Anyone tried meeting an "honest" mexican woman for dating, fun, etc? I am close to Nogales and I would like to meet a Mexican women just for companship/girlfriend fun, not necessarily sex.

Anyone have any success or can recommend a place to meet these types of women??

Theres a website called Mexicanladies.com, I think, it advertises women from Hermosillo wanting that kind of thing. Hermosillo is not too far from Nogales and they may have girls from Nogales since it is so close.

Have you thought about placing an ad in a Nogales, Mx newspaper? Of course it would have to be in spanish. When I used to live in Tucson, I went to Nogales a couple of times just trying to meet women that were working in the stores or market place and try to strike up conversation. I was a little uncomfortable because I was by my self, and was concerned for my safety. But I remember seeing some cuties there. This was a year ago. I might return.

The introduction agencies are a good idea to and convenient. But if you look good you may do fine on your own and save money.

There are many Maquiladoras in Nogales and other border towns. A major portion of the workers in these plants are women usually single, and there are many women. A few months ago I had talked to someone on the net about this and he recommended trying to meet women from maquiladoras. He was dating a woman who worked at one and said she was wonderful. Now what I'd like to know is how do meet these ladys since you really cant go into the plant. But this should present an opportunity.

Its harder to find single Mexican women than single gringas. You'll never see a non-working chica in a bar by herself, and chicas tend to go out in public in flocks, either in groups of chicas or with the family.

It's a culture thing. First off, let me start with a preface of this information is being drawn from my experience and thoughts on the matter and by no means gospel. I know someone here will disagree with me but if you look at the spirit (and not the letter) of what I write you may find something of use within it.
The thing to remember about Mexico is that for the most part, they are twenty years behind the times. Yes, they may appear the same as American's (sporting cell phones, capri pants, etc) but there is a vast difference. Take for example "drug users", for the most part, they do Marijuana, something we saw very popular here in the states some 20 years ago (in that quantity). Most U.s. drug users are into designer drugs or cocaine as a rule of thumb. So, back to the single women topic, young mexican girls tend to be very conservative (at least on the surface, you'll find out more once you're alone with them). Parents tend to be old fashioned and hold high values which were tossed out the window in most U.S. homes many years ago. Plus, the mainstream religion in Mexico (or hispanic cultures) is catholicism (a hard, guilt driven, conservative practice where birth control is forbidden, etc).
Your observation that good single girls run around in groups or with the entire family is right. Very seldom (and you would have to wonder if you did) will you see a good single girl at a bar by herself. It just doesn't happen. So, where then do you find a good single Mexican girl? Someone previously on this board said "at church". I would try disco's, cafe's, gym's, etc. You need to go to innocent places to find such women. If you go to the house of ill repute, you will find ill repute. :-)
If your intention is to find a good Mexican girl and marry her, then I would suggest that you find her when she is young (most family's long to marry off their young women to a good husband & provider) you also avoid the chances of hooking up with a girl that has kids already as it is sometimes common for girls to have kids when they are 18 or so (yes, married or not), be prepared to marry the whole family (and tote them around a while) as this is common. Be prepared for a question of "what is your intentions with my daughter" if you come around more than once to see your young chica.
Another good practice would be to hook up with someone of your gender and approx. age and try some blind dating. It's worth a shot I think.

nogi_boy, any suggestions for hooking up with a little older mujeres, say single MX professionals in the 30-35 age bracket (in TJ)? In the non zona places that I have been in, the chicas seem to be in their 20's, and there is not much to pick from in the 30's. I thought, maybe like the U.S., the 30's age group might have different clubs they hang at.

A friend of mine suggests the trolley. He likes it because the women generally have visas and speak English. Of course, for some guys, that is two reasons to avoid these women.
