First trip to Rio was amazing! I went with my brother went for the first time. The women say they love "black Americano" and "we want the leche!" That did it.

Met Roberto of Amerioca tours at the airport. Then proceeded to Don's office of Amerioca tours. This folk were very useful throughout the trip. Very fun and informative group of guys that know Brazil very well. I totally recommend them for newbies visiting Brazil! This was my first trip internationally...so the experience was fascinating.

Don, Gibletpie proceed to their hotspot Luomo. My brother had Ingrid and I had Priscilla. I was about experience my first Brasilera...! Luomo provided a very comfortable. I can see why people would choose it as top terma.
The experience felt like a gladiator match when we changed into the robes and flip flops.
I just didnt know what to expect even though I Read so much about it.

These Brasilians are like sex champions. I am trying to figure out how I am going to last hour the way she using her lips and moving hips on me!

Those of us who have been coming for more than a few have seen prices for pussy inflate faster than anything else, but mainly in the tourist areas. The "tourist areas attract tourist prices" because tourists are stupid and unwilling to exert a little effort to keep prices reasonable. I don't eat in the Av. Atlantica tourist trap restaurants precisely because they charge tourist prices. I pay less for better food by going elsewhere. I don't do GPs working out of Help and Meia Pataca for the same reason.

As for prices, I've noticed that EVERYTHING in Brasil is fucked up lately. A simple cafezinho, forinstance, costs R$1 most everywhere (more at the upscale places)... sounds like peanuts, but Brasilians LIVE on coffee and the average salary is R$300 a MONTH (R$10 a day) to put it in perspective... Rice, beans, you name it, everything is sky-high. My friends explain it all as being because of Brasil's sky-high taxes, what do you expect with Socialists in power? Certainly taxes are out of control (there are 14 different taxes on income, for instance), don't know if Lula is to blame (they were there before), but his crew certainly isn't helping to reduce them. Bottom line is that those high prices for the basics are getting passed along to us mongers too. And it's even worse when you are hanging out in the tourist areas. Solution - do what the locals do... of course, that's pretty hard when you dont' speak port. and don't have any friends locally. In that case, pay fairly and relax.

from the Atlantico Copacabana hotel you go straight down to the beach-it is on the opposite side of the road as the hotel-maybe 4 to 6 blocks-you will know it when you see it-just look for the churassco sign-decent food and cheaper that Porcaos (but not as good) I walked there after dark from the hotel but that is against the advise of most people-from L Umono you can also jsut walk on down to the beach on the same side of the road and you willcome to it-maybe 6 to 8 blocks-dont suggest you walk it after dark

After reading the posts, I'm saddened to find that there's a whole lot of truth in the statement "There is a criminal lack of training in Economics in the U.S." When the selection was better, the prices were lower, because there was more competition for the amount of tourist dollars available. At this point in time, the supply of very attractive women has gone down, so their price has gone up, and the lesser attractive women have jumped on the bandwagon and upped their prices as well. I stayed in the Atlantico for a few days one trip and over all I liked it. The location has a lot in its favor-among them two or three blocks from L Umono-the desk staff are friendly over all and get a kick out of seeing the girls come in. I have posted a comparison review of the Atlantico Copacabana versus the Princess Copacabana which is in the topics section under Rio hotels. The rooms are not fancy but ok quality and it makes no pretence to great luxury.

You know, with prices like that, I'm almost better off driving a couple hours down to Ft Lauderdale, renting a decent hotel room for 80-90 bucks a night, and having afternoon and evening sessions with hot Brazilian escorts every day for 4-5 days in a row INSTEAD of going to Rio.
Of course, I'd never so that, since it'd be illegal for me to have sex with the escort girls, their fees are for time spent and companionship only.

I don't understand what the beef is. I see this trip report for what it is: the VERY enthusiastic report from a first timer in Rio. It clearly captures his awe of Rio. Other than his writing and narrative style, I'm not sure this report (or his experience, for that matter) is that much different than most everyone else's, regardless of race, religion or wealth.

Why bust his chops that his perception of Rio isn't the reality? On my first trip there, I certainly wasn't thinking about the socio-economic realities of the garota or the country. I was only concerned about the abundance of hot women and their energy. So what if Taboojw's view of Rio is still far more fantasy than reality? Let him enjoy his fantasy as long as he can. Tomorrow (08/08/06) I leave for Rio. This will be my fifth trip in less than two years; my prior visit was in April of this year.

Gentlement, brazil is a huge country...Last August I visited Fotaleza along with several other cites. This time I'm going to Fortaleza again for three nights and then head back to Rio for the remainder of my 19-day stay in Brazil.

The point I wish to make is to branch out; go vist other parts of Brazil. I find that when I visit other parts of Brazil it makes me appreciate Rio much better.

I took the time to Read the Rio Guide for 2005 and 2006 written by "Bwana"...the name sounds like something out of an old Tarzan movie. I also read the books he recommmended at the end of the guide. One was "The Brazilians" by Joseph Page...an awesome book. I received so much insight from it...I highly recommend it to newbies and vets.

Another thing, when dealing with the sex-workers/hoes in Rio, it's good to know the principles of negotiation...think win/win and know the going rates. I always return home with surplus money and empty testes (smile). It's also good to understand the language and the culture. Like Taboo, I also thought the girls preferred the "brothers"...after the second trip I realized that the girls don't care what you look like...they just want yo' money, honey! When dealing with the hoes, you gotta operate in "pimp mode" otherwise you get played, big time.

The first trip is always the best and the enthusiasm is nice to see.

The main problem with this board is the ego and attitude of its members. Everyone on this board believes they are the "pimp", especially the ones who have gone on more trips then others.

You have to remember something. It does take time and effort to post these reports. What is the reward to waste your time posting a report just to get a bunch of jackasses posting some negative commentary? In constructing my last trip report, it took me a lot of time and effort. I devoted time in doing it over several days. In the end, my report got jacked by a bunch of ego driven jerks who wanted to act like backseat drivers. What was my ultimate reward in posting such a detailed report? Everytime I look back at my report, I see a bunch of jerks who want to add their two cents in where it wasnt needed nor wanted.

Taboojw went to a foreign destination, he got laid on the cheap and now he is presenting a report in the manner of his choosing. So what if he presented his report in a manner to your disliking? Its his report and there is no need to be a backseat driver. You may have more time in the driver's seat then Taboo, but that doesnt mean you should tell him how to drive.

As for the women in the report being big. . .you have to remember one thing. Its difficult for a man of greater endowment to fit into the smaller packaged women. I see behavior described in these replies that I think everyone here agrees is offensive. What I don't see is what this has to do with Taboojw's trip report.

Discussing offensive behavior in Brazil is fine, but please do so in an appropriate topic, perhaps in Brazil: Advice/Questions/Commentary.

You are coreect, it certainly defeats the reasons for posting and sharing of experiences so that others can learn or at the very least be amused.

Spending some time in the military around a disproportionate amount of guys and then some time in college also around a crowd of guys, I learned that all guys act differently when they come back from getting laid. Some guys simply come back with a smile. While others will be loud and bragging about the experience while standing on top of a table. There is no right or wrong method in which a man chooses to broadcast the event. Whether they act like the "pimp" or simply keep it to themselves, it is simply their way of communicating a positive experience.

While guys like Taboo stand on top of the table telling all, there is also another set of guys in the background who are jealous because he has the spotlight now. These jealous guys are wrong. Everyone will have their chance eventually to stand on top of the table to tell their story. There is no need for heckling Taboo because he has his pants around his ass.

If Taboo is heckled for his style, then it will indeed scare others away who want to stand on the table and show their naked girly pictures.

So let Taboo show his girly pictures and be the pimp for the day. We'll even make some gold chains for him and a flashy hat. Everyone will have a turn at this eventually. Some more then others. . .

Actually, there are a few Brazilians hunting outside Help, from 10 pm to Midnight. Several good friends of mine hang out there almost every day.

And, amazingly, they spot fresh new talent and often get them for pretty decent prices. I took one home for R 100 for 2 hours, and put another one on my list for R$ 100, for future appointments. She said that it has to be at least 100, because R$ 50 she gets at home (Campo Grande) and she would not need to do a huge trip to get here. She is a blonde stunner, 19 years, athlete.

The older "experienced" girls frown upon such behavior, they don't want price breakers like this.

If the deals were reasonably priced in Copa, we'd have locals joining us at Help and MP. It's rather pathetic not to mention annoying to watch guys fuck things up for their brothers and not give a shit.
