my mistake Fooledagain but you just got lucky last 2 games. Vikes are avg without Moss.
Explorer, Giants went to SB with these uniforms.
By Explorer8939 on Monday, November 15, 2004 - 10:17 pm: Edit |
Yeah, and the Giants sucked in the SB, too.
By Travelsrr on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 - 03:38 am: Edit |
Explorer, seems every year now teams come up with new jerseys in the middle of the season. Just in time for x-mas. What a coincidence.
By Fooledagain1 on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 - 05:44 am: Edit |
Athos : My bad, Vikes are actually 3-1 ATS not 2-1 ATS as i earlier stated, they`re 3-1 ATS without Moss and 3-2 ATS with Moss.
A little lucky, maybe, but i thought they showed alot of heart in coming back in the 4th quaters of the last 2 games to be in position to win something they definetly lacked in the past. This week tells the story, if they can`t beat up Detroit at home something`s wrong, I`m already down on Vikes -7.

Here is the TO MNF promo video that seems to offending so many people these days. Puhleeeeeeeze.
http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2656474?ifilmp=99
How hypocritical for the NFL and its viewers to be offended at ABC for this. Now the FCC is reviewing it as well? Give me a fucking break. I guess all the beer commercials, all the cheerleader close-ups, all the penis enlargement and ED commercials, those are all ok. But this? This promo somehow crosses a line. Idiots

Pulling warner and playing Manning today:
Stupid or Smart, sound off!!
By Explorer8939 on Sunday, November 21, 2004 - 12:47 pm: Edit |
It was stupid to get Warner, if the plan was to just start him for half a season. They should have invested instead in some offensive linemen, and given Manning a few more starts.
By Explorer8939 on Sunday, November 21, 2004 - 01:01 pm: Edit |
That was a killer safety in the Steelers - Bengals game, an insignificant 2 points lost on an Intentional Grounding call late in the game that cost Bengals bettors big.
By Milkman on Sunday, November 21, 2004 - 02:00 pm: Edit |
Explorer these things happen, I do not beleive in Jinxes
I am now under 500 for the year

Oh well

By Latinalvr on Sunday, November 21, 2004 - 05:43 pm: Edit |
hey explorer, that safety gave me the points for a 4 team parlay.. $200 on a $20 bet.. steelers -4, ravens -8, eagles -10.5, and chargers -3.5 .. i started to go with the favs now, no more messing around with .500 teams that may or may not show up from one week to the next..
By Explorer8939 on Sunday, November 21, 2004 - 07:37 pm: Edit |
Latinlv: posting about parleys and other wins doesn't count AFTER the games, only if you post about them beforehand.
Did you know that people who have posted about their parleys AFTER the games have a 100% win rate, whereas people who post BEFORE the game have a 0% win rate?
By Blazers on Sunday, November 21, 2004 - 09:16 pm: Edit |

I'm rooting for Ben as he graduated from one of my alma maters. Well I'm rooting for him until they reach the AFC champ game vs. the Pats. Then it comes time for the Pats to put 'em in their place.

3 for 7 in parlays
2 three teamers and 1 four teamer won and 3 Three teamers and 1 four teamer lost
I normaly try to list at least 1 underdog and last week was the first that I did not do it and lost on my first bet on the Rammies
This week i choose some tuff games
Pats minus 7 as much as I love the Ravens and they helped me win 2 parlays I am gonna go agaisnt them this week
Eagles - 7, well will this be another close game ? Eli is no Ryan Leaf but I think the Eagies will sqeak by with a 10 point victory over a team that was given up on by their coach. Donnie Football will have his way again today
Seahawks - 4 1/2 they gotta beet the Bills by at least 6 points this game. It was fun watching Bledsoe have his way over the Rammies last week. But it was the first time in like 30 games that he threw for more than 1 TD. Watch the Hawks rip them apart this week
Chargers- My underdog pick of the week
This will be a fun game to watch as the score might be like 35 -38 but who will win ?
By Fooledagain1 on Sunday, November 28, 2004 - 09:06 am: Edit |
Explorer, your killing me dude !!! Not sure what your expectations are, but they are surely out of whack.
I`ve posted picks for almost 1 full year now, coming into the NFL regular season i WON 147.15 UNITS, so i`m down a measly 13.1 units, that still puts me up by 134.05 units. Not to shabby in m y book.
Do you expect an amazing run in every thing i bet on ? That`s unrealistic, but consider this, the NFL regular season is the 8th different situation i`ve made picks on and it`s the 1st time i`ve ever lost more then a measly 10 units at any point during the situation, think about that for a minute, 8 different situation and never once being down more then 10 units at any point before now, actually I`ve only been down more than measly 4 units only once at any point in thne previous 7 situations, and I still have won units in 6 of the 8 situation I`ve made picks in, and the regular season isn`t over yet, don`t be surprised if i finish with a winning record making it 7 of 8 situations having won units.
Futhermore, Ive never once been down overall, not once in almost 1 full year worth of picks, I won my first pick posted on the site and have been winning ever since. Not sure how anyone could question with that kind of success.
Blazers - It`s very common for teams that have gotten off to fast starts like Pitt to fade against the point spread, they might go 3-3 ATS the rest of the season, which puts them at 11-5 ATS, which is pretty damn good.
Athos - I`ll be going against the Colts next week.
By Pecs82001 on Sunday, November 28, 2004 - 09:32 am: Edit |
Hopefully my lucky streak continues from last week. Even though I didn't post but the hell with you guys ifyou believe or not.
Pitt -10.5
Phil-7
SD +3
Miami Even
Parlan
Phil -7
Pitt ML
TB Under 39.5

2cd half

FA:
My working theory is that anyone who discloses their bets here prospectively and who bets using the spreads will average losses - over time - consistent with the "vigorish", ie the bite that the bookies take for their piece of the action (their fee).
This is true whether the bettor is an expert, or a chimpanzee. It is simply a matter of time.

Rumor has it Ken Jennings on Jeopardy goes down on his 75th game, which is supposedly right after Monday Night Football tomorrow. It makes a little sense to me, Jeopardy was on after the USC-ND game last night. Both Friday and Saturday, the show bottom scrolled an alert reminding everyone Jeopardy would be on immediately after Monday Night Football. Does Caliente have a line? lol. If he does lose, that was one hell of a run.

Pecs:
Everyone wins here when they post their results here after the fact.
Its the posting your bets before the games are played that's the hard part. Note that I am not saying I am any better or luckier than anyone else, in fact, my guesses are about the same as the chimpanzee who bets the spread.

These fuckers in brasil Directv showed Miami at seattle over Chargers at Raiders then they did not show kc game yesterday but i was busy making my first video ever so arrived to see only 2 min of chargers only to be cut to show the start of late game. Chargers will beat Broncos next sun to win division, then may finish 3-1 so amazing 12-4 after 3-3 start. They have no chance in the playoff, am hoping for a home wild card game win then hopefully play steelers as no one will beat patriots except maybe for peyton manning.

Explorer,
You busting my balls again? If you are look at the time of my post for the picks. It is before the game started. If you're not, your right, a fucking chimpanzee could have got lucky like I do.
By Blazers on Monday, November 29, 2004 - 08:20 am: Edit |
If Pittsburgh gets home field advantage, the Pats will not beat them...even with a healthy Corey Dillon. Bill Bellechek(sic) is 1-9 lifetime vs. Cowher, which is amazing considering how aweful Cowher has been in the post season. The only team that could beat Pitt in Pitt are the Colts because of their explosive offense. Don't expect another miracle in Pitt Charger fans...Chargers have beaten nobody and they are lucky that they have a patsy division. Chargers have played 4 tough games...at Houston, at Denver, Home vs. Jets and at Atlanta...their record in those games...1-3.
By Athos on Monday, November 29, 2004 - 09:08 am: Edit |
Fuck the Steelers, they ainīt going to SB either.
By Blazers on Monday, November 29, 2004 - 11:41 am: Edit |
If they dont go this year..BFD...they will have plenty of chances with Rothlesberger...he has "future hall of famer" and "multiple ring wearer" written all over him.
10-1...dont hate, congratulate. They beat the shit out of the Eagles and Patriots...having their RB's healthy wouldnt have made a shit of difference..enough said.

the team to make it deeper in the playoff would be the winner. If they both bow out at the same time, then it would be null and void.
I don't bother with noise that doesn't matter-- PATS are going to the dance.
