Observations

After seeing the Internet pictures, I had high expectations for the talent at this boate. I wasn’t disappointed! The pictures aren’t Photoshopped and many of the girls I recognized from their Internet photos actually looked better in real life.

Of all the places I visited during this 1 month trip spanning 3 countries, La Barca had by far the highest quality talent. Wall to wall stunners in the ultimate eye candy store!

Alas, the La Barca beauties are total ice queens. I’ve rarely encountered such a cold reception in any of the world’s P4P venues. The girls’ attitude seemed so bad, it was bordering on hostile. For this to happen in a country renowned for its hot-blooded garotas is almost unthinkable. Furthermore, I had the distinct impression that foreigners were less than desirable customers.

After spending my first night in Porto Alegre at La Barca, I was convinced I’d been magically transported to a different part of the globe. The North Pole came to mind!

Observations

I had the misfortune of visiting Carmen’s when it was packed with football supporters celebrating their team’s victory. The quality of the garotas was a notch lower than at La Barca, but still pretty high. Since the male/female ratio was absolutely horrible, few girls were unattached...

In the end, I did manage to negotiate a deal with a pretty blonde. But 400 BRL to spend the night with me must have been a rock-bottom deal. In the end, Alessandra decided it wasn’t worth her while...

BTW, Carmen’s may have upscale prices, but compared to the other boates I visited, it definitely didn’t look upscale. They could do with redecorating...

Observations

Gruta Azul is an upscale boate that seems to attract an older clientele. The girls seemed to be a little older as well. Compared to the competition, I wasn’t impressed with the quality or quantity of the garotas. But the girls did seem willing to spend more time chatting and dancing with their customers and were in no hurry to head upstairs. At least, that’s what I observed with Brazilian customers...

At the end of the night, I managed to meet the object of my desires. She turned out to be too greedy...

General Observations

Taxis

Taxi drivers get commission when they bring you to a boate. Since reports by Brazilians on GP Guia mention the same cover charges as I paid, the money doesn’t come out of your pocket. As long as you negotiate it in advance, any taxi driver will drive you to the boate of your choice... for free.

Male/female Ratio

The male/female ratio was particularly horrible at Carmen’s because of the football victory. But it wasn’t particularly great in the other places either. In every boate I visited, there were way more punters than GDPs.

Prices

Prices in the boates in Porto Alegre are sky-high... especially for foreigners. Many girls didn’t seem willing to negotiate either. The boates have the advantage that you can see the girls, but the escorts offer way better value.

Closing Time

If you think you may be able to get a better deal near closing time... forget about it! The boates are mainly oriented towards ST action, and once a garota has made enough money... she simply goes home. Near closing time, there are usually plenty of punters left... and just a few desperate garotas.
