On this trip I checked out two low budget areas.

1) Babdegan or Jemabatan Tiga: I have seen this area called both of these names. It’s like a little Kota Indah. There are about 5 or 6 places of interest in here. All of them have the MO for which you picking the girl from glamour shots at the front. I would say that there were 100-150 girls available in the complex and more than double that who had pics under the glass. Half of these places are simply massage-brothel joints. However, a couple of them have karaoke/dangdut lounges attached where the girls hang out and you can drink. Personally, these places are as dark as TC’s and worse the girls are sitting in low booths and no mamasan is bringing them over for you to check out. Also, I have never had luck picking from the glamour shots. They rarely look like the girl. However, the sessions here are 160-170K for an hour.

However, on my first scouting trip I kept seeing fairly cute and young girls walking around the streets and coming up and down from the room. Of course this makes for the humorous activity in which upon seeing a girl we ask the receptionist what is her number. Then we all frantically search for her photo under the glass.

Curiosity got the best of me the second trip out. I was with four or five local Chinese guys who were happy to do some exploring. We entered into Sari Dewi, which has a Dangdut lounge and rooms upstairs. The papasan finally hooked me with the promise that “Mini” (that’s her name on the photo I forgot her number) had young firm boobs. I was instructed to go to the second floor where she would meet me. On the second floor I see there is a fish tank room where many girls are hanging out watching TV and putting on make up. The glass had been tinted, but I could definitely see and wasn’t shy enough to poke my head in a take a peak. Damn some cuties. Of course Mini comes down the hall and I have a mini disappointment.

Mini was rather mousy looking and had a big rack, but her rack was like swinging papayas and not bolt ons. On to the room. The room was actually pretty decent, better than Kota Indah but not as good as Travel, and lots of mirrors in all the right places (except none on the ceiling.) I got a little wash up and shower. However, Mini started with no passion and there was no kissing on the menu. Yet things were about to get worse. I start to feel her up slowly and caress eventually getting to her pussy. After a little teasing she gets wet and she has a really yeasty odor. So I go for the visible inspection, No sores I can see or warts, but it looked red and not good. Definitely a learning curve here, but I think there is enough potential to warrant further research. I think the best thing to do is to ask to see this dressing room to pick your girl from. I will do this for sure at Sari Dewi.

2) Not having dropped my load, and the local Chinese guys getting restless we headed over to an area called Muwardi, which is near the Ciputra Mall and Roxy Mas. Here there are 4 four houses on one street and another 2 about half a km down the road. I was given the choice of a house with shitty rooms and hot young girls, or better rooms but uglier girls. I said bring on the slums!


The house we went to was called Sentosa, and once again it was the glamour shots under the glass. In Sentosa there were twenty something girls on staff and about half of them were present. The charges were only 125K for the hour. The local guys clearly knew the stock and were handing out lucky numbers. There was one girl who had very fair skin and was from Bandung, #4. None of the guys had tried her but all were somewhat interested. Being the typical idiot I am in these places said I would take the #4 girl.

We sat and waited for the girls who came out one at a time in white technician coats to pick up her man. The first three guys had real cuties and I was excited. First off the room was really more of a partition. There must have been a dozen of the partitions in the room. You can definitely hear what’s going with your neighbors. Well atleast during normal business hours, and I was under the impression these places closed up around 10pm.

While I am not sure it’s worth the effort to go off the beaten path to save few bucks. But these places out here are fun and certainly have a different feel. Sorry I am hazy on the hot to do this trip details. But I will gather more intel and give a more accurate and detailed report after my next visit out this way.

These are not the same places. Nor are they the places that Socrates alluded to before. The places we never made it out that trip is referred to as the Daan Magot. The establishments there are Medica Disco, Joker Spa, Hot Pants Disco, Triple Y, Bandara, Top One, and etc.. Those places actually tend to be more night time places open until 2 0r 3 AM. From my limited sample size - I didn't think the girls in this area match the standards found in the two places I report in this chapter.

However, these two areas are close to the Daan Magot area. All of them can be easily explored together. With the two area discussed here having early operating hours. I certainly can lead an expedition out here, and I will try and put up future posts with details so others can follow in the footsteps by just reading hombre.

Also, I was talking to some local guys and they said another area out there was called Kalijodo. Supposedly very kampong, full of gangsters, gambling dens, and rustic brothels charging 70-150K. However, they really discouraged me from visiting it, and refused to take me out there. Said it was dangerous. However, the said that Jembatan tiga, Muwardi, and Daan Magot were safe.
I wonder if Kalijodo was the place you went to?

Although I don't recall the name of the area, but I suppose it could have been kalijodo since your description of it fits the description of where I visited to a T. Here are some more details of the place.

The location is about +30' west of kota. Towards the middle of the drive over there, the environment felt dangerous as we cautiously cruized through narrow dimly lit roads with chaotic traffic going every which way like in phenom penh. 3 accidents almost occured on my way out there. Lack of well established businesses and taxis also added the this sketchy feeling of the place.

Later the road widens a bit and there were less people on the street. We parked in a makeshift concrete soccer field and walked across the street. The entrance to the alley was about 4 feet below street level. Inside there was a little maze of narrow crooked alleyways. You have to pass multiple underground gambling dens then go across a bridge that crosses over a sewer before you get to the main brothal. There were about 3 other joints on the way that had some lookers as well. Unfortunately, there were also some shady looking characters present within the alley and at the entrance.

In the brothal the lighting was somewhat dim, but provided enough illumination to clearly see the women clear across the room. Furthermore, there was also a strange ritual that takes place whereby a man carries what appears to be an antique vase with what I'd guess to be smoke from dry ice coming flowing out of it. This vase is brought to the entrance corners and various parts of the establishment before it's set at the front of the room where the ladies come up to it for good luck.

There were about 40 girls ranging from 18-24 years of age. They sat on this long bench, that stretch the width of the place and along a bench that stretch the length too. Quality of the ladies were about 6 to 8/10. There was a good balance of light skinned women and dark skinned women. Service was outstanding and there didn't seem to be a time limit. Also, there were no waiters or mama-papasans pushing any ladies or drinks on us. Price was 100k....multiples seem to be allowed. Ymmv. Tip wasn't required but was somewhat expected if you went at it more than once with the lady. St rooms were the smallest I've ever seen, but appeared somewhat clean. Lt is avaliable onsite only. It would make for an interesting and perhaps dangerous overnighter, but one hell of an adventure I'd imagine. I left before the place hit it's peak crowd time.

I had a great time there but am not sure I'll return until I learn more about the danger factor out there and how real it actually is.
