The most important positive surprise I encountered was that on those April Friday and Saturday nights, there were still a very large number of very hot young chicas working in the bars - more then any monger needs to work with especially in light of the customer shortage - gringo dollars were next to nonexistent in most of the clubs. Outside of Lord Black I hardly ever encountered a gringo inside the clubs compared to the mobs of horny idiots and U of AZ students I encountered on previous trips. What this essentially means is that if you live within easy range of Nogie, there are more then enough chicas to make private arrangements with on days off and off shift hours. I was a tourist passing through so I didn't do that and I don't know what it might cost. I get the feeling that a monger without game and good spanish will find that these chicas don't understand a buyers' market when they are in the middle of one. But that's pure speculation.
As for sex on premises, fagetaboutit. In the interest of research I sampled privados at several of the clubs and the traditional nasty sex in the privado booth scene is OVER with no curtains, no privacy and I didn't encounter a single chica who propositioned any extras in the privados. If you want to go to the private rooms, fine, but they are costly and the process described by my local friend of going to these rooms (which are illegal) makes it seem like you need to be a cross between James Bond and Spiderman to get to them. The one exception being VIP/Fiesta which sanely dispatches patrons to a comfortable nearby hotel - but costly all around.
Catch this non-Nogie travelers, my amigo made a trip to the private room from Boleros with an 8.5 beauty who had all the right moves in the bar. So while she changes from slutwear into civies, two guys are positioning outside with walkie talkies - one at the door of the club and the other at the entrance to an adjoining building where this secret fuck chamber is located. So the horny kids wait until they get the all clear from the walkie talkie kids and walk to the other building. There they go up some back staircase and get deposited into a makeshift room. The door is bolted shut behind them - they are locked in (no fires please!)!!! The chica is given a walkie talkie to summon for their release after my amigo has his release.
Boleros, Club 69, Lord Black and VIP/Fiesta all had excellent eye candy. Very few if any below average chicas and more above average then average. Cherry's was open but nobody home. I was only engaging with the above average (actually WAY above average) demographic and found them very friendly over drinks and they didn't drink too fast, but they were coldly professional once the stream of commerce ran dry. They didn't melt for my bullshit the way the TJ chicas do!!!
A couple of completely amazing spinner beauties at Club 69 danced sexy down to full exposure of the birth canal, and they smiled sweetly when I tipped them at the stage (I was the ONLY stage tipper). I thought that might get me some kind of "hola, como estas?" attention when they finished dancing, but neither cast a glance in my direction - just sitting at the bar talking to each other along with the cellphone play. Geesh, these chicas need some Hong Kong Club training! It was a mistake for me not to get pro-active and even go deep for more money then I wanted to spend, because one of these chicas was pretty much as good as it gets in my subjective universe, and I think I could have softened her up for a memorable experience with money and my caballero charm...uh, money.
El Tecolote definitely seemed like the most promising place for sleazy ficha action, but of course almost every chica was thick and/or older, but some were also pretty and sexy and very friendly with drinks - like HK girls in TJ are friendly.
I would have had a good time just revisiting the sites of many good times in years past and watching the eye candy strut about, but I was fortunate to stumble on to a major highlight - or it stumbled on to me. I met a true semi-pro who slipped into VIP very late and made a beeline for my lap while my amigo was in the hotel with a chica. In that time she told me she works in a store, and only hits the red lights on about a half dozen occasions per year when she can't make ends meet. She was angelic and mid-20's with a baby living with her and a roommate. We made a date for Saturday late afternoon - met her at the border at 5:30 with her being right on time. We cabbed south to a unimpressive restaurant for dinner, and then to her apartment for 2 hours of GFE which was offered for $80 - and the baby graciously quiet in the next room. I gave her a $20 tip. She would have done a TLN for $150, but I had further research to conduct in the clubs and I knew that the bambino wasn't going to stay tranquilo all night. The apartment btw was in a destitute hillside shanty community a few miles south of the border, but she and her companera de casa had it pretty nicely fixed up and comfortable...and it had a working toilet and electricity.
She Emailed me a couple of weeks ago that she's back in hometown Obregon, and may return to Nogales and leave the baby with her family and put some more hours in at the clubs. I told her if she's going to work more in the sex biz, she should just come to TJ where we can live happily ever after.
Only other action I had was with this kissing machine named Julie - also at VIP. She's a reasonably cute spinner but accumulating la grasa in the middle and likes to drink the minuscule swallows of tequila they serve her as a ficha drink. She didn't seem too bright but has a habit of immediately slipping into passionate DFK the minute she sits down with you, and it is difficult to get her to come up for air. But she has a decent sense of humor, giggles and plays, and her work style brings her business while the "smarter" chicas sit or lie around earning nothing. However, those more dignified smart chicas won't be getting as many colds and flu as Julie.
I thought I was done for the night after the extended encounter with the semi-pro, but Julie brought another minor round of lust out of me. Surprisingly she solicited the privado instead of the hotel. I figured I was going to lose the poison one way or another, so it may as well be in a cheap privado.
Entering the privado room at VIP I see that it is basically space just for one couple, and if you sit where the chair is placed you will be in plain view of much of the bar area. I grumbled about that and Julie had the mesero move the chair to a spot where I could not be seen outside the privado area. I told her she had me worked up and I wanted to cum - she obliged by fishing out my little buddy and manually coaxing a load while the DFK continued - not so damn bad for my $20 investment and I tipped her another $20 as well.
At this point I was done and I departed Nogales feeling like I had beat the devil roundly and had a really good time. Nogales is a catastrophe compared to what it used to be in terms of club excitement and availability of easy cheap thrills with hotties, but if I lived in southern AZ I would be having plenty of big times there, though working outside the system they want you to operate in as I'm thrifty and no kind of Spiderman anymore.
