I have a few regrets from my trip that your report reminds me of. First is Lula-I had a shot at her mid-week at 4x4. I bought 50 Cohiba Esplendidos back with me on my last trip, carefully wrapped in a claypot in a large basket filled with little pieces of pottery, nicely layered with stinky dirty soccer shirts (to throw off the customs dogs.. damn those beagles), the entire basket wrapped in plastic and tied up. On the theory that if customs decided to hand-search, they'd give up after unwrapping the 20th little piece of pottery in the basket and never get to the bottom. All that work and what happens? The customs officer asks me "Do you have any foodstuffs" I think to myself..."You can't eat Cuban cigars", and say "No", and so he says "Welcome to the USA".

And now I find out that I practically could have strolled through smoking a Puro with a box under each arm! Hehehe, I'm sure it's not quite so easy, but I'm still amazed. You are one lucky sumbitch!

I should have put some discussion about my hotel in the report I stayed at the Debret for the first time. I stayed in room 1102, which is the second best room at the Debret. I believe the best is 1101, which has a larger room, and the entire balcony faces the ocean. I bought the room on their seasonal package deal on their web site. The room was nice and the bathroom was clean.

I did get some outside action on that balcony during the evening with Patricia one night. I had to give a try, although I'm slightly scared of heights.

I am planning to do Taina again when I am not so drunk. I am sure that she doesn't compare to Deborah but I can tell her oral skills are out of this world. But the best session of all time was Debora. Nothing can compare!

GCL, it would be good to see your list of best sessions of all time. I would have to say three from this trip would be in my top 5. Taina, Debora, and Sula.

WGA was a joke! It was supposed to stand for World Garota Archive. A place where the garotas talk about all the gringos. The point is that they girls talk about us plenty too.

We could start a whole cigar discussion. I've told my customs story to several people, and one friend told me that they pretty much let go anything less than a box of cigars. So I suppose they would stop you if you had, say 100, cigars. Also, of course, they wouldn't let it go if you had anything else illegal in your luggage. Like some dope.

The first time in September, I went to a cigar shop on Copacabana recommendeed by Bobby from Blame it on Rio It was a disaster. About helf the cigars had little cigar worms, and they became unsmokeable. I recommend strongly the cigar shop by 4X4 (on the same street as Termas 65) They have a very nicem humidor room, and they will also volume discount.

The place by 4x4 is nice also because it is also a bar, so you can sit and smoke one of your choices immediately afterwards in a nice setting.

Still some of the best Cubans that I have bought are from the cigar shop by the Presidente in Costa Rica. Note: not the cigar shop inside the Presidente. The price wasn't too bad and their selection was amazing. Plus all of the cigars came in tubes, which makes for much better storage.

The veranda runs alongside the entire room including the bathroom. Room 1103 is essentially two rooms. A very large living area and with the bed, and then the bathroom. So the veranda only has one entrance from the living area. I highly recommend this room, and the chicas all like it too.

BT-I remember it taking 45 min or so by metro-about the same as it would have been by taxi. I think a big part of it was a lot of traffic getting to the metro. That was about 20 minutes, wasn't it? Then we couldn't walk straight to 4x4, we had to circle around it because of that shooting. I agree it took about the same time a taxi would have, but I hear there's a new metro station openining up near Luomo and that would help a lot.

That also sucks about the Rebecca/Shayla thing. The same thing is happening to me and it's a shame the people who contribute here have to deal with it.

I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT! I love your videos BT but there was something that was a little peculiar about them. I never could put my finger on it, until now. Actually I'm very surprised no other monger has picked up on it. I wondered why the some of the girls acted a little strange in the video, when it finally hit me like a ton of bricks. Some of them don't realise they are being filmed!! Took me a while to understand, but here are the 2 reasons why.

1) You are pronouncing the word "video" wrong. If you review some of the videos, you will notice some of the girls have a blank look on their face even after you repeat yourself 2 or 3 times. They don't understand what you are saying.

2) I looked your camera up on the internet and it looks exactly like a 3 year old digital camera, they don't realise that its actually a camcorder:-) Thats why so many of them ask you "If you have taken the picture yet?" They are waiting to see the flash go off, they don't know that they are being filmed.

Not flaming you dude, actually I think its kind of funny. I have a good friend who has ALOT of video of Meia Pataca and Hooker Beach girls. He even has a substantial amount of video of Camilla and we all know how "camera shy" she is. I couldn't undeerstand how he did it until he showed me his camera. He has a brand new Fuji and its so small and thin that it looks exactly like a walkman, NOBODY knows that its actually a digital camcorder. As long as he doesn't pull the LCD screen out, you would think he is just walking around with a walkman in his hand.

BT-Don't quote me on this because you remember I was pretty sick, but I remember the Metro station in Copa being down at the far end. That was why the taxi to the station took so long. I don't remember it being near Help. If they did open a station near Luomo, you could walk in early afternoon or it would be a 5 min cab ride. I think that would shorten the trip. My problem with a cab is that you hit traffic leaving Copa, then it gets really bad once you hit downtown Rio and you can sit there 15-20 minutes. I'm not like some people here (GCL) who has an aversion to spending 15 Reais on a cab, but I would do the Metro if it could save time.

Isaballa told me she met Patricia when she worked at 4x4. She said she's always been like she is, kind of crazy.

Just out of curiosity... what exact model is it and how much is it? I have a very expensive Sony camcorder but it's too damn big to bring to the termas. Maybe I'll use it at my apartment???

Godfather I made a mistake, its not a Fuji camcorder. Its either the JVC GR-DVP7 or the JVC DVP3U. It was really cool because of its size and sleekness.

Guys--the girls in the BT videos knew they are being filmed. They knew. It is very obviously a video recorder and it has a 3inch screen which he lets them see.

The metro station Arco Verde you took is about 6 blocks from Blockbuster further down Copacabana avenue then 2 blocks left (away from the beach). The new metro station will be 2 blocks from Blockbuster, just before Luomo. Considerably closer when you are walking. Once you get to the metro it goes fine--I agree the cab ride to the metro can be annoying, particularly since half the cabbies in town do not even know where it is. If it seemed you rode a long way then the driver may even have taken you to Botofogo.

Taxi versus metro? Metro is cheaper, but can take the same time and requires some walking. The best use of the metro is leaving 4x4 when the downtown traffic is snarled. You can easily save time and frustration.

You are both right. I ALWAYS tell the garota that I have a video camera. I pronounce it (vee-JAY-o). Maybe that's not right. Maybe the accent is on the first syllable. From this trip, I think that Larissa, Carol, and Julia were not sure initially what was happening. Even Patricia was a little puzzled in the beginning.

I agree that you can save a little time by perhaps taking the subway, but it makes me nervous to be walking around 4x4 after dark. OK, after a little reflection, here is my top 5 list. Maybe GCL can critique.

1. Debra (MC retired) - There is no question here. She is now retired, but she is by far the best that I have ever had. Hands down winner and probably GCL will agree.

2. Sula (4x4) - My first inclination was to put Debra second as well. But then I thought of Sula from my November trip. She was amazing as well and very attractive. However, not even close to the energy that Debra had, but Sula is the complete package.

3. Barbara (Solarium) - She no longer works there but she was awesome. Of my top 5, I would have to say that Barbara has the prettiest face, and a very sweet gentle personality. Great in bed. I definitely wanted to do her again my last trip, but she was no longer there.

4. Julia (Centaurus) - What awesome tits, and she is multi orgasmic as well. Very very hot and only 19 years old.

In any case, if you can try to block out the thought of HC1 you can have an awesome time with this girl. YMMV with her because I have heard reviews ranging from "okay" to "WOW". If you do nothing else, spend time talking to her in the Boite, she is funny as hell--which may have contributed to me including her on my list. She is one of two garotas that after my session, the mirrors were all fogged up as if I had just finished a hot shower.

4. Eduarda from 4 X 4. This is one of the sexiest garotas I have ever laid eyes upon. I was actually a bit intimidated to talk to her when I first saw her. BT--Eduarda is indeed completo. Just thinking about her makes me smile. To my horror she was off work at 4x4 for the duration of my last 3 week trip--and her phone was not working. I left Rio on a Sunday the 1st of December--on Saturday 11/30 she called Don asking, "Where is Richie? Tell him I will be at work on Monday". Ugh.

Some of these girls have amazing memories, by looking at a picture of themselves, they can tell exactly who took the photo. They can look at the decor of the room, their hairstyle, makeup, pose and be able to tell you when where and who took the photo, very impressive.

I am using the Sharp NZ 550. I like it because it is quite small. In fact, many of the garotas think it is a normal camera.

I have not tried to film the entire session before but a few of the garotas have jumped me before I could turn the camera off. Some of them are really into seeing themselves on camera so if you find the right one, I am sure it wouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you discuss it with them up front.

I must say, that "BluesTraveler" is so far, quite the man about the world. I have been to Brasil and I think that he has hit ever "termos" that Rio has to offer. My favorite is Monte Carlo's and my club of choice, is "HELP." I have to tip my hat to you my friend, because I thought that I've had some of the finest women in the world, but you my friend have made me jealous at some of the women that I've seen in your photos and videos.
