I decided to give Pantip Plaza another try today. This time, instead of using the taxi mafia in front of the Grand President I just walked a few feet down Soi 11, hailed a cab, told him Pantip Plaza and was soon on my way. I had refreshed my memory about the looks of this place at an internet café earlier so I wasn’t going to be dumped at some side corner this time.
We again headed west on Sukhumvit to Soi Chit Lom. Soi Chit Lom is just a ridiculous street. The traffic on that street is bumper to bumper all the way from Sukhumvit to Petchburi and it takes forever just to travel that distance. After finally getting up towards Petchaburi Road we continued straight for a while and then did the craziest side street journey I have ever seen. All of this was necessary just to go west a little ways so the driver could come back east a bit and drop me off near the front of Pantip Plaza. I swear the streets are crazy in Bangkok.
He still could not get all the way over in the one-way lane to drop me off in front of the building so he dropped me off on the other side of the street and I took a pedestrian bridge over. The Pantip Plaza building is about 5 to 6 stories high and looks like a small American Galleria. There is an A&W Root Beer place and a KFC on the bottom floor. I think the second floor had a Thai food court. But basically this is a Galleria or Plaza full of computer stuff. Hardware, software, motherboards, video cards, laptops, and much, much more. Me being the computer geek that I am, I had to check it out. I guess the Plaza is mostly known for its pirated computer and console software as well as pirated DVD’s.
But it seems that legitimate business does place in the Plaza as Intel had a huge exhibition setup on the ground floor. Upon entering and just walking a few feet you will be hounded by tons of sales people trying to stop you so that you will look at their selection of DVD’s, computer and console games, or application software. They just have folders that you flip through. When you buy the software or DVD, they run off and make it, or they go to their stock. I would love to see this operation from the inside. I can’t imagine how many computers and burners they have setup in some back room there.
I spent about an hour or two exploring the place. I wouldn’t recommend buying any hardware in Thailand. The prices are comparable to US prices and you’d probably have tons of trouble if you ever needed warranty service for the parts. But if you are interested in copied games, applications or DVD’s, then this is the place to go.
Be careful of the DVD’s or VCD’s though. VCD, in case some of you don’t know is short for Video Compact Disc. The format is not that popular in America but it is in Europe and Asia. Usually one hour worth of video can be burned onto the VCD or SVCD format. The quality is not as good as DVD, but it is better than VHS. A 2 hour movie would probably require two VCD discs. Some DVD players will play both the VCD and SVCD format but some will not. Check your manufacturer’s website to see if it does.
Be careful with the DVD purchases though. Some of the newer movies that haven’t been released yet on DVD are just filmed off a movie screen. A good rule of thumb is to stay away from anything you haven’t actually seen released yet as a DVD. If it has been released as a DVD, chances are they have used a program like DeCSS or a similar program to rip the DVD and then burn the actual good quality onto a DVD disc. If the release of the DVD is close, chances are they somehow got an advanced copy and the quality will be good. But if the release is still months away, it’s going to be crap.
After my morning adventuring here it was time to head off for the first soapy of the day. I decided to check out Atami once more in search of Na. Dart had asked about his favorite from Atami as well, Ohm. I didn’t see her the last time so when I headed back I decided I would ask about her.
When I walked into Atami this time the fishbowl was now open and lit up. There were still far more sideline girls than fishbowl girls though. I seem to remember Atami having quite a selection of both the last time around, but this time they seemed to be concentrating on just the sidelines girls.
I took a look and spotted someone I wanted. When I went to go pay up they told me the price was 4000 baht. I just laughed out loud and said out of the all the times I had been there I had never paid that much. Then he asked me the famous “How much you pay?” Knowing that I had always paid 2000 fishbowl and 2500 superstar, I said 1500. He said 2500 which eventually became 2000, the price I had always paid there.
But in return for that I received one of the shittiest rooms at the place. It was one of the rooms to the right. Never accept the rooms to the right of the payment counter. The air conditioning does not work too well in them and they are small and crappy rooms. Heck, the bed was only a twin or double size.
The girl’s name was Da and I forget her age. I think between 19 and 21. She seemed a little familiar to me but I could not quite place if I had seen her somewhere before. She cleaned me up in the bath and provided a fairly short covered BJ afterward. Don’t remember too many details about this session. To quote a Blazers saying, “It was sterile.”

So I went to the counter and pulled out a brochure and pointed to her, just with the intention to ask about her whereabouts and if she was still around. Well the next thing I knew she was standing next to me, waiing me choosing her. So I decided what the fuck and went ahead and paid up the 2500 baht for her.

She didn’t remember me from last time. (Dart, myself, Na and Ohm all had an extended dinner in the restaurant there) But when I asked her if she remembered Dart, her face lit up and she was like, “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaart!”
So I guess she remembered him. When we got to the room she was really chatty and friendly and her English was pretty good. She undressed me and we had a very nice bath together. She asked if I wanted the slip and slide and it was kind of wearing on me so I told her no. Now don’t get me wrong. I love the slip and slide and I think everyone should experience it on several occasions. I was just not in the mood for one this time around. So she kind of gave me a little slip and slide in the tub before we both started to dry off.
The activities on the bed started off very good with some nice kissing and foreplay before she started with a BBLJ. She also had a really nice ball licking technique that felt great before she started in on the full-on BBBJ.
She got on and ended up riding back and forth for quite a while before we switched into missionary. And again, similar to my time at Nataree, this is where the session really started getting better.

She really threw me for a loop when she told me his occupation. I said, “He doesn’t do that. Is that what he told you?” She then clarified to something specific that I knew was one of Dart’s hobbies so I retracted my, “He doesn’t do that” comment.
Still, the fact that she remembered his girls, in order, and his hobby after almost 10 months was quite amazing to me. We talked some more and it was very difficult to get her age out of her. Dart had made the analogy that Ohm seems like a girl that is always in control, never opening up herself too much. I noticed what he was talking about as I spent some time with her. I finally got that she was 19, another one that had been working since she was 16. Yikes! She from Chiang Mai and she started describing how beautiful the country was up there with gorgeous rivers and mountains.
As it turns out for today, I ended up doing two girls at Atami that Dart had already done. When I showed him the pictures of Da, he said he was pretty sure that was his Bang-Bang girl. For those of you that are not familiar with Dart’s Bang-Bang girl, you must read Chapter 6 of Dart’s Back and Forth in Thailand Report. It is one of the funniest pieces of writing I have ever read. Sure, I was there so I knew the story first hand but I still think it hilarious!
He didn’t have a picture of her to compare, but after he mentioned he thought it was her there was little doubt in my mind because she did look familiar. Although I got one of the crappy rooms similar to Dart when he fucked her, my session with Da wasn’t nearly as bad.
After the two sessions I went back to the Grand President to clean up before I went out to find a date for the evening. I chose Nana Plaza for tonight and finally decided to hit the Cascade Bar. All I can say about this place is that everyone else’s comments about it are right on. The cave theme is interesting and the multiple rotating stage and waterfall are neat, but there are not many attractive girls there. There was ONE girl I was interested in and she was sitting with the only other customer in the place.
The girls were flashing these fake, oversized five and ten dollar American bills around for some reason. I have no idea what that was about. So after about 10 minutes in this place I took off.
I went to Angel Witch next and saw Dart’s “A” from the first time last November. She still does not dance. She is just a door girl. There were two possibilities here. One of the girls I had my eye on was one of the cutest I had ever seen in Thailand. But she had already been bar fined for the evening and was sitting in street clothes with her date.
The second was a chain smoker so I decided to pass. The next stop was Rainbow II. Again, lots of girls there but none really that I was interested in. Then I hit Hollywood Rock. I immediately noticed a girl dancing on the stage to my right. She was wearing an Indian Jones style hat with white lace and fishnet stocking and she looked pretty good.
After her dance set she came over and we chatted a bit and I bought her a drink. Another guy was interested so I wasted little time and bar fined her. Then we headed back to the Grand President.
That is when things really started to go downhill. As we got out the taxi she nearly fell flat on her face she was so drunk/stoned. Then when I got a good look at her in the full light I was no longer even attracted to her anymore. We went up to the room and I found out she was 32! Yikes!
Then all of a sudden she just started crying out of nowhere, moaning something about her kids. I was thinking of ways to get this girl to leave now. But before I can tell her to get lost she is off to take a shower. She’s in there for quite a while before I finally decide to go in to see what the hell is going on. There’s fucking water all over the floor and walls and she’s pointing the personal shower handle in every which way. When she finally comes out I tell her I am tired and she has to go. This goes back and forth for about 10 minutes with her not wanting to leave, etc. I give her 500 baht, which she takes and then she goes on her way.
Thank goodness. She was a fucking psycho! I was glad just to get her out of the room. It is too bad it was so late or I would have tried to find another girl. But I was tired now and didn’t want to bother with the after hours places. So I called it night. I would now have some making up to do now!
