SANTIAGO DE SURCO
Besides the two nightclubs located in the shopping plaza next to the Ovalo Los Cabitos, I know little about the Santiago de Surco district. It is not mentioned in my Lonely Planet Peru guide and didn't appear to be of any unique significance while walking the area. On the second night's approach, my taxi driver did point out a transvetite as we neared the Ovalo and mentioned that it was one of the spots where one or two could usually be found.
Moonlight - Calle Preciados 153, just east of Ovalo Los Cabitos off Benavides: Moonlight is the better of two clubs located in a small shopping plaza. I was charged different entrance fees on two different nights. The first night they charged me 50 soles ($15USD), the second night 80 soles ($25 USD). Both nights at Moonlight presented a fairly nice lineup. One thing that seemed unique to Moonlight was a group of Colombian ladies that were working, all fairly attractive. Ladies here also tended to be, or at least appeared to be younger (18-19). Total costs should run $50-$70 USD plus $100 USD or whatever you can negotiate with the lady. Vodou is located nearby.

Vodou - Calle Preciados 126, just east of Ovalo Los Cabitos off Benavides: Located within eyesight of Moonlight, Vodou is a smaller nightclub with few ladies. I was preparing to leave on my one and only visit to this place when a cute young lady suddenly appeared. Although one can get lucky and find a gem here, the infrequent visitor will likely be better off checking out a number of other nightclubs, including Moonlight nearby, before considering coming here. Total costs should run $50-$70 USD plus $100 USD or whatever you can negotiate with the lady.
