Scooby: Thanks for all the attention putting this into detailed form. I will have to make some corrections for you. La Isla is no longer open. That is a shame, because some of the hottest girls worked there. The guy that owned it also owned Fase Dos, and decided to concentrate his efforts there. Most of the hotties crossed over to Fase Dos as well, so it was good before, and better now.
Also, Loutrons is not next door to the playboy penthouse anymore, since the penthouse changed hands and is no longer a monger hangout. Just a minor correction. It is very close to the new location they bought called El Castillo, and the link you provided takes you there.
Also, one of the street girl areas that I have used on both of my last two trips is called Mayorista, located in the suburb of Itagui. There are two blocks of hotels and bars, where the chicas stand on the sidewalk TJ style, shoulder to shoulder. It is a must see. After about 10pm to 2am the chicas lineup. Sometimes 50 to 100 chicas can be found here, busiest on Friday and SAturday nights. They want 20K (about 9 bucks) for half an hour, plus a hotel fee of about the same.
Have fun and enjoy Medellin. Thanks again scoob.

Sniper says: "Mayorista is in a better neighborhood than the other SG hangouts. Correct? "
Yes it is. I found it to be very safe, and saw lots of cops there.
Sniper also claims he can cum 3-4 times in 70 minutes. Easy big fella. At that rate you will need to bring the JUMBO box of condoms. Seriously, I would urge serious leche management in Medellin. If not, you will run dry by day #2, and that is a little bit frustrating. To be in Medellin with no Leche is agonizing.

I will need 36 condoms for the 6 days I'm there.
No shit, I don't even understand it.
I was in Rio for two weeks last year, I went through 2 Trojan 36 packs (Costco!) in those two weeks.
I'm a freak.
By Radioman on Saturday, March 11, 2006 - 03:18 pm: Edit |
Sniper: That's six sums a day, for 6 straight days. Dear God man, you could single handedly repopulate the earth at that rate.
Are your balls normal size, or the size of a braham bull?
Do you take testosterone injections? I hear that keeps it cumming for weeks.
You obviously don't have one woman here or you could kill her.

scooby, nice cheat sheet. btw, i've noticed that you've posted this info elsewhere so i thought i'd correct you on your summary of my post on san sara.
1) the name of the place is san sara.
2) the 60k for 4 hours is not a inhouse rate, but rather a rate i had negotiated for an outside meeting where she came on her own time so ymmv. btw, i got the impression that outside meetings were frowned upon so be discreet.
Samsara: - Av. 33 No. 65-09 corner of calle 33 & calle 65
(Yes, Av. 33 = Cll. 33 here!)
From Abydos, cross Av. 33 and walk west a block. It's located on Calle 33, one block down from Mario bros, but on the other side. It's upstairs and has a little sign that says "timbre". It opens early at around 9-10 and closes at 10pm. 35k for 30' BJ, 45k for 60' FS. 60k for approx 4 hours.

When possible I tried to credit the individuals whom the information came. I must have gotten lazy when I came to crediting you. I thank you for the upgraded info I will incorporate it in next time I send an update to CH. The best update will be when I return from Medellin, I will have Personally tasted the "City of Eternal Spring" and it will be up to date and accurate.
I encourage anyone who has updated info on Medellin to post it to me and Ill add it.

P.S. Has anyone been there the last week of April/first week of May, that can tell me what the weather is like then.
By Tomtom33 on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 - 10:10 am: Edit |
The weather in MDE is always good if you don't mind a little rain. The high is in the 80s and the low is in the 60s, 365 days per year.

I Am Your Worst Nightmare. I am a BAD American.
I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some mid level governmental functionary be it Democratic or Republican!
I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!
I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart American.
I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything.
I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, try to do it in English.
I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.
My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and whoever canceled Jerry Springer.
I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.
I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time arguing about it.
I've never owned a slave, or was a slave; I didn't wander forty years in the desert after getting chased out of Egypt. I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you! So, shut up already.
I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson practices, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution. Can I get an AMEN on that one?
I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry rear if you're running from them..
I also think they have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.
And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my driver’s license. I think it's good... And I'm proud that "God" is written on my money.
I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.
I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making "donations" to their cause. These people should be targets.
I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.
And what is going on with gas prices... again?
I am for the war on terror Iam against liberal Clintonites who put their arms up and give up at the first sign of trouble. Who lie, Cheat & steal to get their point across. And who even make people have unexplained deaths if they are going to be exposed for the frauds they are. Like William Jefferson Clinton and his psychotic wife did.
I believe in a strong America who doesn't take crap from all the peon countries who would be goose-stepping if it weren’t for us.
Keep America strong and support the men and women who are fighting to allow you to disagree, or move to a country where if you come out against the government or say what you believe, you’re punished.
I am an American and I am proud of it. If this makes me a BAD American, and then yes, I'm a BAD American.
If you are a BAD American too, please forward this to everyone you know.
We need our country back!

my main concern was over the pricing summary:
"the 60k for 4 hours" part of it. i didn't want hombres going there expecting that deal as being standard inhouse rates because they aren't.

Scooby,
You had me with the Medellin guide. I really enjoyed it, but you lost me with the Rah Rah USA stuff.
You should move this over to another section.
Just like you, I'm proud to be an American. But I don't think God nor George Bush approves of our hobby. A matter of fact, there has been efforts by the Bush administration to CRIMINALIZE our hobby.
Now I know President Clinton did extend the age restriction to US citizens overseas (which frankly I agree with), but it stopped there.
If you want to respond, do so in another thread. Its better form.
That being said, thank you for the guide you put together. It helped quite a bit.

Colombian, they mean $110,000 which is about $45 USD.
By Radioman on Tuesday, May 02, 2006 - 06:53 pm: Edit |
As of today 110,000 pesos is $46.72 using todays quote of 2377 peso to the dollar. It has been pretty consistent for almost a year. It was 2332 when I first went to Colombia last July.

I am in Medellin right now and this is what I have been getting as an exchange rate.
The Bank down the hill from the Mansion has an ATM rate of 2138pesos to the dollar. 300,000cop cost me 128.00usd. It is the same with the green ATM´s in the Ovido Mall.
The cambio in the Oviedo Mall was 2240cop to $1.00usd. Since I brought very little cash with me Ive been using the ATMs.
If anyone knows of an Atm that gives a better rate please inform me.
Scooby
By Tequila on Wednesday, May 03, 2006 - 01:16 pm: Edit |
Scooby, the ATM rate sounded low since they are usually better than the cambios. I divided 300,000 by $128 and got a 2343 exchange rate instead of 2138 (?). but the ATM often tack on about a 3% fee depending on your bank network.
It is great to hear about all the fun you are having there.

Are the discos places were FL's can be picked up?
By Av8tr on Thursday, June 15, 2006 - 11:25 pm: Edit |
Is it fairly easy to find places to exchange US $100 dollar bills? Or should one bring smaller denominations?
Also, where can I rent a phone? My Cingular will work, but at $2.29 a minute. ouch. I recall reading that you can't pick up sim cards easily like in Thailand.
By Sniper on Friday, June 16, 2006 - 07:39 am: Edit |
Don't use cash, use travelers checks. Your exchange rate on cash is not as good.
If you must bring cash, go to a bank for exchange. They will be the only place to take US Currency.
If you use GSM, you can buy a prepaid cellular chip all over the place. I am also on Cingular, make sure your phone is unlocked before you go. Cingular phones don't run with other carrier's GSM chips without being unlocked.
The unlocking price for my Blackberry was $80, but now I can put any chip in the phone and it works.
By Tomtom33 on Friday, June 16, 2006 - 07:40 am: Edit |
You can easily exchange $100's at any cambio, but you are much better off to use the ATM.
You may not be able to get a SIM card, but any Colombian can easily buy one for you.
By Sniper on Friday, June 16, 2006 - 07:44 am: Edit |
Actually Tom is correct, a cambio is ok as well. But I got a better exchange from the bank.
Prepaid sim cards are easy, there are guys that sell cellular accessories on the street that have sim cards. I got one about 500 feet away from where I was staying.
When I was at the Mansion, there is a guy right outside on the main street. He has them, they were about $40 which included 500 minutes if I recall.
By Av8tr on Monday, June 19, 2006 - 10:48 am: Edit |
Thanks for the info. I won't be using an ATM for various reasons. I can bring cash or travelers checks. I'd rather not hassle with tc's.
Are cambio's fairly easy to find like in Thailand?
By Hunter on Monday, June 19, 2006 - 12:49 pm: Edit |
ATMs are everywhere in the larger Cities.
Hunter
By Sniper on Monday, June 19, 2006 - 03:18 pm: Edit |
Banks are easier to find, I only saw a handfull of cambios if you mean one of those small storefront windows with the exchange rates listed for a bunch of countires.
Go to the banks with cash and you'll be fine. I'm leaving on Wedneday. I'm just going to go to the ATM and I'll bring a few hundred in cash for the hell of it.
By Tomtom33 on Monday, June 19, 2006 - 04:40 pm: Edit |
I have never been in a bank in MDE, but the banks in CTG can be daunting. Be prepared to wait for an hour or two in line.
By Sniper on Monday, June 19, 2006 - 05:09 pm: Edit |
Not that bad in MDE. I exchanged about $1000 in travelers checks in April and I was there for about 20 minutes.
ATM is best if you are in a hurry, I have not heard of someone losing their card in an ATM when I was there.
By Hunter on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 - 04:39 am: Edit |
Most ATMs in Colombia don't suck the card into ATM, you just swipe the card.

Medellin Update:
Forget about getting the Street Chicas mentioned in the guide along Calle 33 & 54 etc... The police have all but cleaned up these areas, and you will almost certainly be stopped by the police if you even slow down long enough to talk to any girls.
Also, the action at the Medellin Mansion is still happening, albeit in a more subtle fashion. They keep a photo album of the girls for the guests to peruse and invite them on a one on one basis. No more big parties and no more girls lounging about.

Well after Dongringo spent a week at my place he knows what he is talking about. The DG we all know went thru more Chicas last week than you can imagine. The last thing I remember was us sitting on my terrace having pizza and him having a Chica put lotion on his member because it was sore from fucking another Chica for about 4 hours earlier. Great to see you DG - come back soon (sometime in year 2012) ok?

Hempy thanks for all your 'hospitality'. Can't tell ya how great it is to be back here in the States again
I put 2012 on my calendar, but PLEASE - if it's not asking too much would you try to get a nicer place - with better quality furniture by then?
