Not so Good on Friday

After waking up at my normal 5:30 AM – a sure sign that my body was adjusting to PI time – I laid in bed for a while trying to will myself back to sleep. About 8:00 AM, I realized that this was futile and headed out to Mo's for early breakfast. Today was Good Friday. I wasn’t sure how many bars would be open tonight and had been planning to take it easy today. However, the best laid plans often go asunder in Angeles.

After finishing breakfast I went back to room and settled in to read “Moneyball.” I knew that the mall would be closed today – they had a sign saying they would be closed both Thursday and Friday – so I thought that maybe I’d see what was open on the Perimeter this afternoon.

One of the reasons that I continue to stay at the Swiss Chalet when in Angeles is for the superior room service. Whenever I leave the room in the morning, I can come back within minutes and the cleaning staff has already made up my room. Additionally, I wasn’t charged anything extra for cleaning the sheets after the great bloodletting incident of a few days before. Mix in a friendly staff and, as long as I continue not to need a pool, I’ll stay at the Swiss Chalet.

Around 2 PM, I finished “Moneyball” and cleaned up to head out for the Perimeter. I walked down to Gentleman's Club/Dr. Holms but, alas, they were closed. On my way out, I was summoned by a doorgirl to check out Eruptions Bar which is located behind Dr. Holms and was open. This is actually a very nice bar, however this afternoon they had a weak lineup. After a water to cool down from the walk, I decided to head back to the hotel rather than see if more bars on upper Perimeter were open.

I walked past the open Cherry’s/Stampede (off-limits now after my time with SS) and an open but dead Crazy Horse Saloon and went back to room where I napped until about 6 PM.

After grabbing a bite to eat I headed out into the not to Good Friday evening to see what was available. I’d estimate that about 60% of bars were open. All the bars on lower Fields (Blue Nile, Bedrock, Cambodia, Nero’s, Misty’s were closed In bars that were open, girls were dancing in street clothes rather than the usual bikinis but other than that everything seemed normal. I went to Camelot and Brown Sugar and had a beer in each bar. Although fully stocked, there was nothing in either bar that peaked my interest.

I decided to head back to Gecko's to check on big-titted Manilyn who I had met on my first night in town. She had indicated that her mens would end on Wednesday so now I would see if her earlier rejection was me or actual menstruation. She was there, but I got the feeling that she wasn’t into me. At least I now knew I was the cause of her menstruation, so I set my sights on another target. Skinny Gecko’s Girl (SGG) wasn’t the best looking girl in the place but she has a great personality and was a lot of fun.

SGG first caught my attention when I was feeling out (so to speak) Manilyn earlier by wearing a shirt that said, “I may not be Ms. Right, but I’ll fuck you until she comes along.” That could be the PERFECT mantra for a girl in my opinion.

In the end, I barfined SGG and we headed back to the room for several rounds of what only can be described as extremely athletic sex. SGG was insatiable. We fucked on the bed, in the shower, on the edge of the sink, in one of the extremely uncomfortable chairs in the room, and finally standing in front of an open-curtained window to give the workers on the construction site next door a show. One of the axioms of those who go to Angeles is that you usually get some of the best sessions from second-tier looking girls. This was certainly the case with SGG

When SGG left the next morning (with a 500 pesos tip from me), I was sated. Thank God for Angeles City!

Ha ha! Moneyball was great! Another good baseball read is The Bad Guys Won, a bunch of reporters' collections of memoirs of the '86 Mets. Re: Moneyball: Everytime I see Kevin Youkilis (sp) I think of Billy Beane getting pissed!
