I liked the Suites Reforma overall, but decided to stay at the Holiday Inn for the final day of my trip. It was about $32 US more expensive, but was a little more comfortable, plus had the safe and a free shuttle to the airport. I walked over to an iCafe to schedule online for additional Priority Club points which could be converted to AA miles, then packed up my stuff and headed on over.

I walked around Zone 10 for a while and made my way over to Elite to verify the address and location. I hadn't visited yet as my expectations were very low, but I planned to stop by in the evening. After snapping a picture a walked to Avenida Reforma to catch a bus up to Calle 1 to visit some Botanical Gardens, then walked to the museums recommended by Lonely Planet at the end of Calle 6a.

A club called Princess or Paris was supposed to be nearby to the south, but I couldn't located it from the directions I had. The address did not seem to exist. Where the address should have been was taken up by some large site which appeared to have some military significance. It was late afternoon and I had a little time to explore the zoo in Zone 13 if I wanted, but instead I chose to walk back to the hotel and rest up for the evenings adventures.

I had stopped in practically every place that I wanted to visit, bypassing only Oasis because it looked dead and Caribe because it looked scary, so the rest of the evening was mostly deciding where I wanted to return to. My only new visit planned for the evening was Elite.

Paradise was my first stop. I decided on Paradise because I hadn't visited with any of the ladies there and thought the placed had a lot of potential with it's bright lighting and relaxed atmosphere. Two ladies immediately stood out. One was the voluptuous, fair-skinned redhead I had seen from my Friday visit. I thought to myself that if you squinted your eyes that she looked like the redhead at Casa Marujas on Saturday. Both had a look that reminded me of Jessica Rabbit. (Yes, a cartoon character) In searching the web for Jessica Rabbit, I actually came across the picture of Heidi Klum in a Jessica Rabbit getup that approximates the look (but not dress) of the redheads from Paradise and Marujas.

The other attractive lady was a conservatively dressed beauty with tan skin and long brown hair with blond highlights. Dressed in long pants and a jacket, she looked a little out of place among the more seductively dressed ladies.

I spent a decent amount of time drinking and trying to decide between the two ladies for a short jaunt. I preferred the redhead on pure sex appeal, but she seemed aloof and uninterested and hardly looked in my direction. After a long period of indecisiveness, the other lady approached when I smiled at her and asked if she could sit with me...decision was made.

The young lady that joined me was from El Salvador, and we spoke for a while over a couple of drinks before I asked her upstairs. The price was a fair 350Q ($44), though I gave her a little extra in the form of an unexpected tip for a performance well done.

Afterwards, I walked over to Caprichos for a last look at the popular club and to see the level of talent that was working. I had recalled a couple from my first visit that were very attractive that I hadn't seen again. I also wanted another look at the Russians to see if familiarity would warm them up to me at all. When I arrived, they were charging a cover despite it not being a very busy night, I think I had to pay 50Q to get in ($6 US). Unfortunately I didn't get much for the cover. The talent level for Monday night was mediocre. Although there were a few lovely options, the ladies I had in mind were not working and the Russians were still like ice.

I walked to the east and crossed Avenida Reforma to head to Elite. As expected, I had to pay 100Q ($13, 2 drinks included) to enter the strip club. There was also a 150Q option available for an open bar (Monday and Saturday? not sure) but I had doubts that I would be spending much time there.

There were a fair number of ladies spread throughout the club, but there were difficult to see in the dim lighting. All I could tell was that they looked tired and bored from lack of customers and nothing to do but talk. A couple ladies were entertaining a couple gentlemen near the front, but aside from that I was the only other customer in there.

Suspicious of the pricing options here, I took care to choose a seat near the back in one of the single chairs which a held only one person. Still, it wasn't long before I was approached by a lady hoping to join me. He had a few moments of polite conversation, but I made it clear that I wanted to be alone to just watch the ongoing show for awhile.

When she left, I spent a while squinting and trying to see some faces in the club, but I couldn't see much because it was also too dark. I noticed an upstairs area, but I suspected it was for VIP dances rather than short time rooms. If the ladies were avaiable, I was sure it would be for a premium, although perhaps I could bargain with no other clients. After finishing my first drink, I took a walk to the restroom, catching glipses of the ladies seated nearby, but noone stood out from what I could see. I returned to my seat and ordered another drink. Another lady approached, and I spent a few minutes answering the standard questions unenthusiastically until she got the message. After she left, I changed to another single seat a little closer to the stage.

There was a card at the table of my new seat detailing prices for dances. The cards were in English and listed US dollar prices of $11 and $22 respectively for table dances and VIP dances. The gentlemen at the table nearby asked for their bill, and it appeared to me that the gentlemen that received it wasn't too happy with the amount, but I couldn't overhear anything that was being said. I soon figured I had done enough research at Elite and headed out.

Out front, I grabbed Elite's private taxi to catch a ride into Zone 4 to try Oro Solido again.

The driver dropped me off next to Oro Solido's second entrance which turned out to be on the same street as Ramada Conquistador and safer to walk to than the Avenida 6 entrance. Oro Solido was slow again for Monday night. I saw a couple ladies when they danced in the show that were attractive, but decided to look further and left after I finished my first drink.

I walked around a couple corners and entered Le Club. I felt comfortable and liked the selection that I saw when I walked in, so I decided I would probably pull my last lady from here. I kicked back and ordered drinks, enjoying the parade of ladies that danced on the stage and trying to decide on the lucky one.

The only thing I didn't like about Le Club was that too many of the ladies tended to hang out on the left side of the runway stage while the men's restroom was on the right side of the runway stage. The lighting wasn't good enough to get really good looks at their faces without walking in front of them, and I didn't want to be the only man in the club walking around so obviously cruising for a date like that. I spent the next couple hours watching the stage and keeping an eye open for any stunners that might happen to cross my path, but I didn't see anyone that could clearly qualify for a definite final lady. At about 2am, an hour before official closing time, I figured I had to finally make my move and invited over a tall and tan brunnette who turned out to be from Nicaragua. We spoke for about 15 minutes over a drink before I asked her upstairs.

The Nicaraguan was pleasant and accomodating and made for a decent wrapup session for my trip. Services were nothing special overall, but they were good by Guatemala standards based on the other dates this trip. I got a few pictures after our fun before heading downstairs for another drink. After my drink, they were getting ready to close up, so I headed outside and over to the restaurant next door to get some food. I ordered a few tacos then walked to the street to find a taxi. A couple taxis were out front, but they filled up with ladies that were leaving and disappeared with no new ones in sight. I walked over to Avenida 6 and waited about 10 minutes, but the streets at 4am Tuesday were completely deserted and no cabs came by. I walked back to Le Club to try my luck there or perhaps use a phone.

The gentlemen out front said that more cabs would be by shortly, so I should just wait. Soon my Nicaraguan and her friend appeared and a cab they had called showed shortly afterwards. Seeing that I was waiting, the Nicaraguan kindly asked if I needed a ride, so I happily accepted, and they took me back to the Holiday Inn.

I only had a couple hours to kill before my early morning flight, so I packed up and looked though some of the photos I had taken during my trip. I then checked out and waited by the entrance for the shuttle. The tiny thing that arrived hardly seemed large enough to carry us and the luggage the other passengers had (I was traveling light) but this was proven wrong when the shuttle made another stop where more passengers and more luggage was packed in. We were really maxed out, but everything got in and we headed to the airport which was fortunately nearby.

Lonely Planet listed a departure tax of $30US, but that must have been included in my ticket because I didn't have to pay it. I did have to pay some kind of airport tax, but it was much less, I don't recall exactly what it was. The whole process for my return flight was very smooth, so with little hassle I was soon on a plane back home.
