If you like cold, hard cash, and lot`s of it, then jump on board Fooledagain1`s 2006 Playoff Express, we`re getting ready to roll baby !!!!!

This looks like one of the better years to bet the NFL Playoff games, years like this come along once every 5-8 years or so, it`s pretty much in the books I`ll end with yet another playoff winning record.

As impressive as some of the runs I`ve had on the site were, it`s very likely I`ll surpass everything I`ve done on the site to date.

So if your up for one hell of a wild fun ride then now`s the time to get on board.

Khun - Nice call on the Pats - Their dominating win sets up next week nice, next week will be like having your own personal money tree and I`ll be plucking off plenty of cash.

By Khun_mor on Sunday, January 08, 2006 - 12:08 pm:  Edit

I hope so my friend. This year seems to have been a disaster for you so far.

I'm getting screwed by the Giants today . The whole team sucks. Fortunately I have a back up parlay with the Panthers and Pittsburgh . Go Stelars !!

By Mano_poderosa on Sunday, January 08, 2006 - 12:33 pm:  Edit

Go, Stelars [sic], indeed. And, I just figured out that the game will be shown live in Bangkok. Alas, if the Giants game is any indication, it will feature Thai language commentary. Why, oh why, did I stop studying Thai after only 3 weeks? Well, hopefully I'll be able to pick out the phrase "Rothlisberger to "ben rookie" Heath Miller...again!"

Manos.

KM - Thanks, I`m pretty confident I`ll go at least 3-1 and likely could sweep all 4 games.

By Blazers on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 - 07:06 pm:  Edit

Carolina is the best team in the NFC and will beat everyone in its path, including the overrated Bears. No way in hell do the Broncos beat the Patriots.....this is Tom Brady we are talking about, he doesnt lose this time of year.

By Khun_mor on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 - 09:04 pm:  Edit

Right
That's why Carolina scored all of 3 points AT HOME vs the overrated Bears . They were totally dominated and it was no fluke.
We'll see on Monday I guess.

By Don Marco on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 - 10:00 pm:  Edit

bears, pats, indy, and seattle.

If I'm wrong on one, its the skins upsetting seattle.

Denver is done. Gotta love it when my team is having a bad year eh?

KM
No Panthers scored 3 pts in Chicago, Delhomme got sacked 8 times and threw 3 ints.

By Mano_poderosa on Thursday, January 12, 2006 - 01:15 pm:  Edit

Erm...Blazers, I'm from Chicago. Yes, the Bears are ridiculously over-rated. They have less than no offense, and this is from a guy whose favorite team has a shitty offense as well (the Steelers). But the Bears are ridiculous. So, we're together, so far.

Here's where we differ. Panthers, best team in the NFC? Brother, they're called the Seahawks. Very good on O. Better than average on D. The Panthers may or may not shred the Bears. The Seahawks are in a different league.

Manos.

By Mano_poderosa on Thursday, January 12, 2006 - 01:19 pm:  Edit

As an addendum, Denver is better than Carolina, as well. Whoever wins the SEA/DEN game will be in the Superbowl. I've made money on this NFL season, by the way.

Manos.

By Ejack1 on Thursday, January 12, 2006 - 05:57 pm:  Edit

ummm......
Whoever wins the Seattle/Denver game will have WON the superbowl.

But that's not happening, Denver won't get there.

erm...yeah, mistakes were made. It was 4 in the morning or something...

By Blazers on Friday, January 13, 2006 - 09:35 pm:  Edit

Steelers were ranked 9th in scoring in the league and that includes 3 games with a backup QB starting the game......thats not a shitty offense, thats a solid and maybe good offense.

Fooledagain1 call`s it then deliver`s it, going 7-1 on day 1, including winning 2 best bets, Seattle -9 and Denver -3. It`s not to late to jump on my playoff express, I very likely will do it again tommorrow, stay tuned.

By Khun_mor on Saturday, January 14, 2006 - 08:57 pm:  Edit

The Denver - New England game has to be one of THE worst officiated playoff games I can remember.

That being said I do not believe in excuses . Scoreboard baby . Congrats on today FA -- I expect my Bear's to derail ur express once again.

Being a lifelong fan I may be thinking with something other than my brain which is why I rarely if ever bet the Bear games !
I'm gonna load up on Indy regardless of the spread.

By Porker on Sunday, January 15, 2006 - 05:07 am:  Edit

Nice that you ignore all those stupid parlay losses...

And you BETTER get hot betting 12x your normal wagering amount, or else you better change your name to HOMELESSAGAIN!

By Porker on Sunday, January 15, 2006 - 05:15 am:  Edit

Dude, you bet 43 units on Seattle in some way, shape, or form, and they covered by 1 point. I wouldn't be bragging, I'd be calling for mommy and daddy to take control of my finances.

By Don Marco on Sunday, January 15, 2006 - 07:07 am:  Edit

KM-- agreed about the officiating. However, the pats lost composure and a mistake prone game = a loss.

Good luck to the bears!

By Due_diligence on Sunday, January 15, 2006 - 08:43 am:  Edit

I had Denver yesterday and feel they should give the officials the game ball. The intereference call in the 1st half was such a horrible call. IMO, that really changed the momentum of the game, and had it not happened, New England would have won. I feel lucky to come out of that game with a win. NE was the better team.

FA, nice start, and I agree with every selection, but worry about Indy. I wonder if Indy CB Nick Harper, who just got stabbed by his wife, will start. Friggin bitch!!

By Fooledagain1 on Sunday, January 15, 2006 - 11:49 am:  Edit

2 team parlay --- 1 unit to win 2.6 units

2 team parlay --- 1 unit to win 2.6 units

Due D

Nice worry about Indy. They are screwing up ALL my parlays for today. I had them as the key play -- bad move. I don't think even Pitt fans anticipated what's happening at the end of 3 quarters !!

DM

yeah it was not just the Zebras. Brady's pick in the end zone returned 100 yards by Bailey was also a game changing event as Brady just seemed to be getting his touch and rhythm back .

By Porker on Sunday, January 15, 2006 - 05:41 pm:  Edit

Damn, Fooledagain, you picked almost every game right this weekend. How'd you lose money again?

By Athos on Sunday, January 15, 2006 - 11:03 pm:  Edit

Fooledagain playoff express early lines
broncos -3.5 o/u 41
seahawks -4.5 o/u 43.5
Can fool pick 1 game right during the playoffs is the question?

By Due_diligence on Thursday, January 19, 2006 - 07:55 pm:  Edit

I like Denver a lot this weekend. To my surprise, Shannahan has figured a way for Jake Plummer to thrive in the Denver offense. Also, his acquisitions on defense have really panned out. Pittsburgh will have start out of the gate fast if they want any chance of winning. The crowd noise will be brutal and I just feel this is a bad spot for the Steelers. Defense wins championships and the Bronco's defense will take care of business on Sunday. Take Denver -3.5.

By Porker on Thursday, January 19, 2006 - 11:02 pm:  Edit

I don't bet, but no way I would bet on that. I think Pittsburgh easily shuts down Denver run game (they do a poor job running against 3-4) and Ashley Lelie doesn't scare anybody unless he's getting bogus penalty calls.

By Mano_poderosa on Friday, January 20, 2006 - 01:00 am:  Edit

I also think that Troy Polamalu is going to give Plummer fits. Having said that, I don't have enough confidence in a Steeler win to place any serious money on the game. That being said, watching Mike "Skeletor" Shanahan (who has personally cost me more Fantasy Football championships than I can shake a stick at) embarrassed in the playoffs by my favorite team would be goddamned sweet. Now to see if the boys in brown let my bar stay open long enough to show the game live at 3:40 AM...

Manos.

I fear the Playoff Express has become a local -- and a pretty slow one at that .
Sorry FA .

Hope you're not going against Pittsburg in the Super Bowl. Maybe you can get a little payback yet.

That's the thing about short term bets like the playoffs, over the short haul, its possible to win 100% of the time, or lose 100% of the time. Its over the long haul that real winners are determined.

By Khun_mor on Monday, January 23, 2006 - 08:07 pm:  Edit

Over the long run the vast majority of the bettors obviously lose. Even if you break even you lose on the vig ! If it were otherwise there would not be hundreds of Internet betting sites and the Vegas casinos would not be scrambling to add sportsbooks. Ten years ago anly a handful of casinos had books - now they virtually all do.

It's an extremely rare dude who can make any kind of decent profit over the " long haul ".

By Stayawayjoe on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 - 06:08 am:  Edit

One thing they will not add is a horse book only that does not commingle wagers into the track pools. Years ago in Vegas a place called the Sport of Kings opened. It handled horse wagers only. They had to close within several months because the horseplaying sharks ate them alive.

Super Bowl - Seattle vs Pittsburg

As usual all the experts used the wrong info to pick the wrong team, Seattle +4 is clearly the right play in the game.
Here`s how Seattle will cover the spread and likely win the game, Seattles def will hold Pitts o to more FGs attempted than TDs score while Seattles o will score more TDs than attempt FGs.

Seahawks 27-20 over Pitts

Seattle +4 (+100) --- 8 units to win 8 units
Seattle ml (+170) --- 3 units to win 5.4 unit

Seattle (1st half) +1.5 (+110) --- 4 units to win 4.4 units
Seattle (1st half) ml (+155) --- 1 unit to win 1.55 units

Props

Seattle -3.5 (+220) --- 2 units to win 4.4 units
Seattle +7 (-160) --- 1.6 units to win 1 unit
Seattle +10.5 (-260) 2.6 units to win 1 unit

Seattle to win game by 7-10 pts (+800) --- 1 unit to win 8 unit
Seattle to win game by 11-13 pts (+1500) --- 1 unit to win 15 units

Seattle to score over 21.5 pts (-125) --- 1.25 units to win 1 unit
Pittsburg to score under 24.5 pts (+100) --- 1 unit to win 1 unit
Seattle to score exactly 27 pts (+1200) 1 unit to win 12 unit
Combined pts in game 43-49 (+400) --- 1 unit to win 4 units

FA Your prop bet Seattle plus 10.5 just might pay off for you. hehehe

Good Luck.

My measley bets so far

Pittsburgh - 0.5 first quarter even money

and Pitt -3 with over 24 parlay first half .

One of us will be cryin crocodile tears. Hope it ain't me !!
