With regard to quality going down in Rio, it is going down in BA as well compared to when the dollar was one to one. Athos, I totally agree with your rankings on desinations per above. My only question is where the hell was Sandy last month when I scoured over 4x4 looking for a doable garota? I'm also concerned as well as perplexed by the lack of quantity of hot Rio girls lately, although as Bwana Dik writes "It only takes one." Although numbers were low last month, I hooked up with the hottest girl I've ever seen in Help last 3 years. Still beats anywhere else though.

Since you guys are fellow TJ mongers would you say in general that the TJ chicas are hotter or the Brazilian chicas?

And if the TJ chicas are hotter, is it the service in Brazil that makes it more worthwhile?

I think you guys know what I consider TJ hotties(Sylvia AB, Paola AB, Deyanira CC, Fernanda AB and Malena AB)

Are there Brazilian chicas that make these TJ chicas ugly and better yet rival their service too?

I know these questions can't simply be answered with yes or no's and cut and dry answers but I'm open to your opinions.

I think most would agree that the service in TJ doesn't come close to other destinations and "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

But since you guys know what I find attractive in TJ and I'm quite sure we've shared the same TJ women to have a point of reference on the service I am used to, you may be able to at least entertain my questions above with your opinions and experience.

Frontbc, your typical TJ chica cannot compare to what you find in the Rio termas. For starters the entire environment is completely different. The termas are low keyed compared to the typical TJ Zona bar. The music in TJ is louder, everything is filthy, and you have to be continually on your guard because of the rip off scams practiced from everyone including the waiters, the hotel clerks, the clean up crew, and the chicas themselves. This constant hassle just doesn't exist in the termas.

Another major different is in the phyical contact between you and the woman. DFK in a TJ bar is possible but rare. It is the norm in a terma. And this is before you go to the room. In TJ you can often, but not always, expect the chica to rush you as much as possible. This doesn't happen in the terma. 40 minutes means just that. No one knocks on the door and there is no obnoxious asshole waiting for his "teep".

Physically, the women are also different. It is not unusual in TJ to find a body two sizes larger suddenly popping out of her pants. That won't happen in the termas. C scars are common in TJ. I've never seen one in Rio. Terma women tend to be "sleaker" and I don't meant that solely in a body type but also as a personality. They have more class including in a sexual way. Finally, there is more variety in the termas than in the Zona. Personally, I like blondes which are common in the termas but rare in TJ. I also find the Brazilian hair styles to be more attractive.

Give it a shot. I have never seen anyone, except one member on this board, go to Rio and be disappointed. And most of the strongest advocates for Rio were once TJ fans. That says something.

Thank you very much for your sharing your compare and contrast opinions and experiences between TJ and Rio.

I know I've got to put my questions asided and just bite the bullet and make a trip to Rio or Buenos Aires with in the next year.

I've found a way to tolerate what TJ has to offer because of the convenience and the hotties that are available, but my financial situation will only allow me one good long distance trip so I want to make it good.

For some reason I haven't been turned on by most of the Asia reports as I have by the ones from Brazil and Argentina, and because I really like the TJ chicas, my tastes lean more towards latina types.

And to make it clear again, my intent isn't to debate which place is better or best. But to express this is the type of chica I like and service I am used to, so please point me in another mongering destination where I can find another home away from my regular TJ home. ;)

you cant compare brasil to mexico. Mexico will never beat Brasil in a world cup match. First they have never met in the world cup as Mexico is usually awol.
After you return from Brasil, you need to decompress and stay away from tj otherwise you might puke, tj chicas are butt ugly (and that includes your all star list) compared to Brasileiras unless you're into fat and unhealthy looking girls. I wont go into comparing services or attitude.
But yes not all brasileiras are hot so you have to be patient sometimes to find what you're looking for.

Sometimes not knowing what I'm missing is better for me. Just kidding.

I know for the most part TJ is just a "quicky" type mongering destination and I must admit I tire of having to always have my guard up from scams and shake downs, no matter how consistently I go.

Fellow mongers, I am considering visiting Rio from 9/05/05 on Labor Day to 9/12/05, I want to go since I have not been to to Rio for awhile but I am concerned since this week is Labor Day week, will the termas be overrun with other Americans? If the termas are going to be real crowded, I would prefer not to go.

guys ,i am here at 4 by 4 in rio now, anyone seen Sandra around . i have not seen her here. selection here at 4 by 4 seems as good as ever despite reports otherwise. i hate to post anything negative here since i enjoy the site and information provided but i can not help my self today. there are lots of other americans here at 4 by 4 and there is nothing wrong with that, probably1/3 of the crowd at 4 by 4 here are from the US, but there is something wrong with many of us behaving like Ugly Americans. Behavior here i have seen by fellow gringos, barking loudly like dogs in the bar and and 1 gringo gave the counter sraff at 4 by 4 a 20 real tip . HMMM let me see,20 reals for WHAT? doing nothing but taking my money, they are not waiters at a cafe, now they ask every american for a tip for doing nothing. remember guys when u travel overseas u are not just representing yourselves but WHERE you are from. sorry for the complaint guys but i just had to say something. i will be in rio for 5 more days gonna hang out at the beach and solarium as well,anyone wanna chat or hang out, let me know. i have not been here for 18 months and hope to enjoy the rest of my trip
