mindless mongers). It's much cooler to hook up with some other vacationers in the buddy section and do it your self.
Am glad to hear all is well in Rio, amigo.... Keep the reports coming.

Dribbles, curious why you are embarrassed to be with a group of guys? Terma 4x4 only has 2 or 3 hundred clients in a day. You think they are all watching you? And how would they know if they guys were friends or newbie buddies? Makes no sense. Ouch!

As a rookie in Rio there was safety and security in numbers. In the suite with the young ladies...there were no other hombres. The size of 4X4 easily absorbs a group of nine (or more). If you like wasting time and money...go it alone. If you are headed here for fun and mongering use Don...consider it an investment...the returns are wonderful.

Dribbles,
When there are 50 garotas in the boite and only a couple of guys, you kind of feel like the guys thrown to the lions by the Romans! As long as the guys don't outnumber the girls (or cabini) I say go as a group whenever you can, it's a lot more fun than hanging out with one girl by yourself. I did both methods and I much prefered being with a small group (10 is a lot, though).
By the way, from what I have noticed just about anywheres, girls tend to like it when a group of guys walks in. It gets everyone busy and really kicks up the energy level. You have to have guest s over for a party to really get going

I'd like to know more about the VIP bar. How does it differ from the main one? What else does it have going for besides being less crowded?
